Great vid as always. Very informative plus entertaining at the same time which is what you need . Are u into the show bottoms? When u said KNOBs reminded of that show.
Begs the question: Why is this beast of a Maschine so underrated? You can watch MPC footage on UA-cam for days and month. Force videos are rather rare. 🤔
@@nicethings Yes, but why? I own a Force myself and I hope Akai doesn't drop support for it anytime soon because there's more money in their MPC line. If you think about it, the Force needs extra work on Akais part, at least on the software side of things, whereas on the MPC side, it's three devices covered by one piece of software (if you ignore the "Studio"). I just hope they don't f* things up for us. ;-)
Great tutorials! Does the force allow constant real time monitoring of a microphone channel with fx plugins, whilst simultaneously tweaking the other 7 tracks? Like an aux send on a mixer....for live vocalist fx... Many thanks
Hi man, one more question, is it possible to turn off the touch on the knobs? I aks this, because i was playing with the wash out preset fx rack, on track 1 in my arrangement, and when i touch the knob, it results in a loud audio pop, before even twisting the knob to create the wash out. Some other knobs with fx from the preset have this too, they all macros with multiple parameters assigned. How can i fix this? Because its a cool fx rack
@@nicethings thanks man! I will try that, i already thought something like that was going on, i already lessened the amount on some of the effects, but not on the xy pad
Do you happen to know how to record knob changes that are assigned to a master FX? Have enabled Write mode but changes on those knob assignments don't get recorded...
Thanks Tom for another great tutorial! (And for the laughs with the rain part) 😂
Thanks for the tip. I couldn’t figure how to control synth parameters with the knobs.
You’re a star ! These Force tutorials are essential viewing .
Akai should support you. You are putting out so much quality content on the force
Thanks Tom. Keep em coming
Cool
"Oh Crap!!!"🤣🤣
Nice tutorial, subbed!
Thanks for this video. Was hoping there was a way to customise knob assignments! The force is a beast.

Poor marketing?

Yep, you can. Just press the speaker symbol for hearing it regardless of what’s going on.
I lost it lol :)
11:08 xD
Can you for example, in grid edit mode in the piano roll. Assign a knob to note start and note end?
No, these grid level functions, they cannot be automated. You have to use the data dial.
lol its raining... Where is it? Here in Germany is normal :-) Great explain!

I’ve not had that happen myself but you could check the initial amount added by going the knobs track fx edit.

At present (3.06), does not have Submix or Master automation, that’s going to be in the forthcoming update.
@@nicethings Thanks! Glad to hear the updates are still coming. Your vids are superb btw.
Can you control incoming sounds with these knobs and hear it through the external outputs?
Unsure, possibly. I haven’t tried. As I stated before, my interest is to use this in complete isolation.
@@nicethings Ok...
