Actually, Grant inherited from President Andrew Johnson, Democrat who ran with Abraham Lincoln on the National Union Party ticket, a nation in turmoil. Johnson, who had been impeached by Congress but avoided conviction by a single vote, impeded the Reconstruction of the defeated South and fought attempts to extend the full rights of citizenship to formerly enslaved African Americans. As the first president after the Civil War, Johnson did more to extend the period of national strife than he did to heal the wounds of war. Grant was far from perfect but was not the worst. In my humble opinion the worst would include our current president, obama, carter, johnson, buchanan and harding. In no particular order

I enjoyed this vlog, Jordan! I actually saw the White House dollhouse when it was touring in 1976. I was just a kindergartener when it was on display in the mall in my Texas town.
I would not want to be in there at dark! That place was fascinating and creepy at the same time.🤣

Jordan, u have visited many bad wax museum's this one ranks right up there. Some of the Presidents look like there drunk or 💤 with how their heads hang, or they just hired some drunks from a bar to stand there. Why have any wives there at all without wax.
Some of these were so lifelike! And some 🥲🤪

Many thanks Jordan and Scott - this really is a great museum. It must have been nerve racking for staff when the exhibits were on tour - imagine having to pack all the waxworks without damaging them! Really enjoyable vlog. Hope Jah is doing well.

The recent presidents didn't look authentic except for Obama. Gerald Ford made me laugh and the comment you made about Trumps hair🤣. Interesting place to visit. That whitehouse was awesome. From that speech Lincoln gave, the civil war must have saddened him.😢
