Alyssia I got a question, is there a difference between organic and non organic eggs--in the way of more appreciative. In my fam it is only organic eggs. For eating and cooking. Which one is better?
I can't believe you get any hate on your channel. I've been watching you for years, you do such a great job. Always creative ideas, always inspires me to eat nutritiously, simply and on a budget. Keep on keeping on!
haha yassss!! I actually buy her food now, but I'm very picky since she is sick. It's human grade fresh made dog food, but I have made her food in the past and still do on occasion :)
Perfect timing! I’m doing a whole 30 round starting June 1! I do the same with the avocado plus... once you cut one in half rub the half with the pit in it with lime juice not lemon juice and store fave down in a container and it won’t turn brown for days! Onion tip to not cry ... store them in your fridge and don’t cut the root end off while chopping! Thank you for your videos! Love them and you❤️
Loved getting to see what really works for you as far as meal prep and grocery shopping goes! Would love to see your pantry, and even like - a behind the scenes real life view of what you are really cooking on any given night!
Hi there, if you have an air fryer you can actually boil your eggs and they come out perfect. I just place a dozen in the container-no water needed. I use 260 degrees for 16 minutes. You may have to adjust by a few degrees or a minute or two for your liking. Then I just pull the basket out and let cool on the counter then move to the fridge. Most times they peel easily and I just save the egg carton they come in and write on the outside HB for hard-boil 18:0518:05 . Hope that helps. And thank you for all the tips.
My husband and I are able to embark on paleo, so this was really helpful. We kinda decided on a whim so there's still Greek yogurt in the fridge and oatmeal in the pantry. So we'll transition into it. A whole foods diet is the ultimate goal.
Hi Allysia🤗I really like all your videos👍This one just gave me more inspiration on what to keep prepped for a relaxing weekend or busy week. Those veggie prepped foil packets are A Great Idea any time or day.Love your channel💗I would like more like this and pantry tours as well.Stay Creative and take a break every now and then. You deserve it🙄Thank You So Much for Sharing, see you on your next video🎥😊❤
Great Video! I would really like an equipment / kitchen appliance video. That fridge is gorgeous! And truth be told I have been eyeing your oven and stove when ever I can while you cook!
Mind Over Munch - You would be awesome at it! And the cost savings is amazing. I’ve tried red cabbage with apples, green cabbage and gingered carrots. Yum! It’s my chip replacement;)
I wish we had a Trader Joe's in Canada!!! You're groceries are so much cooler then here ha ha ha Love you and I'm very confused why you don't have 10 million subscribers or more!!!!!!!
honestly this fridge belongs to the owner of this house (we rent) so I didn't pick it out and it would not be my fridge of choice... I don't love the two separate sides for the freezer. We have another fridge outside for Mind Over Munch stuff so we use that freezer for more things. Hope this helps!
My husband and I are on day 30 of whole 30! Tomorrow is the start of reintroduction! Eager to see what the verdict is for our digestion. Also I still had some digestion issues (runs in my fam) while on whole 30,just wondering if anyone else experienced this. I do plan to see a doctor soon to get more insight.
oh my gosh that is so exciting!! Congratulations on your journey :) I would suggest checking out Melissa Hartwig's book Food Freedom Forever (the founder of whole30). She talks about ways to fine-tune the Whole30 reset if you still experience discomfort-you may need to remove nightshades, etc. and she offers many different options there!
You should make a roasted veggies wrap marinated in balsamic vinegar, olive oil and garlic and when cool sprinkle any type of cheese like feta. Here is a tip, my grandfather used to drink garlic water that used to lower his blood sugar
1. Would love more food tours of the kitchen. 2. I'm hoping my sister gets some ideas. Of all the eating styles out there, I think Whole30 would best suit her because of allergens and her desire to leave things out.
Alyssia you are looking gorgeous as ever 😍 I feel like I’ve missed your videos and really enjoyed this one. Can you give examples of the grocery stores you buy these products (other than the obvious Trader Joe’s lol)? I have never seen a lot of these brands or products before but would love to try them
thank you :) I really appreciate it!! I usually shop at Sprouts, Trader Joes, my local co-op, the Farmers Markets, Ralphs (kroger), and occasionally Whole Foods for items I can't find else where :)
Thanks for another great video! Do you remember where you purchased the bone broth. I have not been able to find a 'ready-made' one that's any good...and while I KNOW I should make it from scratch...ya know..real life..... It'd be great to have something on hand in the freezer.
yes! That brand is so good and actually a few grocery stores around me have it... Whole Foods always has it and so does Bristol Farms (not sure if you have that near you), as well as my local co-op!
@@MindOverMunch Thank you. I am working on me. So I can get healthy and feel good. Not sure where to start. So many choices - Paleo, Whole 30, Keto. On and On. Just doing my research. So far, love your channel. Your recipes are easy to follow and I am cooking for others in my family. Thanks for all your help!
What a beautiful tour, Alyssia. You are a very loving individual when you make the right decisions for healthy food. What's your best tip for making flan? Take care of yourself, sweetie.
I wish we had packaged hard-boiled eggs in bulk packs where I live. We only have single ones, and it would be expensive to buy them often. I mean, boiling eggs by myself saves money and nature, but then again it’s not the most convenient thing to do 😬 edit: It’s also kinda uncommon to have pre-cut veggies in stores around here! Otherwise I don’t mind but broccoli would be neat since I keep finding it everywhere after weeks if I cut it myself.
My refrigerator has much of the same ingredients, but is not as organized. I have a husband who shoves things back in anywhere that there is a space. Your refrigerator looks like mine did while I was still single....LOL.
how long do you keep your cooked chicken thighs an ground turkey in the fridge for? i used to meal prep like that but then i read you should only keep those for 3 days! not sure how accurate that was. please respond! thank you!!!

