This was a really great talk that sadhguru gave. It made me think quite a bit. I am glad that I heard it because I really needed to hear this message. This helps me understand why my relationship was going down the well. I took a man that I met from a friend to go for a walk and something to eat ,the second day I went to spend time with him where he lived. When I arrived as he opened the door 🚪 there was just a worn down bed and no where to sit or eat he was poor but I really liked him after 5 months of getting to know him,I told him that I could feel sadness inside his room 😢 😔. He responded,how did you know that? I told him I could just feel the energy in the room. That very night I came to a decision and told him that I was getting a new apartment and asked him if he would like to live a new life and feel better and that I wanted to give him everything I could,love him with all that I can and then marry him. He left the room and moved into my home but he was secretly indecisive and he was still paying the rent for his room without telling me. Anyways he told me that he wanted to marry me. I responded that yes I want marriage and children,he looked very happy. Years went by and we were 6 years engaged. We had a baby and our baby died around Christmas,I became depressed 😔 because we both really wanted a baby. I was renting out the whole bottom of the 🏠 house known as a basement apartment in 🇨🇦 Canada. I paid for everything because I wanted him to feel loved and cared for. I bought him clothes,shoes,ACoat and fed him every day. I noticed when I got home he heavly smelt of alcohol on his breath ,I questioned him where he got the money for alcohol,he said that he found it 😏 🤣 lol anyways.... I told him that I quit drinking alcohol about a year before I met him and that part of my rules in my home is to communicate with me and not to bring alcohol into my home because I no longer wanted alcohol or drugs in my life or around me. Then the next month I found a secret phone he had and he was not being faithful to me. I took pictures with my phone of his texts and sexually related stuff, I asked him the next day if he still loves me,and he said yes and was asking me exactly what I just asked him ,he told me that I was overreacting. So I showed him every email,text messages,Facebook messenger replies with naked photos and his discussions with many women that he loves them and that they are "Hot" He denied it,but then I told him that I knew everything and every place he was going to when he was saposed to be working 😠 Then I found a used opened condom in his pants about to do the laundry and it was not from us as partners. The same night I found sexy Lingerie from a very skinny woman I found blonde long hairs on it 😥 that was not mine of course lol 😆. He told me he was working but he was not. He was paying rent for his old room so that he could be irresponsible with alcohol,use me,lie to me and live a double life. I was very niave thinking that helping this man and our love growing would last!!! No after the 6 years of being engaged to marry ,I told him to leave my home and never come back and that was the end of everything. I wanted to help this man out and give him a nice life and my helping nature in me only in the end hurt both of us. Anyways it was a big wake up call that there is something better arriving in my life .He was not Ready for such a Big Change that fast because he did not earn it and knew nothing about things that come fast can go away as fast . Anyways It was a very important lesson to be learned. At first I was sad but now I am happy about it.
Quite a story, the guy wasn't ready, and didn't deserved you clearly after of what he have to you. Not judge him anyway, everyone is on his evolutionary level! All the best finding someine who Will deserve you!

we have had system here where everyone have right to study, healthcare, house and food. Good stable society is good for all. Education is good for all. No homeless, little crime, no dying because you dont have money for cancer treatment. No unreachable university dream for poor people. It only works if you have people who have same moral values and possibilities because someone gives. We give taxes for this purpose now if you have shitty covernment, large number of people not willing to work for benefit of all, not willing to give and dont have same values...It doesnt work then. Education, unified people, good coverment, good moral system. You plant good seeds in good soil, take out the weeds, examine the plants and control nutrients and water. Let forces and nature do the rest. Good harvest is then possible. this works for individual and for society. this is ashtanga yoga.

