My 3x Great Grandfather was Chinese and lived on the same road with the Eng and Chang and of course they were friends. I found a newspaper article that mentions this. It was rare to see Asians on the east side of the United states during that time period.
The term siamese twins started with Eng and Cheng who were from Siam. It's very interesting story and a huge credit to 2 people who lived the American dream.
I still have the post card you sent me from Mayberry. What an interesting story the twins have. Thank you for sharing their story. Now you can go back later and show us their museum when it's open. Stay safe and take care.
I have family in that area 😊 well done as always Jordan! I couldn't help but remember the James Dean vlogs you did (fellow Hoosier) and how kind his cousin was to you. Had me thinking "I hope his cousin and family are doing well?"
I’ve enjoyed your NC vlogs. I’m glad you covered Chang and Eng in a vlog. That’s good though that they were not a sad story and taken advantage of like these other side show acts. Also I just found out their body cast is on display in the Mütter Museum in Philadelphia. Unfortunately you can’t film in there
I find their life story amazing, not just for what they accomplished while being conjoined, but for the time that they lived in why being conjoined. I am still amazed that they could have sex though, doesn’t look like an easy feat and how awkward for the other one and the woman 😬 I really enjoyed this Jordan. Thank you. ❤Jodie 🇦🇺
Imagine you’re the momma and your children didn’t come back to visit you. What a heartbreaking thing to happen! I know part of how she must’ve felt because one of my sons Hasn’t been in contact with me for 3 years now. It is hard but life goes on
I think this is another one of your amazing videoes I have always thought how conjoined twins for the most part made the best of their lives. And it seems like I have of heard of these particular ones since I was a child. I had no idea they settled in NC. Cheri TN
Yikes! I would think it a feeling of utter terror being Siamese twins and one dies and the other one that is still alive just waiting in terror waiting for their turn!!😱😖☹️
My question is how could a little Siamese lady even give birth to them. No c-section birth was available to her. The cast of them is in the Mutter Museum
I just wonder how a mother can endure and survive giving birth to conjoined twins? Especially in those days, before chloroform or any other anesthetics. Good grief.
I couldn’t imagine being in the same room with my sibling having sex with their spouse let alone laying right next to them and this still happens omg I can’t wrap my head around it

It’s so good to hear that they had such a great life, unlike so many others. RIP 🪦 😎
Can you even imagine? Yelling at your conjoined sibling to stop getting drunk!!?? “I’m tired of dragging you around bro”!!
