Great video, just curious about the resistance spec though...I couldn't find any specs on line on these Siemens injectors but 1,000 ohm sounds high...I tested all four of mine off the vehicle at 14.4 ohms each, are you sure about the 1,000 ohm spec?
Hey so i just replaced my fuel pressure regulator, cleaned my maf sensor and throttle body, just got a new fuel filter ad pump too and even replaced the spark plugs and it still won’t start. The boots are kinda of hard and crusty though would that be the main problem? I just don’t want to replace my fuel injectors too if i wont have to.

I understand black smoke its deffinetely because of too much fuel into the mixture with air . The ratio should be 14.7 air and 1 part fuel . Now that extra fuel that your car is burning when accelerating can come in different ways : The most common way is leaky fuel injectors , than it might be also any air messuring sensor which is not reading the correct air coming into the engine . To detect that you will nees some tests with live data from the car . Deffinetely a fuel pump will not cause black smoke from the exaust .. On this car from the video there is no typical egr valve , so if your car has one , is worth checking it , since it might mess up with the oxygen sensors readings in some situations ...

I have a 2002 c200k with this same engine now for 15 years, car runs well but recently it seem to drop idle speed as though it is going to stall, happens after engine has been running for 15 min. Runs well with no misfires only occurs at stop intersections when idling in drive. I changed cam, and crank sensors also fuel pump and fuel filter late last year, can a faulty injector cause this type of issue.
It does not seem like a faulty injectors issue , as long as the car runs ok while accelerates . If you have a scan tool with some live data info , that will be much easier to locate the faulty component . So , you might beggin by colecting more data like : , exhaust smoke / colour , test / clean the MAF sensor , vacuum leaks , LTFT , STFT and so on ...

Thanks man ! As far as I know the engine is very reliable if it got basic maintanance in the past . This engine had time to "evolve" and develop over time from the older inline 6 cylinder one . The issue might be the supercharger and the oil separator as they tend to leak oil or get a failure on the supercharger bearings ( the supercharger system was a quite new disign for this generation )

Hi ! So at the moment you have a missfire on cylinder 1 ? What are the results from the compression test ? Are the connectors ok ? Check for a spark from the coil pack (run the engine with the coil and the spark plug out and see if there is spark ) If there is no spark connect a test light to the ground , remove the spark plug and keep the test light close to the coil pack and you should see the spark jump as the engine runs. Meanwhile disconnect the injector on the cilinder you do the test , so the cylinder will be filled with gasoline . This is just one possibility .

You mean the coil packs have exposed wires ? You can check the fuses and relays vid. It has to be one of the fuses marked as " engine electronics "
