I finally figured out what was wrong with run time on my Vorteks 3s BLX. It was the LVC on the ESC being set way to high from the factory. If you update to the new firmware from December 2023 you can set the LVC to 3.4v (which it should have been originally) and it fixes the run time/LVC issue. Kinda lame it took that long though to get the firmware to fix the issue. I would still definitely suggest another car for beginners though as you don't wanna have to fuck with that shit right out of the box lol
For $330 it’s definitely the best 3S car out, in my opinion. But I definitely wouldn’t have it on this list as a “best basher”. 1/10 scale is too little and doesn’t weigh enough to keep it on the ground.

The fact that the maxx (not X) didn’t make the list is criminal.. It’s the most reliable and fun basher out there box for the money out there. With that being said my next purchase will be the Kagama. Been hearing great things about that 😊