Wow... I have been studying spirituality for over 2 decades in the West, and I have never heard this wisdom. If my mother or I had learned this, regarding the giving of our hearts to men that weren't evolved to receive them... what damage could have been avoided. In my culture women were raised to be giving, compassionate forgiving obedient no matter how unevolved or even abusive the man is. So grateful to be coming out of the gender dark ages.
Sadhguru I just want to say thank you for all that you do. In America they don’t teach us anything that we need to learn like how to exist in our body peacefully. Everything is absurd here nothing makes sense and I’ve stopped trying to understand how things got like this but anyways thank you thank you thank you. I’m forever grateful
America does not have this Ability yet ! What Sadhguru knows is from an experience in a place full of experiences in the collective universe for centuries .. America is still yet a child just living off of other experiences until it matures to it's experiences it can not give the experience such as that of what Sadhguru knows ..we can visit that in a thousand years ! Unfortunately I am American but I quite agree. I do not like it here. It's too materialistic. The self is what matters, your spiritual well being. I only wish I could live abroad in a country where things are basic. Ppl here don't know what true necessities are. It's truly sad.

Compassion comes from God. He puts it in our Hearts and when one is in tune with their Nature the urge to give is Divine, just as the River flowing. Giving with the clanging of cymbals and the banging of drums has nothing to do with compassion. Peace be with us all.

@@dasherviewed Sir: 1st it is a big responsiblity to discussed things like this to people, you would open up involuntary links between you and them (unless *). Kinda teacher student relationship once you have started it you must have to now assist those seekers in the path, make sure not to misled, mislead, misinterpret the subject. It is not just mere explanation that they need to understand it, there are things that has to be experience personally in order to understand the nature of certain phenomena, which cannot be shared no matter how intricate you conveyed it and how it works. Alot of people will not be able to comprehend the impressions you had unless they experience it by themselves, and this is rough mental training which take strict self discipline to follow. 2nd There are people who experience certain longing but the body is not yet ready so it strongly affects the mind too. Which like what the Guru here just said, it may create more harm than good. I cannot tell all of this here it will takes time. 3rd That's why you have your Guru there to explained things for the seekers of light. I find it’s important to hear what Sadhguru is *not* saying as well. He is not saying, for example, never to give to someone who asks because occasionally that person is indeed ready, and his sadhana is to ask. Just that we need to be conscious of our motivation - to be sure we’re doing what needs doing and nothing more.

Every person would have taken help or advice from another person at some point of time during his life-time. Some would have wasted it and others would have utilised it. In this materialistic world ' help' in kind or words or action is a necessity for so many, many people. Whether the receiver uses it to his benefit or otherwise, your act of help will remain, forever, an act of goodness and kindness. In the spiritual world, it is different. You can only help the person, who has sighted spirituality and understood it. But helping a person, who is not ready to turn spiritual, will be wasted. It might even recoil. One has to be careful as to whom he is trying to convey his knowledge, ideas and thoughts.

The fact of the matter is there's many people who just don't have mentally or physically what it takes to provide for themselves and I do think it's the nice thing to do to help them out when you can I don't think this because some God told me or because some group says to do it I just do it because it's the human thing to do if circumstances were different you could be in their shoes
Danam according to our culture and scriptures means only the basic needs. Food, clothing, education and medicine. Giving too much just because you have with a photo in news paper is rajasa dhanam as per bhagvatgita. This is done to show off. Giving dhanam to destroy some body or some one or some thing is tamasa dhanam. Rajasa dhanam and tamasa dhanam pull down a person to calamity. There is one more called satvik dhanam. Fulfilling only the basic needs and doing it anonymously. Giving not because you have but because you want to show gratitude to the universe. Dhanam as a gesture of gratitude is satvik dhanam. This is told in Bhagavat Gita. I felt like sharing.

@Sathya Maharajh true, competition develops between even abhyasis of a same practice under a guru. That is why it is very important to not share spiritual knowledge and experiences with fellow abhyasis. Even it is better not to share anything and keep a distance these days.

