    ppl cannot judge anyone untill they have walked in their shoes. instead of being so negative, try to sympathize. if you don't have something nice to say thrn don't say it at all.

    I can relate to much of your situation, thank you for the video. I am sorry to read some of the other comments that are less than kind. It would be personally difficult for me to shrug off the negative comments I hear you have received. Feel proud that you are sharing your story and chipping away at the stigma and misinformation out there regarding disabilities. I would have a difficult time doing that. Keep up the fight.

    What I don't understand is how people can so easily label persons on disability as lazy freeloaders when these are people that have for the most part worked all of their adult life and have generously paid into the system in order to qualify for SSDI one must have money paid into the system by (working) not sitting on their ass people need to think before they speak such ignorance

      SweetP4real1 RIGHT?!! People don't understand how things work. Out of all my videos this one gets the most comments from people who are just ignorant. They don't watch my other videos where I tell every one my "story" but hey it's good for raising my views lol

      David Mason what you just said yes their out doing things but the part that you are forgetting is that all you just mentioned those people with them diagnosis are progressive and not reversible and it’s coming at a consequence meaning their speeding up their diagnoses, yes their is lazy fuckers but when your diagnosed with something that’s not curable and out doing things your putting your life in more in danger. Plain and simple their shortening their life span by 4 or 5 years eventually it’s going to catch up to them.

    I feel what you’re going through I am on disability as well and trying to find affordable housing. I am 63 and disabled and even the senior apartments are becoming expensive I would probably have to go further out of the city or leave the state where the cost-of-living is cheaper in order to find a decent place to live.

    My experience with disability has been pretty good. I was 50 when I applied. I had 2 back surgeries but felt pretty good considering that I had done hard labor most my life and was kind of worn out. Two months after applying I had my first check. They told me that at 50, they weren't interested in training me for a new career. So I was granted permanent disability with free health care and free meds for life. Since then I've had 2 knee operations and a full knee replacement on the other leg. I even got a new leather recliner that helps me up electronically. After hearing so many stories of denial of benefits, I can't understand how I got so lucky. And my monthly benefits are $1640. I'm not trying to brag at all but I had to tell my positive disability story. I hope there's lots of you out there with stories like mine.

    I got kicked out of the apartment I was living in because I wanted the owners to fix the loose electrical outlets that lead to one third of home fires. They do not spend much money on fixing these 24 properties they own, so it took them 2 months to partially fix the apartment I was in, but this was not before I was kicked out. The manager did not like me, so this was personal. She was severely apathetic and sarcastic. I was for the renters, not the owners.
    These Arriba apartments in San Antonio Texas don't care about the renters. They let the renters fix their own apartments with their own money. Don't live there.

    My SSDI payments are just short of two grand, I have served in the military for thirty years. I am now getting back from the system what I put into the system. If you are young working minimum wage jobs and now have medical issues why would you think that your approved SSDI payments should cover most of your costs of living. Regardless of any diagnoses at your age and highest earnings, you will always be at the bottom tier of SSDI payments.

    Thank you Tom, it is an ongoing battle still. Some of the medications that I use to take and need to take are not covered by any of the Medicare parts that I am on (A B and D I believe) my limited income is $731 after they take out my medicare payments, my rent is $650 a month and after I pay the 2 bills that i have i am left with $3 a month to survive on. I receive $170 in Food Stamps which with the outrageous prices of food in the area I live in is less than enough to support me.

    I hope things are working out for you well friend! I struggle with a lot of the same mental disabilities as yourself. I just moved here to Washington about 8 months ago from the state of Michigan where I'm originally from. I'm not on disability but I get help from dshs right now, there are a lot of resources and assistance here in King County as well.

    • @hellocupcakeitsme
      @hellocupcakeitsme  9 років тому +1

      Cory Modzeleski Yeah King County is full of resources and programs. But I love living in Jefferson. Its a smaller less "rich" county but it has a lot of great people who really do try and help. Things are not 100% but i would say at least 75% just small baby steps. The only thing I wish they would do is increase my payments so that I had more than $20 for the month after I paid everything. But even then I really cant complain. If you need help finding things here in Wa please let me know and I will do my best to help. I dont know much about King but I do know quite a bit about Kitsap and Jefferson.

