I remember this chap in a guest appearance in The Good Guys, where an insane dwarf was trying to bite his goolies! He was playing a tv executive. I so loved The Good Guys.
the US in 2010 had an arts budget that amounted to less than $1 billion. the military budget was over $600 billion. that should provide a small hint on how we might fix the funding situation without predictable advertisement consumption.
Bobby there was a TED talk recently about the topic of intellectual property and how some industries flourish without it - such as the Fashion industry, where copying one another (without credit) is accepted and even expected. It seems to force the industry to innovate. Anyway although it sounds like a dry topic, it was actually very interesting. Have a watch watch?v=zL2FOrx41N0
I knew all about the credit crunch in the Uk, obviously, how could anyone miss it. But I alwaysed imagined the BBC as infalible. Seems a bit foolish now I think about it. On another note, If the BBC offered shows globely over the internet but with Sponsors, commercials, ads, whatever... I would so watch.
Fascinating and I live in the States. I watch more Britcoms than American tv. I HATE reality tv because it is awful. We cut our cable to solely watch dvd's. Shame!
I'm in UK and I hardly ever watch TV anymore. It is rubbish. It's either downright crappy reality TV and what isn't is plain garbage. I'm only interested in the news and even that I can access via the net. And programmes I do fancy watching (very rarely) I can watch on catch-up on the channel's website anyway. The only thing I use my TV for now is for my console games. And we dumped our cable too.

Does Robert have a secret helper elf we don't know about? Maybe a scutter lol.
Good news, our dvd's are mostly RD.
How about someone from Rutland on the SKD 18 for the London 2012?
0:27 Robert goes robotic.
@1:40
it was spare head number 2
Wacko Jacko is far more relaxed, when he's not in the production seat!

I was originally going to email you this idea but you should try and give Rik Mayal and Ade Edmonson a lift if you haven't already :P
