Honestly this episode worked the best for me, genuinely surprised Coy liked it least. Easily felt the best paced and funniest of the bunch so far. With the best fourth wall breaks so far as well.
The guy being disappointed by Tatiana maslany in the morning just proves this show is pure fantasy. I'd be thrilled to wake up to her cooking breakfast!

i hope so. she was hilarious and fun. plus, i can see her join wong, america, dr. strange, and clea in whatever adventure goes on and if they find wanda. maybe she and wanda can talk about TV shows and get wanda to get back on track. i'm loving this show.
She seems to balance out Wong's more uptight tendencies & cosmic heaviness with her "life is a party" attitude.

I agree with Greg that Last half of the episode was much better even the CGI was good. It seemed accurate to what She-hulk from Comics would be like in that fight scene, after being interrupted from a date.

The actress playing the judge is called Suzanne Salhaney and has only been acting since 2012 so she was neither in The Lost Boys (Star was played by Jami Gertz) or The Sopranos.

I'm actually pretty sure they subtly introduced Mephisto in THIS series and episode. The goat/demon who made the woman sign the parchment.
Also this show might be my favorite of the whole MCU. It is so funny and they are nailing She-Hulk.

Let's not speculate about Mephisto until his name is actually dropped in the MCU.

Surprising because this is my favorite ep so far. I loved ep 1 but eps 2 and 3 were just ok to me. I feel like this ep really is what I want in a She-Hulk show. The comedy worked for me, the court case was wacky and fun, her dating life was also fun and the action at the end looked good and I loved that she was still thinking like a lawyer while fighting demons. I think the reason why I don't mind the courtroom scenes just being "bits" is because the show isn't serious. It's a fun wacky comedy. If Daredevil had short courtroom scenes, that would be a problem but since before the show, I wanted She-Hulk to be Ally McBeal meets Harvey Birdman and I think this ep finally balanced that perfectly for me. Excited to see where the show goes next and to see your reactions.

Like so far it seems like they’re setting up an overarching plot but I could not care less about whatever is going on with the Wrecking Crew. I just want an episodic series where every episode is just some ridiculous supernatural courtroom case
I agree completely.
I really love the “case of the week” feel of the show. It really allows the writers to just go nuts. I mean I never really thought about how the revelation of real sorcery would pretty much ruin the “magic” industry. And I’ll take any excuse to see more of Wong, he really is (as Jen perfectly said) twitter armor.
And as a man in his early 30’s I completely agree with Jen that dating in your 30’s SUCKS!!!!!! And while she may not have gotten a boyfriend at least she had sex with an infuriatingly good looking doctor. Though I’m genuinely surprised he was able to walk the next morning. He should’ve had at least a crushed pelvis, like the Amazon planet episode of Futurama, full Death By Snu Snu! Look it up.🤣🤣🤣🤣

Definitely my favorite episode so far in terms of comedy. Think that has a lot to do with Madisynn and the actress' comedic timing and embellishments behind her character. The best scenes of the episode for me involved her--hands down.

I felt the doctor that went home with her was more sus. He could've done anything while she was away and he seemed too good to be true before he suddenly ditched her in the morning and it seems weird to write it off as he just wasn't interested in her anymore because she wasn't She-Hulk anymore. BUT it could be the specimen guy, but that seems so predictable.

They build you(and jen) up to believe he's too good to be true and then the caveat is revealed to be he's only into her for the She Hulk, and not her- despite her keeping the same personality after transforming. It's also a nod to when guys go home with girls and see them the next morning makeup off and thinking they were misled

I will say, for Greg, it has come out that the writers realized they didn't know how to write courtroom scenes (or something along those lines) so that's why they are so short and sometimes weird. Should have hired writers that know how to write that, but that could be why you're not feeling those scenes.

I was hoping we would get a more comic-accurate version of the Defenders line-up in the MCU (Dr Strange, Sub-Mariner, Hulk & Valkyrie), But after seeing this episode, now I really want to see an MCU Defenders non-team with the Sorcerer Supreme Wong, She-Hulk, Valkyrie and Namorita! Hopefully Marvel will build towards that, as they bring in the others with future Jen and Wong team-ups.

The tone of this show is perfect. I love the comedy & the action. Tatiana is of course killing it as She-Hulk and can’t wait to see her on the big screen. She def. would fit in as an Avenger. And, I would also love to see Hulk and She-Hulk side by side fighting a villain.

