I tell you something Kez, I have a whole new appreciation for you bud...and some. Four days ago I started disassembling my Astra 18XER as per the 1.6 video you did. Watched it a dozen times, followed every step. Had a few bad bolts to contend with but nothing a dremel could chop out and replaced new. So as per our convo a while back about getting the crankshaft pulse ring replaced, the trans was off, flywheel came off and new ring and clutch replaced. That was a ball-ache in itself but glad a three year itch is now resolved. But holy feckin hell bruv how you move those transmissions about back onto the engine with ease had me saying to myself while lying on the floor chuffing out of my aris 'that bloke (you) must be as strong as a f'in ox'. That thing was heavy!!!! Where i got the strength from to get it back on I have no idea. It took me 2 days to recover put it that way. How, on earth, do you heave these things about 5 times a day 5 days a week Kez????? Seriously mate as humbling as you make all this look, that clutch work was one of the hardest things i've ever done. You are worth every cent you earn brother and thankyou so so much for the advice and that video. Huge respect my friend. Huge!
Great work on the mondeo, Drives perfectly now. I found an inch square of black gaffer tape behind the steering wheel when cleaning and had no idea how it got there. Then I watched the video 🤣
I just removed the transmission from my Cobalt SS. It's a F35 Saab trans. Man they are damn heavy. I was under there and wiggled it free and when the shaft came out all that weight pressed down on me lol. I thought I was going to die for a split second haha. I respect the work that goes into this it's not easy. Also how do you deal with stuff like stuck cv axles or stripped bolts? etc. On mine the axle and the slave cylinder bolts all stripped.
Legendary . Looking to change the flywheel on my Insignia. I'm gonna try it on the floor even though i could do it in the shop. Just a question what is the Red lube you use on the throw out bearing and why is it important? I Appreciate your Work alot.🙏🏻
I was surprised to see that even the petrol Mondeo has a DMF ? Also, you know that its going to be a awkward one when the first thing you have to do is disconnect the steering column uj !!
There is a special clutch glue for alignment manufactured by SACHS/LUK that’s what I’ve used in this instance. The pressure plate is already preloaded by the star lock.
hi I am back again but on my holidays in Ireland just in time for the good weather for me and you ,that first car there was so much to take off before you got to the clutch, i noted it was a ford ,my granddaughter has just had a fiesta are they then same ?t mind you there's enough to take of any modern car give me the old days when you could just take the prop and gearbox off no problem thanks for the video Cancel Save @leecaddick8502 @leecaddick8502 20 hours ago

Great job! You always have a poker face when you work, wondering if you had a car that changed that😅.
Any chances to see a Dacia Duster in the future?
I’ve quoted and few of them. But they’ve all slipped through the next
Bravo bravo 👏👏👏🫶🫶🫶💪💪💪

2014 tourneo clutch kit and flywheel price pls
Which battery powered ratchet do you use bud?
That's an old Milwaukee M12 Fuel Extended Reach. Looks like a 1/2. The newer ones aren't as long.
Mobile Master Clutch Service 33 minutes
