I haven't played SWAT4 for 15 years, and I have played a lot of modern trip A shooting games during this period and when I picked it up last week I realised that it is still the best.
yes i still have it. I played for over 10 years since 2015. But now i don't play it anymore because only one VİP Server is active. 10 years ago you could play VİP Modus 24 hours. I 've played it from nıght till morning.
you can still play it you know. the single player and multiplayer. buy it on gog or ya know pirate it and the multiplayer works fully. the server browser no longer works but you can just use swat4stats.com, game ranger, play with your friends via their ip address (its safe ip addresses change), or go through the effort of fixing the server browser yourself by editing some txt files.
there's only been a few games that i can play over and over again. This is now one of them. I like the fact that the location of hostages/suspects is different every time that you play it. Liked it so much i went to GS and got it preowned. SUPER AWESOME game!
I never played a game that just kept having me coming back for more. This game is a gem! Terrific game play!! Great realism. Very addictive. Wouldn't mind a Swat 5 if Sierra would ever consider it. In short this game STILL KICKS ASS !!! And it's almost five years old. Absolutely superb and highly recommended !!!

I found out recently that there is a game being developed now. It's called Takedown and the developer is Serellan. Hopefully it does well and serves as an example that tactical shooter's aren't dead
This game manages to make a fully armed game about SWAT team feel intense and can be scary sometimes. I get more jump scares in this game than any horror game!
@@chromaticturtle8657 yes, it's very good actually. But, imo due to SWAT4 being limited by its time I feel that gives you the scary game feels. I like it! This comes from a guy who likes old games, I don't play much newer game, only Star Wars: Battlefront 2 (2017) that stuck around
@Russian601 Nope, it's Fields, 100% sure try playing the multiplayer COOP with his voice (you can select it in options) spam F few times and you will it trust me, just for you I viewed the game voices in the swat editor =D
@MithrasNL I don't know about that video card but other than that you should be able to. That game isn't demanding at all it runs fine on almost all systems.
well Irrational Games is working on a new original game series. and because 2k Marin is working on an a new X-com game and haves future plans for bioshock 3 the only 2 open slots are system shock 3 or swat 5 they just said that they where working on a original series....... so Irrational Games could be working on either system shock 3 or swat 5

@guitarg0d7007 In this game you get points for NOT killing the enemies, you want to make them surrender by yelling get down on the ground! with f or shooting there leg, tazeing them or pepperspraying them and then telling them to surrender. This game was made in 2006 so unless you have a VERY crappy computer it should beable to run it.

Taking a shit requires more teamwork than CS. Everybody is just running around exactly like in CoD and BF. And all good or well known games require skill. Every game can profit from teamwork, but the games where it is required are mostly gone nowadays. Gaming market is full of 12yr olds who don't give a shit about earning their teammate a few points.
