Just saw it for the second time since it aired. And i have to say, it's still brilliant! And please give us more of Carpool! And maybe do some catch up episodes.
Seamus Garvey, professor of Dynamics at Nottingham University agree with Dale that there is enough wind for 3 to four times power the UK. The issue is mass storage that again both Dale and Seamus agree about. We don't need Hinkley C, we need turbines and storage solutions.
I have only recently discovered carpool and everyone I have watched so far has been so entertaining, funny informative for many reasons but I have to say the foresight, knowledge and passion of Dale is so inspiring.
Been watching these on and off for awhile now. This has to be the best I’ve seen yet and you can see why Dale Vince has gone on to achieve what he has. Wish Bobby was still making these.
You told us at MK to check out some of the old carpool footage so i thought this was the best video to watch, No bad quality seeing you told us there only lipstick size. I'd love to meet Dale for my channel such an amazing bloke
Seamus Garvey is dismissive of batteries and the smart grid but I think he's wrong on that one. The batteries are here now so let's use them in a smart way.
The *capacity factor* of the biggest nuclear plants is about 90% (UK plants are about 60%), but the load factor, at the time this video was made, was approx. 50%...it is about 75% in 2015. I think.
There is a lot to admire than thank Dale Vince for but please Dale, stop trying to destabilise Good Energy. If you want to destabilise a competitor why not go for a non-green one?
Brilliant. We need more people with Dale's vision and way of thinking.

Look at those two, so young! Love you both, amazing people.
"Nah...they're windmills".
"We're working on plans to put charging posts by our turbines"!
Beyond that, very interesting. Thumbs up.
I remember going to the Glastonbury festival in the 90's and they had a huge wind turbines at the side of the Pyramid stage to power things.

Loved the Clarkson impression.
"You can only get lithium from a mine in Bolivia"
Totally mint.
Love the Fffffff........at 26:00. I think that DOES describe the feeling.
Fascinating information on electric cars! Very encouraging!
Really liked this one.
What an interesting guy. Naturally skeptical of claims, but fair play. Some good points well made and very best of luck to him.
"Spin my nipple nuts and send me to Alaska." That car sounds like it was in 'Tron'. Looks like loads of fun.
The best thing about this is that his company has actually gone and built the electric highway.

Actually the load factor of a nuclear plant is around 90%. This from a soon graduating engineering student.

Shame about the sound quality.