You know I just love each and every video you do girl! But one question on this one....aren't sugar snaps still considered a legume? My biggest trigger is anything sweet, from the first taste I take a header off the whole30 wagon. Sugar is hard as heck to steer clear of. I'm pushing my way through my 2nd round. My first time through I stayed on for just under 2 months because I was afraid to start eating other foods. But this time around I've already stopped needing my stomach meds...two weeks is all it took. Thank you for your inspiration to keep going with new ideas. Maybe a tiny snack of coconut cream whipped with a couple strawberries? Mmmm. Keep doing you lady!
thank you! Whole30 says this about snap peas: "Green beans, sugar snap peas, and snow peas are allowed. While they’re technically a legume, these are far more “pod” than “bean,” and green plant matter is generally good for you." :)

Those chicken lime burgers from Trader Joe’s are soo good with avocado! 😊Yes a pantry tour would be wonderful. Love your videos!
awesome! Thank you :)
Mind Over Munch I made the chunky monkey breakfast muffins from a recent video and wow soo good! My mom even loved them! 😊
Do you eat them on lettuce? Been wanting to get them for whole 30 but not sure the best way to eat them :)
Megan Pevey I’ve never tried them that way but I’m sure it’s really good on lettuce wrap!
I’ve been making your mayo recipe ever since you posted that video. Such a game changer. Thanks for sharing this video, super helpful.
Can you do more budget meal preps?
yes :) Thanks for the request!
Thank you! Suggestion: video on how to make organic/paleo 30 more affordable. At this time, I am unable to afford 100% organic.

Alyssia any ideas for chewing gum alternative on whole 30 that isn't to chew on mint leaves or fennel seeds? Thank you in advance!
That mixed nut butter looks cool.. it's got to be pricey!
I can't recall the price but I think it was the same as the cashew butter. At Trader Joe's it tends to be more affordable than elsewhere!

for some things yes! But not for everything. I don't think their produce is cheaper but many of their packaged things are.

Its a shame that easy and convenient means tons of plastic packaging. Thank you for posting - just wish there was a better way.