      I have looked into different ways of increasing my payout and decreasing my medicare costs and unfortunately I just hit walls all the time. With my Part D coverage I have to spend $140 in a year before it becomes free. So typically from Jan - April I have to pay out of pocket foe everything then after that $140 mark its free. The only thing I havent looked into is finding a pro-bono lawyer who is a social security bull dog and see if some how my case was mismanaged or what happened because I didnt get 1/4 of the back pay i was supposed to.

Many people see this video and comment all kinds of BS not knowing what I have and am going through. But I am glad that from the sounds of it, that you are moving forward too. I would love to get a copy of your book when you release it.

But I did move to a 14 unit apartment complex. Everyone there besides myself were on social security. They made wonderful neighbors. Everyone went to bed early which worked great. I did first shift at that time. No kids running around screaming. No loud music blaring all hours of the night. So sometimes older is better. Good luck to you. The government sure doesn't give you much to live off of. That has to be hard. Prayers all is going well for you. 💙

    I'm on Social Security Disability for my heart and broken back. I still work to help make ends meet. You can't live on disability alone. Also, the older you are and more you have paid into the system, the more your payments are.

    • @littlecasino60
      @littlecasino60 9 років тому

      +Dub Coco Yes, $500 didn't seem like very much. I wondered if he wasn't receiving SSI (Supplemental Security Income) instead. I thought one would at least get $800 a month on Soc. Sec. disability. I'm now trying to get on disability. I thought I might get approved easier under the 'grid rules' because at 55 I can't do the work that I was doing when I was younger, but I still got denied and now have to have a hearing.

    • @hellocupcakeitsme
      @hellocupcakeitsme  9 років тому +1

      +Lani Moore I get both SSI and SSD to make $751. It is best that you have a court hearing because the judge will give you a fairer ruling than someone sitting at a desk. The judge granted mine the same day as my hearing. But that was also because he was presented with over 3000 pages in my case file and said "you are one of the most eligible cases ive seen come across my desk in the last 10 years" prior to that i was denied 5 times and had a meeting with my lawyer 4 times. I applied in 2010 and was granted in 2012.

    • @littlecasino60
      @littlecasino60 9 років тому +1

      +hellocupcakeitsme Thank you. I was also told I could apply for both SSDI and SSI since I qualified for both, so I will see how it goes. I went to a hearing a few weeks ago, but they suggested I get an attorney and then reschedule. They 'claim' it will go better with a disability attorney.

    • @hellocupcakeitsme
      @hellocupcakeitsme  9 років тому +1

      +Lani Moore Yes having a legal advocate really does help because many times there is tons of paperwork and legal jargon that is tossed around and what have you and if you get yourself a good attorney then you are more likely to get your claim. HOWEVER, it was my experience that my attorney made me pay back a huge percentage of my back pay to the state and social services, as well as taking a hefty fee. So there is positive and negative.

    R Smith I was denied several times before I had to get a lawyer. It is always good to have been denied at least 3 times before looking for legal help. When choosing a lawyer make sure that they specialize in Social Security Claims. Also make sure that they take all of their costs off the top and that you will not be required to pay any additional fees after the settlement. In my case, I had to pay an additional $135 to my lawyer after she took her percentage, and she made me pay back the public assistance that I received during my time waiting for a trial. I was awarded $28k but ended up only getting about $9k back and that was broken into 4 or 5 payments every 6 months. Each payment was less than $1500.

