    Well pick my jaw up off the floor! That neck/fretboard/fret polish came up all sorts of sexy. Whole guitar did. Love ya work, Chris.

    Picking up an RGX620DZ tonight. $360 CDN, mint condition. It's the one with the funky nut locking lever, cylindrical tuners, and no inlay dots. What say you about this model?
    I'm in the process of 'stratifying' an old EG303 also. Body is stained and finished, fretboard cleaned and dressed, Wilkinson bridge, new locking tuners and pickups are on the way.

      I've not yet played that model, funny enough I''ve really only played the RGZ/RGX/YG series of the once in the video. But I will say that any Yamaha you buy is going to be great. Even the cheaper models are killer guitars and the price point is unreal for the value. Post a video when you get it and tell me what you think, I'd love to hear your thoughts!

    Nice job dude!
    I used to do the same with some old Ibanez RGs. I don't like all that old "mojo" LOL
    How good are these TRS bridges compared to an Original Floyd Rose or an Original Edge?
    The background music, is it yours?

    • @chromaticmusic
      @chromaticmusic  2 роки тому +1

      The TRS bridges are made by takuchi in Japan and are identical to the lopro edge. Jackson Yamaha Ibanez and several other companies used these trems and simply had their name stamped on it. The music is all me, I put out an album in 2020 that had 20 songs on it. Thanks for the views and the comments!

      @@chromaticmusic That is some pro shredding man!!!! Great music, I mean it!
      Do you have any video playing that?

    • @chromaticmusic
      @chromaticmusic  2 роки тому +1

      @@EdisonVillelaPor it's kind of funny that you mention that but a few years ago when I was working on it I kind of wrote it on the spot and recorded it and once I got it nailed I moved on to the next section and I hadn't played any of it since so I'd have to actually figure it all back out all over again just to be able to do it on video but that's the plan in the future!

      ebay is your friend! I've sourced a ton of parts from there. Win some, lose some, but it's worth the risk, I've maybe only had 1 or 2 things I've gotten from eBay that were the wrong size or too cheap
