    My husband and I both went on the Whole 30 and feel so good we will never go back to sugar. No more Ibuprofen for aches and pains, no more desperate cravings in between meals. Sugar free bacon and eggs WOW. Sugare Free chicken sausage and eggs with veges. Thanks for reminding us of all the good stuff at TJ"s

    Love the way this video cuts to showing the shelf in the store for the pricing! I'm always curious when people share food items but not pricing what the numbers were, so thanks!

    Great items, I use every single one of those! Even though I'm not technically on whole 30 anymore I still try to buy clean now! I avoid soy at all costs because I'm a breast cancer survivor! The absolute hardest broth to find compliant is beef broth as they all have soy! Thanks for sharing!

    They also have Riced cauliflower in the frozen section for even cheaper I believe! :)

    • @mrsdls
      @mrsdls 7 років тому

      It’s $1.99 for 12 ozs for the frozen cauliflower rice in the vegetable section! I’m not sure if that works out to cheaper than the fresh stuff. But it is organic cauliflower.

    • @FatherDuck80
      @FatherDuck80 7 років тому +1

      The fresh is cheaper by like 1 cent per ounce. However, I love the frozen option because I know that I'll sometimes forget to cook the fresh cauliflower and it just goes bad.

    • @mrsdls
      @mrsdls 7 років тому

      Steven S I agree! I just buy frozen for convenience. I tried making it myself once. It was a mess!

    First time watching your video and really enjoyed. Was looking at Whole30 plan and Keto and saw your video.
    Would like to know how the two differ...besides no butter on Whole30.

    • @livewelljess
      @livewelljess  6 років тому

      I think the premises of the two diet plans are entirely different. Whole30 is very focused on clean eating - no counting of protein/carbs/fats. That's why I enjoy this way of eating! Less to keep track of. Keto requires carefully tracking protein/carbs/fats, and it allows things you wouldn't eat on a Whole30 diet, such as sugar free sweeteners and dairy. The goal with the keto diet is to get your body into ketosis to burn fat more efficiently, whereas I see Whole30 as a nutritional reset filled with clean, whole foods.

    Doctors say to avoid broccoli and cauliflower when you have hashimotos so I’m not sure how you are eating cauliflower rice ? Or is it cause the veggies are cooked ?

    • @livewelljess
      @livewelljess  6 років тому

      I filmed this last year before my diagnosis. 😁 However, I do still consume cruciferous vegetables, but primarily cooked. The goitrogens that cause problems in cruciferous vegetables are inactivated by cooking.

    The TJ’s coconut aminos is not whole30 compliant. It has added sugar.

    • @livewelljess
      @livewelljess  6 років тому +7

      Thanks for your comment! The Whole30 website explicitly states, "Coconut aminos are an exception to the 'no sugar added' rule (and continue to be permissible on the program). You can find more information on that here: whole30.com/2017/03/chips-and-aminos/

      melissa berthiaume whole 30 is a reset diet. It is intended for a person to reintroduce regular diet carefully to understand how it affects your body. It’s more about “food freedom” than anything else.

      The Whole 30 is a strict, elimination diet that you do for 30 days for many reasons (lose weight, determine which foods might be causing inflammation or allergies, etc) that's working for many folks. You can buy the book at amazon (or just about any bookstore) and I believe there is a Whole 30 website, too.
