Great list dude... some really great owned LP's with Slaughter & that Lynch Mob. So hard to get! Also another album that flew way under the radar was Roxy Blue - Want Some. Seriously amazing glam metal with great guitar and vox...
An excellent selection,I think you pretty much cover everything here. Fear of the dark and dirt are probably my top picks. The Izzy album is fantastic so cool to see that. A few I would have are black crowes southern harmony, Gun Gallus, Sabbath Dehumanizer, Killers murder one, Offspring ignition, Tragically Hip Fully completely and Thunders judgement day. Hopefully you'll continue doing some more years as I'm really enjoying these. 🤘🤘
Another great year for music! Great list. A couple other hair metal albums id add to it would be SouthGang's album Group Therapy and Tora Tora's Wild America. Some others id have. Black Sabbath's Dehumanizer. My favorite Ministry album Psalm 69. Im a huge Roger Waters fan so Amused to Death for sure. The Art of Rebellion by Suicidal Tendencies and many many more lol.
Wildside Under the Influence is so good. I need to pick that one up. The Crimson Idol is fantastic. Cool to see that rare Lynch Mob record! Awesome video 🤘🏻
Yeah those Wildside and WASP album's are great and I'm very lucky to have that Lynch Mob record. Slaughter's The Wild Life would be up your street I think if you're not familiar with it
Great Video James…Some Brilliant albums there…some I have, some I haven’t heard and there’s a few I’m just after ordering after watching this…Cheers Mate 🤘👍
Awesome ranking there, James! I'm glad to see Iron Maiden, Testament, Bolt Thrower, Bon Jovi, Body Count, etc. in there. 1992 was a good year for metal before grunge came into the picture.
This list is all over the place music wise, I quite like that. A lot of stuff in there that I don´t like that much or don´t know but the video made me want to check out some of it. Mission accomplished I´d say! So you like the early Malevolent Creation and Demolition Hammer? Have you ever checked out Solstice (US)? Apart from "Epidemic of Violence"their debut is the most aggressive Death / Thrash album of all time! Rob Barrett playing guitar and singing and Alex Marquez on drums. Says it all, doesn´t it?
Excellent video and ranking! Some real classics in here. 'Fear of the Dark' was the first Maiden album I heard in '93, and to me, it's still one of my favorites and pretty much flawless...but I agree that there are so many better songs on it they could play live rather than the title track! Great to see that UGLY KID JOE album, too, once again because it's total '93 nostalgia for me (the time when I was listening to it a lot)! 'Adrenalize' is a really good album and I enjoyed it when I revisited it recently (actually more than I expected), but once again, I agree that some of the lyrics are incredibly cheesy! And those CANNIBAL CORPSE and DEICIDE albums are stone cold classics! Your description of 'Legion' made me laugh because it was so nail-on-the-head accurate! Well done, haha! And of course, 'Dirt' is a masterpiece! Great stuff, mate! I really enjoyed this vid!
Cheers James. Yeah Ugly Kid Joe definitely takes me back to being a teenager, Whitfield Crane is a very underrated vocalist I think. 2 absolutely essential Death Metal album's, Deicide really is an album that feels like it's kicking your arse with its relentless brutality
Ah, 92, I was 16 and "Countdown..."was the soundtrack to Summer. From your list there my top five would be.. 1.WASP 2.DEICIDE 3.PANTERA 4.MEGADETH 5.LOVE/HATE I know how good DIRT is of course but to be honest I completely over dosed on it. and I've just noticed, not a great choice of words. Very enjoyable trip down memory land mate!
Some bangers in here and I agree the glam bands put some overlooked gems out. Quite a few dozen I’d put in a list before that Iron Maiden album lol. If you haven’t heard them I can recommend Neurosis - Souls at Zero Helmet - Meantime NOFX - White Trash Kyuss - Blues for the Red Sun Paradise Lost - Shades of God Trouble - Manic Frustration
Yeah 92 was a great year for underrated Hard Rock/Hair Metal album's that flew under the radar. Would like to find Powertool on wax definitely. Cheers for watching
Need to dig out some of those '92 gems to listen to again. Agree with you on that being the last decent Bon Jovi album. Saw them on that tour. Albums after that though? ZZZzzz... That Wildside disc absolutely smokes from start to finish.
@@mrboulder9714 Avoid Wildside's 2nd album. It's really bad grunge. The 3rd album though, The Wasted Years, has great demo, live, and unreleased tracks. It's only on CD, but really good too.
Awesome vid James . Can’t have a list for a year like this with out showing the 90s essentials Dirt and Core . I’m a sucker for grunge . Lots of Death Metal , Cannibal Corpse , Deicide , and Malevolent Creation . I need to pick up more stuff by them . Cheers friend 🤘
My top 5 favourites of your list Are Ugly kid joe America least wanted Bon jovi keep the faith Def leppard adrenalize Iron maiden fear of the dark Slaughter wild life
I don't know if you like KISS but i'm surprised you don't have their album Revenge, one of their best in my opinion. My number one would be Dirt by Alice In Chains.
'92 was a decent year. Love 'Can't get it back into the sleeve, so bollocks'. Have to completely disagree about 'Adrenalize', mind. Fucking awful record, for me. 'Make Love Like a Man' is possibly the worst rock song that I've ever heard. Still, never mind, really enjoyed the vid.
🤣🤣 Yeah I know a lot of people don't like Adrenalize but it's an important album for me even if it's not even close to being one of their best. Glad you enjoyed it mate 👍
@@mrboulder9714 They're a bit of an acquired taste, but I love the riffs and the harmonies. I'd also recommend Gun's 'Gallus' from the same year, if you've not come across it. Love the guy's voice, and it's just great, hard rocking stuff.
Full hartidly agree with the Crimson Idol. Fantastic album from my all-time favorite band
It's an underrated gem. Thanks for watching
Great video as always! I know what I am listening today!

Neurosis - Souls at Zero

I have Kyuss and Paradise Lost but not the others so I'll check them out. Cheers Mike
up to No.2.. I was wondering why the hell you forgot RATM? Nice pick man...
Cheers man. It was close between RATM and Alice In Chains but gotta give it to Rage. Killer record
Lynch Mob ST, Wasted in America, Wildside and POWERTOOL very underrated albums. Still looking for a reissue on wax for Powertool. Cheers JC/Miami
