I was cringing watching Cam's toes being so close to that cabinet when putting it on the trailer! A lot of heavy breathing on this one! Well done guys, epic job. Thanks for sharing.
Glad to see you resumed the Sandi just moved my 525 G2 and so many people advised me to start out with new sand. You guessed it, my tank cycled anew and my fish/corals really suffered. If I did it all over, I’d do what you did.
I've previously just removed a half of the old sand and turn it in to bio media then add some new sand to display for that new look with out the new problems.
I work with furniture relocation, in the past I have used the same glass sucker as you to move cabinets, works the same as glass, give it a try and see how you get on, I've been watching you for years and I worry about your backs, like mine I guess I probably to late but the sucker idea might help in the future. Great show love it, you guys are great.Colin 🏴
Job very well done i was consernded for all your fingers and toes so many times..bring out the steel caps..and your mattress straps might be good for future jobs to help with under cabinets.🦈🐡🐠🐟🐙🐠
Literally just did this last weekend with my 525 XL, bull busting job , also the feet thing was the post painful for me, really did me in mentally & found it frustrating getting it level , touch wood think all is good. Pat ok the back all 👍🏻👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Great job! I was wondering... have you reused the sand? And if that's the case, have you cleaned it? I'll have to move my tank in a couple of months and I've learned a lot with this video! Thx guys!!!
We did reuse the sand. I prefer to keep it so you’ve got the beneficial bacteria in the new location, but I do like to give it a rinse in seawater so it doesn’t cloud the water too much. Cam
I want to move my RedSea Reefer 525 literally like 10-12ft to another position but am deathly afraid to cause any issues with the seams that RS is notoriously known for. Not to mention re aquascaping, but I could use a reaquascaping on the left side of the tank anyway lol.
We gave the sand a quick rinse in seawater. We didn’t use any additives as the process we follow keeps practically all the good bacteria so any ammonia spike is mild and short. Cam
They are labeled NFK but I don’t think that’s the manufacturer. They’re rated to 300kg each and I do believe they are a particularly good type of glass grip. Cam
thank you Cam for always taking the time to answer questions. i live about 400km away and only been in your shop a couple of times and the staff is just as helpful thank you
@streetfightervsxenoverse1832 just been having a hard time keeping my salinity with the current tank... its a freshwater tank with a shadow box.... so I told my fish guy if I was gonna get reef ready I was going with a bigger tank... was looking for a 220g but kept getting out bid on market place got lucky and a personal friend in NY that an importer just so happened to be selling a 336g.
@@hermeticmoon8448 Nice lucky you , Guess it's true no matter how big of a tank you have , you are always going to eventually wanna go bigger. Good luck
Like your videos alot but don’t you own socks sneakers etc it’s a foot and toe show with you mate 😂😂😂 it would seam to be a lot safer to cover your feet especially when moving heavy articles unless your from India wear they practically eat with there feet😊

Even I was cringing at the bare feet during the lifting. I definitely should have wore my steel caps…
@@GalleryAquaticaTV No workers comp for the boss hahaha
I literally felt a hernia POP watching the tank move…😳
Well done you guys to relocating the tank safely 👏
Thanks, we didn’t lose a single fish or coral or appendage😂 Cam
@@GalleryAquaticaTV yeah I saw

Lots of puffing and grunting but a great job well executed 👍

I do own steel caps, it probably was a job for them… Cam
A really good job 👏
Wow 😮 love what you guys did excelente work now I have and idea if I ever have to do the same great job 👏
Thanks! We are very happy with how it went (now it’s all over). Cam
Btw, complements on a great job!

The video didn’t show the true extent of my frustration at the feet. Luckily Rory saved the day before I blew my top. Cam

Was the same sand used ?
Yes. We have it a rinse in seawater then put it back in. Cam

Great job. How much do you charge for this? Ballpark is fine…Just curious.
Relocations are normally between $1k and $3k depending on the job. Cam
Did you do anything special with the sand before you reused it or additives or cycling to compensate for any ammonia spikes or anything else?
We gave the sand a quick rinse in seawater. We didn’t use any additives as the process we follow keeps practically all the good bacteria so any ammonia spike is mild and short. Cam
What brand of glass clamps do you use , i have a huge 7 foot to move and i want to make sure that the clamps hold regards

What about the apex and the chiller
I know! I forgot to mention that. It’s behind the tank under the stairs. We’ll go back k one day and show the whole workings. Cam
About to move from a 90 to a 336 this week perfect timing
Nice! There should be some good tips in this video applicable to your job. Cam
That's a massive upgrade , What's wrong with your 90 gallon tank that makes you wanna upgrade?
@streetfightervsxenoverse1832 just been having a hard time keeping my salinity with the current tank... its a freshwater tank with a shadow box.... so I told my fish guy if I was gonna get reef ready I was going with a bigger tank... was looking for a 220g but kept getting out bid on market place got lucky and a personal friend in NY that an importer just so happened to be selling a 336g.

@streetfightervsxenoverse1832 thanks man I think 336g will be as big as im going lol
probably would have been cheaper to dump the tank and get a new one delivered?
You’d still need to move the fish and coral, plus the tank is worth much more than the move. 4 people relocations are expensive though. Cam
No toes were harmed in the making of this video.

Shit it’s a harmless Fidel Castro!
I was going for Jason Momoa😂
