These guys have great humor but there voices never suffer and have the best beatboxer please try HILLBILLY BONE heavy bass and done great or LOVE TRAIN just a good one if want just harmonies HELPLESSLY HOPING
They're still my favourite of all the a cappella groups. They just never miss. The Champagne song is fun. Another one I love but hardly ever hear is "Meet In The Middle". "Blue Ain't Your Colour"is also good. Ah Heck, they're all good. Crack on.

Great reaction to this mashup of songs. The Beatboxer is Adam Rupp co-founder of Home Free. His Brother Chris Rupp the other co-founder (he sang the Katy Perry song - I kissed a girl). He left the group after 2016 to do solo and other projects. He was replace by Adam Chance (goes by Chance to save confusion). Austin Brown high tenor and Tim Foust Bass round out the group. You will the chicken in a lot of their early videos, it was like a signature mascot for them. Their cover of Dire Straights Brother-in Arm highly recommended along with Amazed, Unchained Melody, When a Man Loves A Woman to name a few others. You Gentlemen have a great day.

The rooster thing kinda left with Chris in 2016. They had a (sometimes hidden) rooster in all videos then.
I love anything by Home Free. They really kept us entertained through quarantine.
I was not a huge country fan or an acapella fan. I'd seen them win the sing off in 2013. I rediscovered them during lockdown and have just fallen head over heels for them. They do so many amazing things, I can't get enough. So far you've hit on older songs, they had one member change in 2016. So glad you gave them another chance. Songs I never liked before I love by Home Free. Got to see them live and was completely blown away. Thanks again for a great reaction.

Austin Brown, front left, high tenor. I believe he did the arrangement for this mash-up. Tim Foust, front right, bass. Adam Rupp, rear left, beatboxer extraordinaire. I can recommend an interview Chris Rupp did with reactor QoFy last August. Chris is very candid in it explaining why he left HF and that he was not involved in the recruitment of Chance. The pertinent info is at the 33 minute mark of the interview.

Adam Rupp is the amazing vocal percussionist. Even better now than when this vid was made
Unchained Melody, Man of Constant Sorrow, When a Man Loves a Woman. They produced many videos when in quarantine, one of which was titled Quarantine. But actually any of their videos are great.
Their original music is good too. Dreamer or Snowglobe. Their take on John Denver's Take me home country roads is amazing too.

Tim Foust (bass) is from Texas; Austin Brown (high tenor) is from Georgia; Rob Lundquist (lead tenor), Chris (cowboy hat) and Adam Rupp (beatboxer) are all from Minnesota. When Chris Rupp left the group, his replacement Adam Chance (bass/baritone) is from Alabama.
Home Free is a remarkable group of extremely talented singers and musicians. Adam Rupp is the beatboxer by the way. His drum solo videos are awe inspiring.
The beatboxer is Adam Rupp and he is a world champion beatboxer several times over.
The one bottom left is high tenor Austin Brown.
Bass is Tim foust bottom right. Top right is Chris Rupp baritone Adam's brother. Adam and Chris started the vocal band over 20 years ago.
Chris has since left to go solo and Adam Chance has joined as the baritone.

This is such a fun mashup of songs. Very cleverly done from one song to another. I didn't know most of these songs. But I don't care as it is just so much fun to watch. The talent these guys have is phenomenal. They have so much fun but the vocals never suffer. And Adam's beatboxing is on another level.
Adam Rupp, the beat boxer, has a beautiful tenor voice. In " How Great Thou Art" that was filmed in Switzerland, he does a couple lines from "It is Well with My Soul" as a bridge in the middle. A beautiful rendition in a beautiful setting!

Yes, he has a really pretty tenor voice but doesn't have formal vocal training so he likes to stay in his lane and just do harmonies for the most part and very small solo bits.
To help put the names with the faces (because they're identified on-screen) perhaps do "Working for a Living" next. It's extremely funny - almost a mini-movie. It is a Huey Lewis and the News cover.

While on The Sing Off, Ben Folds told Adam, the beatboxer he was a good drummer because he didn’t put in unnecessary cymbals, etc. and he has stayed consistent with that throughout every song. He is so exceptionally good at tailoring the beatboxing for each song so that it doesn’t take away or over embellish it. HF is my favorite of all of the acapella groups. They are so clean they work so well together, each has a moment to shine and they balance the fun as well as the serious.

One way to learn their names is to watch their Sing-Off performances with the judges' comments. The judges mention most of them by name during the competition.

The rooster always appeared in the early videos. It was one of their first gifts from a fan so they made it special.

A couple of the early songs for many reactors are End of the Road (Boys II Men cover) and Man of Constant Sorrow. I don't see them on your playlist yet, so I'm guessing you haven't reacted to those two. They will give you a feel for two of the very different genres they cover. Can't Stop the Feeling, Never Gonna Give You Up, and Spaceship are also great songs from them.

Great reaction! Try When A Man Loves A Woman to hear the beautiful sky high voice of Austin and then try Brother In Arms to hear Tim (Bass) and Chance (Baritone/Bass) take it down to the depths with their wonderful vocals. Both have the most amazing harmonies, and Adam (beatboxer) gets a workout in the first one.
Found your channel this morning and I am watching all of your Home Free reactions, having a great time !!!! I am suprised no one has reccomended "How Great Thou Art" for a complete change of pace. Also love "IN The Blood" and "Take Me Home Country Roads".