What i liked about this she hulk episode is that it sort of gives us a preview of what she hulk will be like in the avengers tag teaming against baddies. Part of me always wondered what the new Hawkeye, moon knight or ms marvel would be like in a team up but I’ll be happy for now with she hulk and Wong lol

I like that Madisynn's party-girl ""bimbo"" character is a contrast to Wong's uptight "Sorceror Supreme" formal seriousness but they find common ground to be unlikely friends. Idk there's just something about the most unlikely people being friends, like Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg, or Eminem and Elton John, that's so fun and charming. :)

I think the She Hulk action scenes have definitely improved since Episode one with her and Brice, I think the episodes where she fought Titania and the Wrecking Crew were a bit down scaled due to VFX limitations.

I take it Titania's legal move is an attempt to prevent Jen from turning into She-Hulk. This sounds like a slam dunk for Matt Murdock.
but he's a criminal defense lawyer from another state, so he's probably not legally allowed to practice in CA, nor qualified as IP law is a completely different thing to criminal law.

This was definitely my favorite episode so far. Proper comedy format and I liked them dealing with the ugly complications of Jen’s She-Hulk life. And Madisynn & Wong are the duo I never knew I needed.

I enjoyed this episode a lot, but - and this might just be my lack of legal knowledge - found it odd that they were doing a cease and desist instead of trying to take Donny down on kidnapping.

Anything involving the lawyer/court stuff is so weird/bad. I really wish they did some research on Law when writing the show. But everything else besides those parts was pretty good

@@SubzeroBlack68 I do think Dan Slott did more with the legal procedural in the first four issues than the show has, and I don't think he did a ton of research. Charles Soule had an actual law education, I believe. The show could definitely benefit from a good legal consultant or a lawyer in the writers room, or even just adapting cases from the comics, but it is what it is. The courtroom seems to be more a vehicle for comedy bits than anything else. It's a slice of life sitcom about a lawyer and a character study of Jen more than it is a legal show so far, which is fine for what it is. Jessica Gao is more a fan of the John Byrne run, so that makes sense, since that was a very comedy-first run. I'm enjoying it either way. If it gets a second season, one can hope they lean harder into the legal procedural, since there's a lot of potential to be mined there.

The CGI in this one was so good on she-hulk.
I guess the closeup CGI looks good as it can show more details, but as soon as the shot is from a distance, it starts to feel bad, not their fault, female face doesn't have that many visible details from a distance so compared to Hulk, it looks bad from a distance, but the closeup shots are just so good.
To me her cgi looks great when she’s not in that lawyer suit

It always stuck with me that Strange was told in his first movie that the sling ring can open portals across the multiverse.
I believe this is the first example we've seen of it on-screen.
It's pointed out that dreamwalking will cause an incursion, but people can interact with other universes if they get there by other means. Afterall, the big green bull Rintah can train in 616 without issue.
Wanda removes Stranges sling ring before he falls into the multiverse in Doc Strange 2.
Question 1: If the sling ring can do what Wanda needed, why didn't Wanda just steal one (she did) and use it?
Question 2: why haven't we seen sling ringers from other multiverses? Are we to believe all practitioners of the mystic arts know not to do it?
Question 3: Why did the demon cgi look better than most of the she-hulk (patent pending...) scenes??
I can see why people don't like this show but I get what they're going for. It's new content at the end of the day and I didn't have hihh expectations for Angry McBeal (patent pending)

The issue with the whole court room scene not being explored too much in this show is due to the duration of the show being like 35 minutes long and focusing with scenes jump from one to next where it doesn't feel a smooth transition. What I like about the show is teasing how much of the audience want more of She-Hulk than Jen Walters, duality she is going through, not wanting to be She-Hulk constantly outside of work but not having that choice we get to see that in this episode. I think maybe if they extended the duration of each episode maybe to like 45 to 50 minutes it would help.

I loved how Wong was dancing to The Sopranos theme. I thought that was hilarious. Also, Jen's lock screen picture on her phone is Captain America's ass. It looks from that photo too that Cap is wearing his Age of Ultron outfit.
Also, when Wong closed that portal to that demon world and turned it into a whip, Donny Blaze sure thought that was cool. Felt very Ghost Rider. However, I get that we did not get Johnny Blaze in this episode, but what if Fiege is going to make that Donny Blaze actor the Ghost Rider of the MCU. He is sure fond of fire from when he opened his phone case, and when he had fire come from his wrists to dazzle the audience. Plus, the goat that had Madisynn sign that contract for could be Mephisto in disguise. Anyways, it is probably just a tease of Ghost Rider, not Donny Blaze becoming Ghost Rider.

It's so obvious the guys are trying the best they can to not bad mouth this show, for whatever reason.
I mean if you've really been in a court room. Then you know that not every case is going to take even an hour like they make it seem it most movies and shows. Most cases really are only 10-15 minutes depending on how big the case is. Unless it's a big one.