This may be off topic, but someone might find it interesting. Over unity electric generator. By AMA. Segment 1: 1 motor with bar connected to it standing vertically. Circular disc connected to bar that has magnets embedded in it surrounded in high permeability material to focus magnets outward pushing force in an upwards direction from top of disc. Segment 2: Hollowed out cylindrical Bar of material horizontally positioned. Flat hollowed out ring shaped material with openings around its outer top flat edge. Magnets surrounded in high permeability material embedded in these openings. Magnets positioned in openings around ring are in at least 1 of 2 configurations either all N magnetic field pushing out or N,S,N,S all around it. Just depends on whether your going for Piston structure or spinning structure explained below & whether you want it to be DC or AC current. Place these all along the cylindrical bar connected to it solidly, except at far ends of bar. At both ends of bar place ring of material that can be magnetically repelled in specific locations. (magnetically repelled in specific location is in reference to outside of ring area that faces away from center of bar)(Other side of same ring facing in towards center of bar is capable of being magnetically repelled all around) Ring must be connected solidly to bar. points of repulsion on these rings is off set from each other on each end of bar. 3 Hollow ring structures with small square bars protruding from each. Ring structure has all magnetic repulsion on inside of ring shape & can rap around the main bar so that the bar wont be causing friction on things as it moves back and forth or spins. 1st positioned around far left of bar, 2nd position at center of bar (be sure to leave enough room for magnetic structures to be able to move back and forth without hitting it) & 3rd positioned on far right of bar. Tube structure is constructed in two parts that fit together on top of each other length wise over main structure. Tube structure has 3 square openings for the bars that the Ring structures that are connected around the main bar keeping it from causing friction on structure, to slide into. This tube structure is designed with material that does not block magnetic fields. Perhaps some type of transparent material glass or other. At both ends of the tube structure there is a built in circular groove that will house a round disc. The ceiling/floor/left side/& right side of groove has openings for small magnets to be embedded in it, so that the pushing force from magnets is pushing in towards the edge of disc that goes in this spot. There is also 4 openings located on the top, bottom, left & right positions of the open groove. Small magnets are placed in these spots so when round disc is in position these magnetic fields will hit sideways keeping it from generating friction against structure. Far Ends of bar has Cap structure that screws over tube halves holding them together. Cap structure also has 4 points on inside top, bottom, left & right that have openings. These openings have small embedded magnets in them that exert there pushing force outwards (sideways) so it will keep disc in position, generating no friction against structure. Cap is made of material like tube so it does not block magnetic fields. (Note: These magnets in groove and cap structure are only needed for piston design. If Disc is directly connected to main bar so as it spins the bar spins, magnets are not needed here). The disc has ring around it (ring of material goes around outer edge and folds over front side & backside a small distance) that is repelled by magnetic fields so the 12 small magnets will keep it lined up but it will be able to spin without causing friction on structure. The disc has openings on it's flat side that face inside of tube and magnets surrounded in high permeability material are embedded in this disc. The disc has small bar that is connected to it's center that goes all the way to the other end of bar structure through the center of the hollowed out bar and connects to disc on other end. Disc on other end is set up the same but magnets embedded in it are off set in comparison. As first disc spins the magnetic fields will push against specific spot on disc connected directly to bar, pushing bar in other direction, once bar is fully pushed over, further spinning of disc will then align the other sides magnet to push it back. Tube structure also has half moon shaped protrusion on inside and on both halves so when tube is connected they line up to make a full ring shape on inside of tube, these half moon shaped protrusions have at least 1 small round opening on it's side in middle of curve that faces away from center of bar. The opening has a small magnet embedded in it so magnetic force is repelling out sideways away from center of bar. The protruding ring is positioned to line up slightly further in towards center of bar then the ring of magnetically repelled material connected directly to bar. This way when bar moves right or left it is magnetically stopped after a short distance. Copper coil setup: Copper coils are wound in at least 1 of 2 ways. Either coiled in circles next to each other (Like if you wound coils around a cylindrical bar) or laid out in a row as if wire was on flat table going up then bent to go down & back up until it formed a flat rectangle of wire bending up and down and then the entire structure folded around tube. Copper windings are then lined up perpendicular to magnetic fields on outside of tube. Ends of copper coils are connected into separate construct that will allow electrical current to flow somewhere else. Circular construct is built like a stand that goes around the outside of motor segment. Circular construct has flat ring of high permeability (magnetic field shielding) material that has small openings that will allow magnetic fields through specific locations. Top of circular construct has groove to allow the horizontal bar to balance on. Circular construct can also be placed on other end of bar so it is balanced. The motor segment is positioned so the disc connected to the bar that is connected to the motor is lined up so the disc passes under the horizontal bars disc that is at end of horizontal bar. The high permeability material keeps the magnetic fields in disc from hitting into the disc that spins or pushes the horizontal bar until just the right moment when the impact will cause the disc in horizontal bar to spin which will perpetuate the piston motion in the horizontal bar. More horizontal bars of the same design are built and positioned around the motor segment in a circular horizontal fashion all the way around. The bar connected to the motor can be increased in length to desired height (As much as motor can handle) and more of the exact same setup is repeated higher and higher up, maximizing the over unity potential of the construct to ridiculous proportions. :D Current from the horizontal bars is diverted to power the motor as needed and all other current is diverted to power my game console or the world. :) Interesting variation to this design would be to connect the spinning discs on far ends of horizontal bar to main bar that magnets are connected to so the magnets spin instead of getting pistoned back and forth. So long as moving magnetic fields are perpendicular to copper wires it should work. By AMA

