I love your videos Brian! Somehow you make these tasks sound so easy... and then you drop in a few "petroleum distillates" and I'm thinking... this dude knows what he's talking about!

3 weeks New fuel pump... New fuel filter... Tow... Uber, Uber, Uber... >$1200 in (worthless) repairs.. And it turns out the rubber sleeve between my air filter and intake had come loose!!! Thanks brother
Love your videos. Love what you do. I work on newer and older vehicles and some how you always have a video that helps me out. Appreciate the hell out of ya!!! Keepem comin.
Good job, Brian. It is called an air flow meter (AFM). Any air leaks between the AFM and the throttle body are an issue. Toyota introduced OBDii on the 1994 V6 Camry 3.0l 1MZFE engine; interface is non standard.
I recently had to replace the ECM in my 1994 3.0 Caravan. I am so glad it was an old dumb computer that did not require programming. Drop-in and Go. The old one had an internal fault and burned itself up. I took pictures of it. Bought a remanufactured one. The reman had the same parts preemptively replaced that burned up in the old one. A known issue, it seems.
Brian greetings from the Caribbean. Love your channel and love how you present everything with your touch of wit. Also a big fan of the way you explain not only how to fix but how the part functions and what caused the part to fail. I have an issue that I am stuck on. You have to be pretty handy or your going to bleed money when it comes to repairs especially car repairs. I have a 1999 forester. I have the car running beautifully until about a months ago. It’s a 2.5 manual. Non turbo. Once the car is warmed up and I put any kind of an electrical load on it, the rpms drop and about half the time it stalls. During the day the car will be idling fine and then if I roll down the windows or flash my brights the car drops rpms and almost stalls.Things done New plugs New plug wires New coil pack Cleaned grounds Cleaned IAC Removed and cleaned throttle body New Throttle body gasket The idle relearn procedure Battery putting out 12:6 Alt kicking back 14.5 Air filters changed Checked for vacuum leaks and no luck. Not sure where to go?
May be it can help, car was slow accelerating and rough idle resulting to stall after everytime i drove for few mile and stop at signal or shopping. I checked cleaned maf sensor, throttle body, replaced pcv valve, ignition coils, spark plugs and so on. But culprit in my case was oxygen sensor. So before replacing several parts, just check by removing sensors like maf, oxygen etc and by the way there was no error in ecu or checklight.
94 Cool. And you can fly, high as a kite if you want to Faster than light if you want to Speeding trough the universe Thinking is the best way to travel.
My old 92 FJ80 air intake boot did that late one afternoon leaving me on the side of the road...,some duct tape literally got it to run again well enough that I was able to limp it 29 miles home...
Hey man I have a 1985 Buick Regal and mine starts up fine drives ok has a rough idle and then sometimes when I stop at a red light or stop light it wants to stall out when I step on the gas I have to lightly press the glass for it too go why is that ???
I have a 2016 Nissan Roughe and it stalls when I am at red lights and sometimes when i run into a store quickly and then try to restart the car - there is NEVER A Code thrown nor a check engjne light - it has 85 k miles - car dearly has NO clue what is going on - any suggestions thank you Sandy
Whenever you get snow accumulating on vehicle, and driveway put your flying engine on your back and use it as a giant snow blowing machine to clear the vehicle and driveway...
Like how when they get stuck in lava and hes able to rock that beast of a teuck out of it with 4 flat tires .... also when ppl try to follow him through the river lol

Glad to see I'm not the only one trying to keep the older vehicles alive. They sure dont make em like they use to.
9:48 your hood strings hanging over the belt scared the crap out of me! Thanks for posting up the vid. Nice to see the simple stuff that causes havoc!

Not sure where to go?
Also car runs very strong under acceleration
Looks like the same setup (and issues) I had on my 91 Miata. Good vid! Cheers!
Nice fix Brian. You have a wife and children, stand further back from the edge of the canyon. 😉
Great video Brian! My first guess was dirty throttle body. Yeah dirty...they should have changed the hose when you advised them to, huh?
I couldn't even watch that bonus footage, got queezy!
At 10:36 when you are filming the tach, next time may I suggest screaming "REV UP YOUR ENGINES!!!" When you press the accelerator! 😁
Always love your videos!
Nicely done
Good video, everything I work on anymore is newer then 95 but the reminders are good, thank's. I would have fallen oof of that damn cliff.......
Great explanation , that make a lot of sence , thanks !
great video brian.thanks for all the info.
Yep I replaced the hose on my 06 Honda pilot 3.5 ha was hard as a brick . Mine broke in the middle on mine tho .

Very nice! Just curious, what about cleaning the mass sensor or does this vehicle have one?
My 2000 also has the diagnostic plug in engine bay
Thanks for your videos...suggestion you might want to change the "bell notification segment", that is a little different now.
Welcome and thanks! I still have videos that say "click 5 stars!" LOL
@@briansmobile1 LOL, well then I guess don't worry about it.
How long should we wait for the cable/starter to cool after cranking.
6th lol my palms are sweating so bad get the crap away from the cliff edge LOL
I did this and it fixed my idle problem when it is at a stop but now it only runs rough when I am going 40-60 mph it literally vibrates
See if it vibrates at a certain RPM but at 0mph. Usually vibration at 40-60 it's wheel balance or tire damage.
94 Cool.

FYI Silicone shouldn't be used on the air intake because it can damage the o2 sensor and cat

Beautiful old 94 4runner
Having same problem but when I replaced my ripped one it didn’t make a diffrence truck still didn’t want to idle.
Obd1 our hands are tight😭😭 i felt that with my 94 supra
Can you tell us about the music in the BFATE? Love this channel.
Great video, 👍 they don't make them like they used too. 🙁

Same problem on mine 05 endeavor but I don’t find the bad patrt good maf maybe the cam sensor
My 1993 v6 pathfinder is doing the exact same thing. Can you show how to time this vg30e?
What would cause a vehicle to rough idle when it hits half a tank of gas? This is early 90's model ... Thanks

I was FEELING it! Didn't go prepared though. This was a stop over on a week long trip with lots of people- non thrill seeker types.