If I remember right when this medley came out they said there was 17 songs in the mix. I might be wrong, so don't quote me on that. They are fantastic on their mashups, you should react to Thinking Out Loud/Let's Get it on it's one of their older ones but still one of my favorites. For a purely country song try their mashup of Woman, Amen/Female. This one has Adam Chance in it, he joined when Chris Rupp left the group. Great reaction guys, keep them coming!!!

Absolutely adore Home Free. Have to have them in my ears, my heart and my mind every day. They make magic with whatever they do. Their funny stuff is cool, but try out their more traditional, serious stuff I promise you will love it. Adam Rupp is a world class beat boxer and his solo videos are electrifying and exciting. All four of the other guys are stellar vocalists in a class of their own.

Chris Rupp usually had a cowboy hat on and has now retired. Adam Rupp is the beatboxer, Rob Lundquist is the bearded fella, the dark, longer haired guy is Tim Foust who now has short gray streak, and the ginger guy is Austin Brown. The newest guy is dark short hair and that's Adam Chance, just called Chance so no mixup with the other Adam. Yes, Workin for a Living shows all the guys with their names. It's funny too!! 😄

All of them can sing, all of them can do some beatboxing. Adam Rupp the beatboxer, puts vocals in every now again. Austin Brown is 1st Tenor, he’s the one hitting all the high notes. Rob Lundquist is 2nd Tenor, he’s in the glasses, Chris Rupp is Adams brother, he’s in the cowboy hat and he and his brother were the founders of the group. Chris left to pursue his career. Tim Foust also sitting is bass/baritone and can go five octaves higher. Adam Chance who is not in this is also bass/baritone and has a really nice upper register.

They are at the top of they’re game in a cappella groups. It doesn’t get any better!!

Adam on the left in back founded Home Free with his brother Chris Rupp on the right in back (cowboy hat). Just so you know, Chris left the band in 2016 to go solo and was replaced by Chance in newer videos. They can all sing and they all take the lead depending on the song. I've heard them described in several ways. Bizarre is a new one! But in a good way! 😄 But as you would say, fair play, because this is an unusual mix of songs. Agreed, you definitely can't pigeonhole them!.

Home Free Musts: Man of Constant Sorrow, End of the Road, Mayday--in that order. There are many more, but those three will fill in some gaps that I think you've been missing. Austin Brown is the lead tenor. Rob Lundquist (beard) is low tenor. Adam Rupp is the beatboxer. He has a music performance degree in trumpet and occasionally he sings. He's the only remaining original member and is the brother of Chris Rupp, founder of the group, who has moved on to other musical pursuits. Adam Chance, baritone with an impressive bass, took Chris Rupp's place--I think in 2016. Tim Foust is the bass with an amazing range. Thanks for giving them more attention and for deciding that they are not barbershop.

Adam the beatboxer and co-founder of Home Free with his brother Chris (the one with hat on) is considered the best beatboxer. He can make all kinds of sounds and prefers to beatbox instead of singing. There are two songs where he sings along but has never done a solo.
Adam Rupp and his brother, Chris, are original members, Adam can sing and also has a 5 plus octave range.

Actually I believe your info is correct but a little different…the producer asked them to consider using the angle of being a Country A Capella group after hearing one of their audition songs…almost guaranteeing a spot.

If you want to get away from the music for a bit Home Free has a series of hmmm, let's call them behind the scenes videos and videos that show a bit of their personal lives at home and on tour. Look up Home Free Home Away From Home and you'll get a list of about 40 videos. Some are them coming back together after quarantine at the different venues and meeting fans. Some of them are meeting the guys' families and seeing their childhood homes. One of my favorites videos, Southerner in the Snow has Tim driving to Minnesota to Adam's house. I also love the series of videos that Tim with various friends and family members did called Minnesota Eats, Nashville Eats, Texas Eats (parts 1-3), and Oddities and Eats.
Have you done American Pie yet? And check out Austin Brown's "Bring Him Home". Also, Unchained Melody and When a Man Loves a Woman. Chris Rupp was replaced by Adam Chance about 4 years ago. Check out his, "Cover Me Up" or "Some Girls Do". Lots to choose from. Done any Gospel stuff yet?

Another essay coming up, so apologies in advance.
I find this really difficult, and it's absolutely a fault of mine and NOT these guys (who are fabulous). My problem is that I've heard most of these songs in other medleys by another group, and as a huge fan of the other group, it's hard to not have a bias. I'm always open to new stuff, but it's kind of natural to prefer something that you already love if you know what I mean.
I've touched on this before with the Disturbed version of Sound of Silence. On any given day that is a spectacular version of the song, but as I was wowed so much by the band I will not mention, they kind of spoiled it for other versions. So I definitely think that timing plays a huge factor when it comes to whether you love something or not.
As for this, it's a 10 for talent, fun and entertainment, but an 8.5 for the song. I think the fact that country isn't really my thing doesn't help. Like Voiceplay, I really like these guys though. So thumbs-up from me!

As a fun song this was a good one and they sure have great voices.