I truly believe that creating images - such as the ant - has the ludic ability to enter into the wisdom of even the most stubborn human hearts. As for compassion, I needed to learn again, that this also has his own shadow side. It may indeed get to unwanted effects of contra productivity, amongst others; it may interfere in the way the other needs to evolve, emotionally, spiritually, intellectually into the fragility of maturity. I thought that giving all the time was my duty. I thought I was smart by sharing all what I considered worthy to be knowed to anyone. The truth is that 95% of the people never wanted what I, with effort in the details, shared indiscriminately. I was showing off while thinking I was being "Prometeic" and selfless. I thought I was being nice. But how stupid one can be to give to those who don't want while being impulsed by selfish reasons desguised as compassion? I will try my best not to think that I'm wise. The result is realizing the complete opposite. Is this comment an attempt to do what I just said I won't do, but in a subtler disguise? Mind is always confused.
You don't give anesthetics to a child who's hand is currently on a hot stove; you give him to the enlightening experience of pain, which gives him the awareness to remove the hand himself.
That sounds like abuse, not love. No one can avoid pain. We all have had so much of it already. Pain itself does not teach; in fact pain can teach the wrong things.

They do not need pain, only heat. Same with adults. Show them the consequences while still helping. The rain falls on the just and unjust alike.

He is talking about dangers of compulsive givings. Suppose you witness a beggar on the street. If you give him money he will probably buy alcohol or cigarettes with this money or buy some food or medicine according to his needs and wants. The key is not to jumb into conclusion with your prejudiced mind. Just observe with all your mindfulness, without any thoughts, without any interference from your self. Then you will see what is needed (if any). Then you can see if he really needs food or a haircut or a hug or money or nothing. Just observe without evaluation, you will get answer of everything.
If you give him money is NON OF YOUR BUSINESS for what he will gone use... are you HIS CREATOR to think you got any rights over him ? ... give the money or dont give, THE REST IS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESD

we have had system here where everyone have right to study, healthcare, house and food. Good stable society is good for all. Education is good for all. No homeless, little crime, no dying because you dont have money for cancer treatment. No unreachable university dream for poor people. We give taxes for this purpose now if you have shitty covernment, large number of people not willing to work for benefit of all, not willing to give and dont have same values...It doesnt work then. Wow... I have been studying spirituality for over 2 decades in the West, and I have never heard this wisdom. If my mother or I had learned this, regarding the giving of our hearts to men that weren't evolved to receive them... what damage could have been avoided. In my culture women were raised to be giving, compassionate forgiving obedient no matter how unevolved or even abusive the man is. So grateful to be coming out of the gender dark ages.