    • @hellocupcakeitsme
      @hellocupcakeitsme  7 років тому

      Glenn Smith back then there were a few programs here GA-U. Washington State provides cash grants
      and medical assistance to low-income adults
      without dependents who are temporarily unable
      to work due to a physical or mental disability
      that lasts at least 90 days. General Assistance-
      Unemployable (GA-U) is a program of last
      resort; to be eligible, individuals must be
      ineligible for most other forms of public
      assistance, including Temporary Assistance for
      Needy Families (TANF)
      And then there was the program that I was on which was GA-X
      GA-X. Individuals with long-term disabilities
      (those expected to last 12 months or more)
      apply for federal Supplemental Security Income
      (SSI); while they await approval, the state
      provides General Assistance-Expedited (GA-X)
      cash grants. GA-X clients are eligible for
      Medicaid. Once SSI benefits are approved, the
      state is reimbursed by the federal government
      for GA-X expenditures.
      The new program that they have is called ABD (Aged, Blind, Disabled)
      The Aged, Blind, or Disabled (ABD) program provides cash assistance to eligible low-income adults who are age 65 or older, blind, or determined likely to meet Supplemental Security Income (SSI) disability criteria based on a physical or mental impairment that is expected to last at least 12 consecutive months.
      The Aged, Blind or Disabled cash assistance program provides a maximum monthly cash grant of $197.00.
      So as for the programs in your area I'm not all that sure. But I'm pretty certain that all states have simular programs.

      Thank you Lisa. Yes it can be very difficult because people have so many preconceived notions about what is "wrong" with someone who is young and on SSI/SSD. I face people calling me all types of horrid things, or making quick decisions about my life. Even some of my best friends have suggested that I am just "faking it". I just keep doing me because my doctors and I know what is going on and I dont need to prove or get approval from any one. As for the low income housing, here in Jefferson County, WA in the area that I am in we only have 4-5 complexes that are low income, the rest are disabled/senior living. 3 of them are ran by a lady who is a real b***h and is only in it for herself and to make her clique happy.

      Hi there. Okay, let me say to start off with that I am not techy much. It took me 8 yrs. to figure out this commenting here an dtalking on UA-cam. Go figure. so please bear with me. I am a very active member of an anti-poverty group HAMILTON COALITION AGAINST POVERTY ( HCAP ) in Hamilton, Ontario Canada. We have been active for 4 and a half years now. We do a weekly picket in front of a government affiliated agency called ONTARIO WORKS that is supposed to assist people with finding jobs, facilitating paper work stuff, connecting with needed community agencies, assisting with finding appropriate housing and doing liason work, counselling , assisting with finding Dr. etc. etc. However, this OW has been around for too long and are basically a big concrete bureaucratic anchor not a balloon anymore. You understand ? So we are trying to remove this monolithic barrier from the path of poor people by gradually chippin gaway at it. Lately , we have seemed to struck a chord . YEAH... so we plug along. We now are doing monthly peoples' public forums re : important issues like bed bugs, housing, homelessness, food req'ts, accessibility, scuzzy landlords..yeah the list goes on. We will continue to do this monthly. As well, we are doing a small bit of individual advocacy for effected people in Hamilton. Just wanted to up-date you. There are many many groups in Ontario and Canada similar to us but our action is direct.. no petitions, no begging, no grovelling , just in their faces. We have a FB page called HAMILTON COALITION AGAINST POVERTY. Please check it out and share it around. We are working to be a city role model for other cities. you know what I mean? :) We also have a running HCAP page about the peoples' forum on bed bugs. Please check that out as well. You are definitley stuck in a tough place there my friend. Please share more with me and tell your friends and family about HCAP. I want to stay in touch with you okay. :) Just remember you are NOTalone. Sincerely,Lisa HCAP

      Hi there Cupcake. Let's keep in touch on line here. WE at Hamilton Coalition against Poverty are seriously committed to completely getting rid of poverty and the crap that drags along with it. We are direct action...not petitions or begging or short term occupies . We work hard at getting current research and info in important related areas. It would be great if we could share info and encourage each other and work together across borders to share the info and expand our territory so to speak. How do you feel about that? Take care, Lisa HCAP

    Hi there Baybay,
    for me it took about 2 years from 2010 to 2012 but they had me do a complete physiological profile and medical testings before I finally got a judge to see me. Plus I was going through the state, which took even longer. If you are going through the state expect that its going to take a bit longer. If you go directly through a lawyer then it might be sooner. However, be warned that you will have to pay back all lawyer and state fees before getting a disbursement.

