I really loved this place. Beautiful. So happy to see you again I would love to see those arched ceilings in a smaller less expensive place by the coast. Thank you so much for all your videos❤
You have created a remarkable channel. The videos are welcoming and warm. I come not only to satisfy my love of architecture, but to learn a little about the history and cuisine of each location. Grazie mille, Marco. Kudos.
WOW !!! What an impressive palace. To an American the price seems very reasonable and especially for the size. I also enjoy your Foodie side of the videos !
I watch your channel and find this summary video excellent. As always, extremely informative, easy to watch and no frou from crap. Just good camera work.
Thank you Marco, this one felt like it was for me, personally, I am interested in the Salento region and many of the towns you visited. I am hoping to spend three months there this spring, arriving to Lecce then on to some of the towns in the southern part of the region. Keep um coming Marco, Bravo!
What would we like to see in future videos? My ideal place would be a property in a natural setting that would qualify for the 7%, but is near a town I could scooter or e-bike to within 15 mins and with lots of restaurants, services, and year-around activity.
I loved this superb and engaging video. I'm biased because I too bought a place in Puglia. If you do another video ranking charming spots in Salento, please stop in Aradeo.
I would love to see some trulli or smaller places that are easy to keep up for retirement. one story places would be great. Thank you Marco for these videos.
Not a single one of those pastries would have made to to the map from the tray if I was there. 😂😅😂😅 That is one beautiful palazzo, Marco! It has been well kept.
man you should get an oscar. I just bought a property in puglia but still watching your channel. it is so beautiful and entertaining. you really should direct movies
Beautiful. Depends on your taste of course, not only in architecture but in environment, culture and cuisine as well. I chose the mountains of northern Veneto but I will definitely go south and seaside for my next property. Worried about the mosquito situation, however.
I live in London where there are so many trees and parks. What strikes me when I see aerial views of Italian towns/cities is that you have very few green spaces, so the air quality can't be good either. I grew up in Italy in towns without a single park or communal green area. Piazzas can be beautiful but I'd rather have a park to go to
Awesome breakdown, thank you. Quick question about Puglia: Are there concerns with the extreme drought in the area and many of the wells going dry with forecasts of increased drought over the next decade. What has your experience been with aquifers and associated wells going dry and cisterns having to be used for water? Thank you.
Would love to know how much the owners want for that stunning palazzo... we are planning on buying in Puglia and Nardo could be on the list if easy to get to from airports
Holidayed in Puglia in 2015. Sooo many empty houses. Visited Lecce, Gallipoli amongst many towns. To live there, you'd definitely need the language and to adjust to the local rhythm. Don't expect cafés and restaurants to be available as in the UK. Most families are cooking and dining at home. Something we discovered as tourists hunting for places where we could get a meal.😊
So I am comparing the North and the South. When you quote the price per sq. Meter how much would you discount for a location outside of a city center or town? Additionally to you have an approximate discount on any property that is half renovated, first and second floors but not the third or fourth. Thanks
So I mentioned the average price for the whole town, which is the data I had available: so something fully renovated would definitely cost more and homes needing renovation could be less. Desirable location within certain parts of a city center could also influence the price.
@ thank you. I am looking at a large home in Piedmont about a mile outside of a small town north of Asti. Not sure what price level it would support. First two floors in excellent shape, no air conditioning. The top floor and side building are not in condition to live in currently, but bones are good. Each area is about 300 sq.m. Love your show and the way you present properties. I find your presentation to really be first rate.
This guy is brilliant with this channel! I love these videos.

That Palazzo really is a DREAM! 😍
This is literally exactly the content I needed. Thank you!
“Theres not a lot not to love Lecce” indeed… I left my heart in Lecce this summer!
Really enjoyed this one. I love the mix you include in your videos. And your sense of humour doesn't go amiss either!
We spent a few days in Nardo for our honeymoon, and I fell in love with it. What a beautiful Palazzo!
Wow wow wow!!! What's not to love??? Beautifully done Grazie mille 💜
Marco, you’re the best !
thanks!
@@Justdreamitaly I appreciate you specifying the populations for the 7% qualification.
Great video, thank you! Love your descriptions and visuals.

I love your videos and hope to move to Italy at least for a few years. Thank you for your tops picks of southern Italy towns. :)
Ahhhh. Back to Puglia. These are just so much more interesting and unexplored. Glad u are home!
I love you for putting a pastry with the town. This is amazing.
This place is lovely. And I liked the list of towns. Thank you ❤❤

Marco another great video !! Thank you for all you do
Ohh I’m excited to watch this one!
You definitely got 1 and 2 in the right place, but they all look good! 😍
So beautiful!
Honorable mention for Matino 😊
So many honourable mentions! I could probably make another list of 10 just for other close contenders
I would love to see some trulli or smaller places that are easy to keep up for retirement. one story places would be great. Thank you Marco for these videos.
I wouldn’t change a thing awesome house!
The tile work is spectacular

Beautiful. Those star vaulted ceilings are wonderful. Love the cake and place concept…. do you eat them? 😋😂

My day starts right when your new video come on. I'm glad you're back to apartment townhouse as it's my preference over a house. Gracie
l'idea del video e' ottima, mi hai fatto una tremenda nostalgia del salento e della meravigliosa pasticceria salentina
This is a great format to base great city living.

Grazie! Beautiful town, villages & cities - with no graffitti!!! Where are the pople, though - do you film in the early morning?
@@suewarman9287 early morning and siesta time!

@@suewarman9287 nope, not in Puglia
Wow!! Absolutely fantastic!!
The home was gorgeous 😮

What on earth are you talking about? There are hundreds of restaurants in both of those towns. You've made the most ridiculous statement.
Are any of these locations expat friendly? If so, from what countries /nationalities might be represented?

What do you think of Porto Cesareo?
Do you also show the houses to people
@@jamesthekid87 absolutely. Write me an email if you’d like a viewing
Notice the places are all in Southern Italy or the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies. Surely there are other places in all of Italy?
Question: why do many homes always have random wooden chairs propped against the walls in almost every room?
Too many chairs, not enough tables
👍🏻👍🏻
Galatina is so so beautiful and the pasticiotto is a terrible sin.
1000-2500 euros per sqm?!? Sheeesh!!
In a couple of centuries the goods and favelas of latam will look the same lol
talk dollars or euro's square meter means nothing to me
😂😂😂😂😂
Absolutely not no way not interested and don’t bring it up again