1st it is a big responsiblity to discussed things like this to people, you would open up involuntary links between you and them (unless *). Kinda teacher student relationship once you have started it you must have to now assist those seekers in the path, make sure not to misled, mislead, misinterpret the subject. It is not just mere explanation that they need to understand it, there are things that has to be experience personally in order to understand the nature of certain phenomena, which cannot be shared no matter how intricate you conveyed it and how it works. Alot of people will not be able to comprehend the impressions you had unless they experience it by themselves, and this is rough mental training which take strict self discipline to follow.
2nd There are people who experience certain longing but the body is not yet ready so it strongly affects the mind too.

I find it’s important to hear what Sadhguru is *not* saying as well. He is not saying, for example, never to give to someone who asks because occasionally that person is indeed ready, and his sadhana is to ask. Danam according to our culture and scriptures means only the basic needs. Food, clothing, education and medicine. Giving too much just because you have with a photo in news paper is rajasa dhanam as per bhagvatgita. This is done to show off. Giving dhanam to destroy some body or some one or some thing is tamasa dhanam. Rajasa dhanam and tamasa dhanam pull down a person to calamity. There is one more called satvik dhanam. Fulfilling only the basic needs and doing it anonymously. Giving not because you have but because you want to show gratitude to the universe. Dhanam as a gesture of gratitude is satvik dhanam. This is told in Bhagavat Gita. I felt like sharing.

