"The Righteous Brothers” are considered by most to be the Greatest Male Vocal Duet Of All Time. I agree. Between Bill Medley’s Lows and Bobby Hatfield’s Highs they can hit every note on an 73 key piano. No other male singers can do that. Legendary. “You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feelin” was the most played song on radio in the 20th Century. "Unchained Melody" - Bobby Hatfield Live 1965. THIS is what ive been talking about. Real music real singers real instruments no gimmicks no Autotune just raw talent . I'm so glad i grew up in a time when i could see and hear these true legends. Thank you for this and i LOVE all your reactions. Thank you for being you.
Yes we still listen to the 50s-60s70s some of the best music that ever was performed. There are many artists that sample alot of the early songs. I'm glad that you enjoyed the music from the early years.
Even though these songs are old fashioned to most of us now, they stand the test of time. The music today can't hold a candle to songs like this. I'm 50 now and still remember my dad singing songs like these to my mom in the kitchen, living room and brought me back to when life was simple, innocent and carefree. But that's most of us in our youth. Thanks for a great reaction video.
i wish a duo of this caliber would appear once more, i'm not knocking the artistes of today but this duo was something else, wonderful music and wonderful voices
The music I grew up with. Try and compare this with today’s music. I have noticed that the Righteous Brothers have been lighting up UA-cam. You’ve lost That Loving Feeling, and Bobby Hatfields Unchained Melody seems to be the most listened to. Another one I’m starting to see is Rock And Roll Heaven. I always still come back to see what your putting up. Thanks for this great song.
Back again Kristin. Thanks for this song. These guys were the first to do the song. I had the incredible pleasure of seeing these guys twice back in those days. One show I remember in 1965 had (unbelievably), Smokey Robinson and the Miracles, Marvin Gaye, Martha & the Vandellas, The Temptations, The Four Tops, The Marvelettes, Gerry & the Pacemakers, Little Anthony & the Imperials, The Del Satins, The Rag Dolls, Cannibal & the Headhunters, and The Righteous Brothers on the same bill. Do I miss those days? You bet I do.
Great reaction there is 1 more Great Celestial song Bill & Bobby did in the 70's it was a tribute to the Great Singers o that had passed it was Magical & it became Legendary the song was "ROCK & ROLL HEAVEN" love to hear & see Ur reaction TY
Two of the greatest singers of all time, and together they were unbeatable! I was a teen when this came out. Those really were the glory days to be alive and young.
The number of heart that fluttered among the ladies : White-----Black--------or anything else--------was in the millions , every time Bill Medley sang that deep bass, & Bobby Hatfield, went up high. -----------------WolfSky9, 74 y/o
@@drieuxkoeppel8152 RIP indeed, but we still got Bill! Normally I don't date men that could be my great great grandfather but for Bill I'd make an exception 😂
Growing up as a kid listening to the Righteous Brothers, Frank Sinatra Tom Jones and the big bands. So many memories of how much my parents loved and danced to there music on the Victrola. Kristin I/we love you for bringing back the oldies Don’t know if you have reviewed He ain’t heavy He’s my Brother. That song meant a lot to brothers in Vietnam!
I keep coming back to you to hear this masterpiece. Please, more Righteous Brothers. Rock And Roll Heaven. It’s their tribute song from 1974 of rock stars that have passed away. Very emotional song that only the Righteous Brothers can do. Thx
Bobby Hatfield had the tenor voice and Bill Melody was the baritone voice they shouldn't have blended together but they did and it was pure magic. Together they were The Righteous Bros also known as the blue eyed soul Bros.
Same to you! Collin... :) hey my friend!! my responses are being erased!! :( i did hundreds of comment responses... all gone :0 i hope you at least get one?
I think they could, but it's a different time and place. I wish the young generation would see what is real music and maybe one day we could have this again. The world would be better for it i think.
At about 1:14 You say "wow". That is the reaction of several million people at the time and millions more since. Bill Medly and Bobby Hatfield helped change an entire nation's attitudes about Race, Romance and Music. As the young soldier yelled during one of thier early stage shows: "Brothers! You are RIGHTUOS!"
It's called Humility......................................................... Look it up.............................We have lost this very important trait..............
Probably one of the most covered songs of all time. A song written and performed when love was real and emotion mattered. And when you think that they did this performance live without all the electronics like autotune makes it even more amazing. If you haven’t reviewed unchained Melody by the righteous Brothers you should.
Kristin, I have been off for awhile and if you have not done "Unchained Melody" and "You've Lost That Loving Feeling" by these two amazing voices please do so. Thank you in advance. Stay healthy and safe. Peace
I WAS ABOUT 18 WHEN THIS SONG CAME OUT AND I THOUGHT THEY WERE AFRICAN AMERICAN I STILL LOVE TO HEAR THEM TODAY I AM IN MY 70'S TAKES ME BACK TO MY YOUTH
Did you not do a reaction on Unchained Melody or You've lost that loving feeling? I did a search and didn't find it. If you didn't, you are really missing something very special.
First, this is not a reaction request, but only a sharing of music. I don't know how familiar you are with the Righteous Brothers, but they do have many hits from the '60s. In this one the tenor does it solo by winning the flip of a coin. It's live, in color and importantly the audio is very good. ua-cam.com/video/IYj2hex99gY/v-deo.html If you choose to listen, enjoy. This iconic song may sound familiar since it was prominently featured in the movie Ghost.
Too bad the production is not very good. Bill Medley produced it after leaving Phil Specter trying to imitate the "Wall of Sound" but there is way too much reverb especially on the 2 vocals.
I disagree 1000% This is their best song and the production, especially the first and last minute,, are perfect and iconic. This is one of the 4 or 5 best love songs of the 20th Century.
ANYTHING by the Righteous Brothers is perfection ! I am 71.

When Bill comes exploding in with his emotional soulful pleading after Bobby's quiet talking part I still get chills! 🔥🔥🔥
Bobby makes me want to swoon, but When Bill belts, or goes soft and low, i go weak in the knees and my heart just quivers
They were simply the best duo EVER.

If you like Bill Medleys voice, he sang the duet with Jennifer Warnes in the 80s for the song “Had the time of my life”. Think it one won a Grammy.

You might recognize Bill Medley’s voice on “I had the time of my life” from the movie Dirty Dancing...
Bill medley the tall baritone and Bobby Hatfield the tenor voice .my favorite song of theirs Bobby died several years ago,but bill still performs.