    I'm only mildly autistic. Not quite autistic enough for my parents to have put me on SSI. They don't think I can hold up a job. Thats a ludicrous excuse. I'm a 25 year old adult but I'm under the "adult guardianship" which is also ludicrous. Doctors are the worst ones to ask about mental health.

      it has been my experience that 95% of the properties that are geared toward low income or even subsidized housing and take/accept disability or social security are either places for 55+ or not in the best neighborhoods. I understand that not everyone who is in low income housing are "bad' people, but more often than not there are those folks who are. I have since posting this video, looked at low income and disabled subsidized housing and have found that I either have to be on some waiting list that is a game of popularity, or that I would have to live within a senior housing unit. Most of which even though the complex is part of the Equal Housing Act, still resist or will not allow a person of my age to live within their complex/community. Even though I am for the most part a very quite person, with little to no foot traffic coming in and out of my residence. It is hard to find a happy medium. Here in Jefferson County Washington, we have only a hand full of apartments/complexes that allow for low income. These places are filled to the rafters with persons of questionable backgrounds, and drug addicted, and for a lack of better description "low class" people.
      I don't not expect low income mansions in Beverly Hills, but it would be nice to feel safe in the housing and maybe even see strict guidelines revolving around drug use. Here in Washington, Marijuana is legal now, even though it is not federally recognized, but with Marijuana being an acceptable form of drug use, persons who test positive for meth and other drugs unless prescribed by a doctor, should not be allowed to benefit from these programs. I know that would leave many families homeless or more children in the foster system. But even then I have seen Landlords and other Property Managers look the other way due to the fact that the persons in question were friends or some how benefited them in someway. Also many people in my situation do not know about the programs available to them, and because of local government and red tape and shut doors, many get discouraged and end up just doing whatever they can. It sometimes feels like the checks and balances are being looked at as "guidelines" and that these local offices and agencies do what they will or want. I have become a unofficial Renter/Tenets Rights activist here in Jeff Co because so many of the landlords in the area bully and harass their tenets and break the law at every turn. I monitor the rental boards on Facebook for my local area, and try and help out when i can by providing people with the laws governing their rights as tenets and as landlords. And by doing so have called attention to Landlords in the area which has kind of put the spot light on me should I need a new place to go.

But i'll admit i'm scared of losing what benefits i do have and being homeless. But i just keep pushing that things will somehow work themselves out. But the original diagnosis was not an "easy" one. I had to go through several state and federal doctors and disability specialists etc. It was difficult and scary because i was by myself trying to navigate it and my own mental health issues too.

      Have you gone to your local DSHS (Department of Social and Health Services) aka "the welfare office" and talked to them about helping you get in contact with a Disability Job Coach? Most states have some type of specialist that help differently abled persons find jobs that are tailored to their specific needs. Its sometimes called FCS (Foundational Community Supports) is a program offering benefits for supportive housing and supported employment for Medicaid-eligible beneficiaries with complex needs.

My one bedroom apt went from $910.00 to $1305.00 but i have a section 8 voucher which pays most of my rent. Im disabled and have been plugged into the system for about 15 years. At this time while im technically living under the poverty line lifes not so bad. I have great pain most of the time but I'm not starving although i wish i could get food stamps. You can't get stamps when your on ssd, only afdc or some homeless. So just when you feel somewhat at ease you hear about big cuts. Hi. Just stay on your state medical I will explain it in a bit to you. That will be better for you right now anyways. I have a question for you? How long ago did you file for your SSI? I ask this because you will get back pay in a lump some. If it was 1 year you will get $6,972. If its 2 years you will get $13,944. If its 3 years you will get $20,916. If its 4 years you will get $ 27,888. I will explain the medicare, If you take the Medicare part D they will take $100 dollars a month out of your monthly check but also your back pay will also be less if you take the Medicare because they will count your monthly SSI pay as $461 instead of $581. And also listening to your vidio today, You really need to watch what you say on vidio and what you post on UA-cam and Facebook and also on any other social media website you post on. Thats very important!! because the Fedral Government and State Government will use anything you say or do against you, espeically If you say your depression is not a issue lately? or say your going on a vacation? Don't say those things at all, We all know what you mean but the Government will use anything against you for sure. Im just looking out for you and I hope your doing well. Take care. Hawk Out!!

Mine have been 2 thousand dollars each. Then at one year you will receive the balance. Go check. Trust me on this. I am living it. Peace friend.