Over unity electric generator. By AMA.
Segment 1: 1 motor with bar connected to it standing vertically. Circular disc connected to bar that has magnets embedded in it surrounded in high permeability material to focus magnets outward pushing force in an upwards direction from top of disc.
Segment 2: Hollowed out cylindrical Bar of material horizontally positioned.
Flat hollowed out ring shaped material with openings around its outer top flat edge.
Magnets surrounded in high permeability material embedded in these openings.
Magnets positioned in openings around ring are in at least 1 of 2 configurations either all N magnetic field pushing out or N,S,N,S all around it. Just depends on whether your going for Piston structure or spinning structure explained below & whether you want it to be DC or AC current.
Place these all along the cylindrical bar connected to it solidly, except at far ends of bar.
At both ends of bar place ring of material that can be magnetically repelled in specific locations. (magnetically repelled in specific location is in reference to outside of ring area that faces away from center of bar)(Other side of same ring facing in towards center of bar is capable of being magnetically repelled all around) Ring must be connected solidly to bar. points of repulsion on these rings is off set from each other on each end of bar.
3 Hollow ring structures with small square bars protruding from each. Ring structure has all magnetic repulsion on inside of ring shape & can rap around the main bar so that the bar wont be causing friction on things as it moves back and forth or spins. 1st positioned around far left of bar, 2nd position at center of bar (be sure to leave enough room for magnetic structures to be able to move back and forth without hitting it) & 3rd positioned on far right of bar.
Tube structure is constructed in two parts that fit together on top of each other length wise over main structure.
Tube structure has 3 square openings for the bars that the Ring structures that are connected around the main bar keeping it from causing friction on structure, to slide into.
This tube structure is designed with material that does not block magnetic fields. Perhaps some type of transparent material glass or other.
At both ends of the tube structure there is a built in circular groove that will house a round disc. The ceiling/floor/left side/& right side of groove has openings for small magnets to be embedded in it, so that the pushing force from magnets is pushing in towards the edge of disc that goes in this spot. There is also 4 openings located on the top, bottom, left & right positions of the open groove. Small magnets are placed in these spots so when round disc is in position these magnetic fields will hit sideways keeping it from generating friction against structure.
Far Ends of bar has Cap structure that screws over tube halves holding them together. Cap structure also has 4 points on inside top, bottom, left & right that have openings. These openings have small embedded magnets in them that exert there pushing force outwards (sideways) so it will keep disc in position, generating no friction against structure. Cap is made of material like tube so it does not block magnetic fields. (Note: These magnets in groove and cap structure are only needed for piston design. If Disc is directly connected to main bar so as it spins the bar spins, magnets are not needed here).
The disc has ring around it (ring of material goes around outer edge and folds over front side & backside a small distance) that is repelled by magnetic fields so the 12 small magnets will keep it lined up but it will be able to spin without causing friction on structure. The disc has openings on it's flat side that face inside of tube and magnets surrounded in high permeability material are embedded in this disc.
The disc has small bar that is connected to it's center that goes all the way to the other end of bar structure through the center of the hollowed out bar and connects to disc on other end. Disc on other end is set up the same but magnets embedded in it are off set in comparison. As first disc spins the magnetic fields will push against specific spot on disc connected directly to bar, pushing bar in other direction, once bar is fully pushed over, further spinning of disc will then align the other sides magnet to push it back.
Tube structure also has half moon shaped protrusion on inside and on both halves so when tube is connected they line up to make a full ring shape on inside of tube, these half moon shaped protrusions have at least 1 small round opening on it's side in middle of curve that faces away from center of bar. The opening has a small magnet embedded in it so magnetic force is repelling out sideways away from center of bar. The protruding ring is positioned to line up slightly further in towards center of bar then the ring of magnetically repelled material connected directly to bar. This way when bar moves right or left it is magnetically stopped after a short distance.
Copper coil setup: Copper coils are wound in at least 1 of 2 ways. Either coiled in circles next to each other (Like if you wound coils around a cylindrical bar) or laid out in a row as if wire was on flat table going up then bent to go down & back up until it formed a flat rectangle of wire bending up and down and then the entire structure folded around tube. Copper windings are then lined up perpendicular to magnetic fields on outside of tube. Ends of copper coils are connected into separate construct that will allow electrical current to flow somewhere else.
Circular construct is built like a stand that goes around the outside of motor segment. Circular construct has flat ring of high permeability (magnetic field shielding) material that has small openings that will allow magnetic fields through specific locations. Top of circular construct has groove to allow the horizontal bar to balance on. Circular construct can also be placed on other end of bar so it is balanced. The motor segment is positioned so the disc connected to the bar that is connected to the motor is lined up so the disc passes under the horizontal bars disc that is at end of horizontal bar. The high permeability material keeps the magnetic fields in disc from hitting into the disc that spins or pushes the horizontal bar until just the right moment when the impact will cause the disc in horizontal bar to spin which will perpetuate the piston motion in the horizontal bar. More horizontal bars of the same design are built and positioned around the motor segment in a circular horizontal fashion all the way around. The bar connected to the motor can be increased in length to desired height (As much as motor can handle) and more of the exact same setup is repeated higher and higher up, maximizing the over unity potential of the construct to ridiculous proportions. :D Current from the horizontal bars is diverted to power the motor as needed and all other current is diverted to power my game console or the world. :) Interesting variation to this design would be to connect the spinning discs on far ends of horizontal bar to main bar that magnets are connected to so the magnets spin instead of getting pistoned back and forth. So long as moving magnetic fields are perpendicular to copper wires it should work. By AMA
It also applies for taking something for which you are not ready.

If you give him money he will probably buy alcohol or cigarettes with this money or buy some food or medicine according to his needs and wants. The key is not to jumb into conclusion with your prejudiced mind. Just observe with all your mindfulness, without any thoughts, without any interference from your self. Then you will see what is needed (if any). Then you can see if he really needs food or a haircut or a hug or money or nothing. Just observe without evaluation, you will get answer of everything.
If you give him money is NON OF YOUR BUSINESS for what he will gone use... are you HIS CREATOR to think you got any rights over him ? ... give the money or dont give, THE REST IS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESD
