Hands down the best channel available to watch at the moment. I get deliveries from your store rather than drive to stores 10min from my house!! Thanks for putting all this effort I know its not easy!
TattooedDancer91 one day.. I’m sure we will be ready to divulge the secrets of the prop room ;) We don’t usually let anyone in there, it’s usually cooking up some top secret stuff!
Thank you so much for the positive feedback, stoked you took the time to comment. We are grateful to be able to share our passion and experiences with hobbyists worldwide 😍 -Ania
That’s super interesting about being able to take a branch and lay it down - I always thought a growing tip was required to be upright. Looking forward to seeing an update on these. 👍🏻👍🏻 I learn something from every one of your videos!
I found by accident that the sideways placement does increase the growth speed on branching corals. It shows very quickly on a Milka Stylo for example, with white spots appearing simultaneously all over the horizontal branch.
Great video. We get educated and watch an experiment on growth rates. Go Dallas where ever you are :-) learned new term, “coral sausage” ... Nice “blind baster” moves to flush glue off frags, seasoned professional 👍
Alberto Amigon me too! I’ve never performed this kind of experiment on Acro Frags but have always been curious of replicating the information AIMS research at SeaSim :) Results should be up in no time ☺️ Ania
Great video as always Ania 👌 As i was watching i was thinking about that exact talk at Maca, and then there you go sharing the secret sauce 😅 was sitting next to the guy who spoke and he had some interesting ideas. Have tried this once with a blue stag but cut in half on the saw and it went rather well 😁 ahh good old Franky
Thank you so much! We did actually export some Dallas Frags last year to LA via Unique Corals to Jake Adams so hopefully that will be an avenue for this variant to become shared amongst US Reefers also.
Coral Addict thank you so much! There are even pieces of this we sent to LA via Unique Corals so maybe one day soon more people can enjoy it globally! Am currently 35 weeks pregnant so.. maybe about 3 weeks left.
Well done Ania. Most people I have known would be barely be standing at 35 wks pregnant. As they say, you have a glow. Best of luck with the next few weeks.
We totally agree! American Reefers that have visited our prop room also commented as such, but all confirmed it wasn’t quite the same. We managed to get some Dallas exported last year to LA via Unique Corals and to Jake Adams, so hopefully it will slowly be shared around US Reefers soon too!
@@GalleryAquaticaTV Yeah the more I look at it, there's just something different. Not sure if it's the coralite structure or the area between the coralites not being green, but it just seemed too coincidental that there's also a really fast growing acropora that's green and slimes up a bunch if you touch it :D
nornicle2 hi! Thanks for the question. The Sideways ones grew a lot better! Far more encrusted tissue and also formed more of the Axial coralites to create branches
Ashley Stanyer sorry if I hurt your ears! It’s incredibly loud in that Prop room with all the pumps and water flow. We do hope to get a swanky microphone system one day 😊 - Ania
Great video. Nice tips. Interested to see the difference
WOW - such a delight to watch! So intelligent and bubbly.
Very informative and beautiful too!
You are awesome and great video!
Burt Minshew thank you so much for the kind words! Means so much to us. Wishing you a happy and prosperous 2020!

NATAL B REEFING thank you so much for your support. You are beyond kind.
It’s always such a pleasure when we get to have you visit in person! :)
Lovely demonstration and history lesson. Could we get a tour of that room? Those large troughs look extremely enticing :D

Awesomeness!..
Reef Leader thank you so much for the compliment! I am excited to determine if there’s a difference in the two methods.

Gallery Aquatics Rocks 💪👏🤩👍
Any updates on coral growth between laying it down and growing straight up?
The frags are definitely ready for the update, we just have to arrange the filming. Hopefully in the next 2-3 weeks...
@@GalleryAquaticaTV more update vid plz

What was the light they where under at the end
Hi Jamie,
At the end we placed these under Hydra 52 HD, output PAR level is between 240-320 PAR across that rack.
@@GalleryAquaticaTV they look amazing under the light

Was going to say, that looks similar to the "Green Slimer" that we have over here.