    How are you doing now? 2015? Sounds like you were just getting SSI not SSDI. Because if you worked any length of time, say, 15 years or so you would of been able to get more through SSDI.

      Hello Terrie Wixson I am doing as well as can be expected. I manage to make ends meet for the most part. Thankfully my sister pays my electric bill and my mom pays my cell phone, which is $130 every 3 months through straight talk. The only thing I wish is that I did get a little more, even $200-$300 more would completely make a difference in my life. I know if I was living in california I would be collecting almost $1500 a month. And I do get SSDI. So with the $741 i get I am able to pay my $650 rent and my $72.82 Cable/Internet bill and then the money I have left over goes to purchasing litter and food for my 2 cats. So im making enough to survive but not enough to live.

      Terrie Wixson I did answer about the SSDI :) yes I do receive that. I get $741.00 combined with my SSI and SSD, unless SSDI is something different then no I do not get that. I live in Washington State on The Olympic Peninsula. The "Free" store is no longer free, but it is a STEEPLY discounted thrift store that will sometimes give the items to you for free if you are in need. But what it was, was a place where people donated things and it was like a Goodwill or other thrift store except that everything was basically free. Then they started having prices on some things like lamps and beds etc, now because of greed within the church who started it, now everything is priced.

    • @terrie0869
      @terrie0869 9 років тому

      Hi again.
      Yes SSDI I think is different than what you get bc you should be getting a lot more than $741. Unless you don't have a very long work history. SSDI is for someone who is Physically or Mentally Handicapped.

    I can't get shit. I'm type 1 diabetic, have diabetic retinopathy, stage 3 and stage 4 kidney failure and have had 16 eye surgery in two yrs, and haven't gave up or stopped working, I'm depressed And full of anxiety due to possible dialysis, I ve been diabetic since I was 14 yrs old, insulin dependent, and now I'm 38. No family or kid ... I've worked since 16 yrs old, I refuse to give up on myself. I push myself daily, because I know they don't want to give you anything at social security... I've brought a home 10 yrs ago and worked two jobs from 19 to 36 yrs. I just recently got diagnosed with the complications that I have. I hate asking social services for anything, folks can have kids and get help before you can be sick and get help. That's how it is in VA. Work till you die!!! You look healthy enough to work, you sitting on UA-cam. You can clean, wash cars, take phone calls, you can do something. My vision is declined an so is my kidneys and I push myself daily!!!!

    Wow. Amazing! I realize this is old video however that doesn't matter as far as yours being a great story....fairytale (DREAM) for someone who's disabled...like myself.
    So yes, indeed I enjoyed it. Back to reality though-
    I'll continue TRYING TO BARELY EXIST as THIS certainly is not 'living' and I'll continue battling my state dhs as I have been ALONE since officially few 2014... When they cut all my benefits WITHOUT providing any reason WHY.
    THIS IS AMERICA FOLKS! My fine USA.
    Ask not what your country can do FOR YOU instead I suggest you ask yourself what your country will do TO YOU. Uhh ohh,
    It's not good. Promise! I was left for dead by underage dui, he fled. Problem is I didn't DIE, he basically turned his back and walked away from my blood covered body, after we made eye contact, surely knowing I was NOT DEAD. And that moment life as I'd known it for 20+ years was...
    THE END

    hellocupcakeitsme How long did it take you to get your disability? Did you get denied a couple of times and then have to go in front of a judge to get it ordered? Sorry for asking all the questions but, I'm curious because, I have been denied twice and then I have a hearing for later this year. I'm wondering if you're more likely to get it when you go before a judge? Do you still live in the same place that you did when you recorded this video?

