  • BlasterPro continues to work on his 3D printed Mandalorian helmet in the second episode of the series. This time he uses a soldering iron to smooth out the plastic welds, then sands it smooth. Adding bodyfiller to hide imperfections and print lines, he then sands more. Ending the mixing and application of a light primer coat.

An Interesting technique and products, I'm always on the nose for new ideas and materials. I currently use Autotek canned filler/primer and love it but I like the look of the drop of gear you use. I only have an airbrush compressor so I'm unsure as to whether it'll run through it. My method is file, uv resin, file, primer/filler, wet sand p400 and then paint (although pre-prepped is becoming very popular with people wanting to do the artwork themselves). I look forward to seeing it all come together, keep up the good work fella. This is the way.
