    The DVR is really good in these as well, 960p upscaled and 60fps. I know most people don't use it outside of finding a lost quad or picture in picture but it's nice to have a high quality recording.

    Would love to have some. So many cool features and look great just got too spoiled to digital. Maybe when the update comes.

      I looked at it a year ago and I thought ill wait out too... but it seems there is no news or hints that something will be coming any time soon :/

    Lol thats what they said about the V1 goggles. Spent 850 and recieved an initial set from Kickstarter, 1yr later they announce new goggles for their "HD" system. Not hating but I wouldn't count on Orqas HD system releasing or competing. I'm actually happy with my goggles, either pair of Orqa's are some of the best if not the best analog goggles on the market.. I just find the HD marketing deceptive :/ Hopefully I'm wrong and they develop a high res/low latency system with a solid link.

    Ok this may sound like a dumb question, but could one use these as a wired real time "camera" monitor?
    I've got a couple of thermal monoculars that I'm playing with and one of them I'm debating deconstructing specifically to build a binocular style headset...
    There wouldn't be any point to a wireless connection here, just a straight wired 480 AV signal out from the monocular processor that would normally go to the internal viewfinder screen.
    No... this technology isn't already readily available or accessible, mostly because Uncle Sam gets unbelievably uncomfortable about regular folks or foreigners having usable thermal or even night vision technology... even though you can buy MM wave radar developer kits straight from TI that make century guns a legit possibility... but whatever 🙄 Snake Vision is apparently the real threat 😆

    Would just like to thank you for your vid, rolling over getting a pair and the $ amount was just killing it…
    Bang your vid pointing to Banggood and promo still on you just saved me $150 ez thank you so much.
    Don’t usually like to buy from China shipping and just soo slow but yea for this np.
    I have Dji v2 and a few vista’s and really like the quality but i also like Analog tooth picks some 3” and 5” that I slam around more so I’m more hyped on the oled screens and the tech they’ve put into and I think there still working up to.
    If they roll out there digital stuff i’ll see then about going there Dji just left previous users out with no backward compatibility so there ya go.
    What you have now that works and you enjoy is what counts.
    Fun Flying and thanx again!

      I'm glad the video helped!
      I'm in the same situation, I use DJI on quite a few of my drones but still have a handful of analog quads. I'm hoping that DJI will release a firmware update to make it backwards compatible. My guess is they'll wait until all of the V2 goggles are sold out to release it. Not having backwards compatibility is a good way to loose tons of customers lol.
      High hopes for orqas digital setup. Until then, these things are my Go-to analog goggles and I've been using them quite a bit.
      Thanks for watching! 🙌

    I wouldn’t call them future proof right now!!!! I mean even the v1 was meant to be future proof right? Yet they changed tech for hd architectures whilst then forcing the v1 to near obsolescence. Community shouted and they had to keep v1 support 🤣🤣🤣🤣 yup I have Orqa too but sorta worried that we’ll never see the hd kit happen soon enough whilst other brands are in a fire war!!!!

    • @TRONCATFPV
      @TRONCATFPV  2 роки тому +3

      Truth! I'm hopeful that their product development is focused on the digital aspect of things now instead of goggle upgrades. I want Orqa to pull through with a solid digital system out of nowhere lol.

    • @MsStevieWoo
      @MsStevieWoo 2 роки тому +1

      @@TRONCATFPV yeah I’m hopeful too. Really do love their products. They certainly have a great team too pool from and vision wise I’d say they could do the same as DJI if the funding is better. Their future like DJI isn’t fpv as the market place is too small for that especially with remote I’d about to roll out. Sure they’d do great at making remote I’d units !? Future proof wise, that is only as good what they are releasing to us in the way of visible r&d ?

      Well I'm from a year in the future and Orqa and Immersion RC has gone totally radio silent with any new product development. I bought Ghost like 3 years ago and don't know that I want to invest more in a dead system.

    Everything sounds awesome except the screen size.
    Most of us want immersion and a large fov.
    These are probably good for racers so they can focus more to the whole screen

    • @crash_lander
      @crash_lander 2 роки тому

      Yeah I agree, the only reason I turned down these goggles is for fov. Immersive experience is more important than endless set of features for most of us. I went with HDO2. Waiting for em to be delivered

    • @EMAHGERD

      I bought these and the FOV is perfect tbh. Fatsharks were too large for me, especially OSD elements on the edge had my eyes struggling to focus on.

    I'm new to fpv and i just bought a Cobra x box goggles . What i see is a nice image down a tunnel , like watching a TV set in a dark room . What i would like to know is with a pair of say FatSharks or DJI goggles will i see an image " closer " to my fov and not the tunnel effect ??? i do not know anyone who has goggles.

    FOV kills them for me. I've got original HD0 and hate the small screens. Way to small. Thought Orqa was gonna be the way to go in the future. Not so much now. Bummer.

    As cool as they look, 499 price tag only to have to spend additional $$ for it to be a complete "FUTURE PROOF" I m not sure is worth it, With ofcourse cheaper options out there. But that's just my opinion, Cool looking gadget nonetheless.

    IMO still way to complicated. Bro most of us camera drone guys are coming over to the FPV side and it's shit like this that TURNS US OFF. I took fly only DJI and I love it for the simplicity and simple plug and play and bind lol.. don't get me started with binding shit . Stand on one leg plug in while pushing tiny red button. Wait! Wrong leg.. hahaha. Yeah that shit made me buy the DJI FPV DRONE and I haven't looked back . Lol. The hoo needs a good plug and play alternative.. I'm talking plug and play parts... Yes I can solder but why? If you can plug and play lol. Just my long ass opinion.. lol