    • @hellocupcakeitsme
      @hellocupcakeitsme  9 років тому

      I was denied i think a total of 4 times. But during that time I had to see a team of specialists. I had to see county and state doctors, and i had to see a social worker, county mental health, then i had to be reviewed by a state psychiatrist like 2 or 3 times. Then I was told by the county to get a lawyer. I then saw my lawyer 2 times and then went before the judge. I began applying for it back in 2010 and was issued it in 2013. I then had to pay back all the money that was issued to me by the state and county while i was awaiting my court hearing. Then I had to pay my lawyers fee plus $130. Yes I still live in the same place. I was able to get things kinda figured out. I now get $751 a month and $160-$170 for food. My rent is $650 my internet/cable is $80 which leaves me $20 for the rest of the month. Then I found that there is a program that most counties offer for persons who have therapy and service animals that they will issue a check to cover their monthly expenses so I get $33.66 for that. But it still isnt really enough to cover everything. I really dont even make enough to make it a full month for food sometimes. Thankfully when and if I can get a ride, there is a food bank right down the street that is open every Wednesday, but i dont get to utilize it all that often, and even then when im able to, a lot of the stuff is only a day or so from going bad. There is never "fresh" fruit and veggies like they want you to believe. And they play favorites. If you have a small family like 1-3 people you will never be offered cheese or milk or other dairy product, except yogurt, and even then its 1 per person. There has been times when Ive gotten things home and found that it looked good but when i went to use it, there was all kinds of mold and what have you on the side you couldnt see. They boast that they give away stuff for a weeks worth of healthy meals, but your lucky if you get 2 or 3 days worth of meals. Its typically just fillers and some 'staples' like rice, beans, pasta, and bread. If it wasnt for my family I wouldnt have electricity or a phone. My sister does the electric and my mom does my cell phone which is prepaid through Straight Talk. She pays 3 months at a time which comes out to $180 with taxes i think. I do have an "Obama Phone" but that is only used for emergencies since there is only 250 minutes a month on that and unlimited texting. And dont be sorry for the questions, I like the interaction. That was the whole point of me doing these videos and doing my blog.

      hellocupcakeitsme Wow well, I have had a lawyer for nearly 2 years now and I'm nervous about the hearing. Due to a serious brain injury, I cannot remember most of my work history or date, what can I do to find out my exact work history before my courtdate? Can you do a video on what all you were asked at your hearing? I'm happy to hear that everything worked out for you. I'm female by the way, many people think I'm male because of my screenname which stands for Clash of Clans Leader. Anyway, please write back when you get the chance.

      COC Leader Well I would ask Social Security to produce a copy of your work history as every place you've worked has to have records of you. So every quarter that information is updated, using it you may be able to get an idea of work dates. Another way to do it is if you had direct deposit for your checks or your deposited your work check, then you could look back at your statements to find when you deposited your checks. Social Security Work History and Earnings History Reports Detailed Earnings Information: Provides periods of employment or self-employment and the names and addresses of employers. (www.ssa.gov/online/ssa-7050.pdf) that should help you. As for the questions the judge asked me from what I am able to remember myself was:
      1.) Please describe your work history
      2.) Why is it you feel you can no longer preform those duties
      3.) What would a secondary vocation be
      things of that nature. Here is another site that may help you www.disabilitysecrets.com/page6-15.html the thing is dont be embarassed about what you say. Be honest and straight. Dont go off topic and always answer the questions. There is NO ONE in that room with you that will 'judge' you. Typically the only people in the room with you is your lawyer, your witness, the judge, the stenographer, a bailiff, and maybe a small group of witnesses.

You want a system where it is give me give me I want more set you up with a house a car food health care utilities clothing entertainment extra money and you think you deserve it all free while people like me and every other hard working family struggle and do without , we are getting up at 5 am to go to work in the winter and hot summer while people like you sleep as long as you want and do as you want. Listen to this piece of work he is going on vacation when he gets his car because he needs to get away , bullshit he needs to find a job and earn some self respect , I am 60 years old and have worked 44 years as a machinist people like this guy needs his ass kicked

There is no way that anyone will be able to afford that kind of thinking that were so accustom to. We have to change or we will die out with it. It cant last forever. Were not going to do that work with unequal work pay and laws as well stil intacted but if you want to continue to be apart of that world then the choice is yours. Sooner or later, Were going to force that government system to give back to the people what they need to survive off.

    Hello Michael...Congrats on you SSDI!!! I got my SSI in 2012 & I was happy but out here in Denver, Co. it is so bloody expensive to rent here, so I ended up losing housing and have been homeless ever since..Thank God I got in with a 'Ugh super annoying older man, thats a total grouch' , but I avoid him as much as possible.. You know those kind of people that drain you just from being around em' for 5 mins or .. Out of all I have experienced with housing hun?I know these senior living + Disabled people allowed..Its so hard since & before the president came about..Dont turn down any Housing because later on down the road, you may be stuck in the streets..I too am Diabetic, Renal kidney failure and lousy doctors, & other things.. lol I'm listening to you right now talking how you are going to go on vacation etc.. buy necessities Comfy bed, furniture , a car.. vacation? eh? a little pushing it hun..I'm just looking out for you..Also there is nothing simple about being on Disability. Government wise..In the beginning I too was jacked around until they finally gave me the entire amount..I hired an Attorney that didn't do a bloody thing as far as proof and what not? I basically did it all so after they ripped me off for the retainer? I think its called..lol sorry I won back like $9000.. they got more? plus billed me for more!! of which I declined to pay, so they SSI took my last $2000 away from me.. and as soon I started this program SSI? Wouldn't you know it my kind of Luck..they stopped paying Clients monthly of the Pay Back, Oh Lord!! So it was every 3 mos!!?? Very Stressful Being on SSI & not getting enough to live alone..I need to be alone too, well with a dog or cat companion buddy..1. I'm agoraphobic 2. PTSD plus I just like being alone to a point that is of course..I'm an artist & writer..So I wish you the very Best!! You look & sound like a Very Nice Young Man..Don't allow them to jack you around..its hard for lol I cant stand talking to social security and all those kind of places..I stutter..then their rude..lol Oh well Keep your head up high and never give up..KK

      I have not heard this. I know that there are special circumstances, but I fear that you may be temporarily without a home. I would call your social worker ASAP and go down to the HUD office and talk to someone there too. I would also speak to your doctors about it and make them aware of what is going to happen.

      I am not sure as I have never dealt with section 8 however there may be another program or something like that in your area that could work like that. The only time I have ever heard of a program doing that was through a program we have here called Community Action Plan. So you may want to check to see if your city has it. I would also go to the HUD office and see if there is something that they can do. But based on the reason that you are being evicted you may or may not get help. Also you do not have to sign anything that is your choice to do so, it will make things harder on you I believe because its showing noncompliance. I am sorry but I honestly have no idea. But if you have been on Section 8 for a few years, I do know that you can use your voucher to buy a house, and if they wont cover all of it, that you can apply for a USDA Home Loan which has a low Interest Rate. But you also have to have a credit score of 620 plus some other requirements. usdaloans.net/

    There's no way you are getting both SS and Supplemental....Supplemental alone is about $700 a month. So your work history must not be of anything..otherwise you would get way more than that. I worked 20 years and I know the last time I checked if I became disabled now I would bring in about $1500 a month and then $640 on Supplemental income.

But I do hope you share your stories and make a video. If you ever need any help in doing so please feel free to contact me. I also have a blog which I started way before this channel. • @hellocupcakeitsme

      kylemin3 Well I blog for me regardless of readership. I promote my blog, have a facebook page for it and everything else, just iin case someone does read it or happens upon a post that i wrote and finds help/comfort/support/etc in it. YOU DO IT FOR YOU. And if you do a video channel dont worry about it being scripted. You say what comes to your mind. If you are rambling then ramble, get it off your chest. Look at the thousands of people here on youtube that dont do anything but make faces and say a bunch of wierd shit and they have hundreds if not thousands of followers/views. See making a video or a blog is like talking to yourself or writing in your diary. If your talking about a situation that makes you sad, cry that shit out on cam, it is about you, your experience, your release. Trolls are going to troll. If you get a negative comment read it and say to yourself "F**K YOU BUDDY" because who is ANY ONE in this world to make you feel like crap, to make you feel like you are less than. Who are they in your life to make you feel the way you do when they say the stuff they say? People are temporary in your life. Would you rather have a hundred pennys or just 4 quarters? You keep hold of those people who build you up and make you whole and add to your support and foundation. Not the insects that swarm around you and annoy you. You are a GOD among insects, swat them down and move on. I dont know you but I am sending you the strength, love, and support that you need. And if you need to talk to someone hit me up. I will always do my best to give you advice.
