    you have such a soft voice and your explanations are so clear. It is easy to listen and very easy to follow the steps and construction of the bag. Very good.

    I really enjoyed your tutorial. You explained everything so clearly and didn't do everything fast during instructions. Simple, clear, pace was great. Thank you.👍

    Great, friendly tutorial, thanks! For a lined item like this, I like to leave the turning opening in a side seam of the lining. That way you can sew all around the top edge and keep that seam looking smooth. Sometimes it stretches out a bit during the turning process. I like the version with the larger lining doing double duty as a binding, very attractive!

    I have a question, since turning the bag was such a chore, could one not secure the handles with the bag on the right side?

    Make sure you back stitch especially when you box the corners.

    I have the same machine as you…how come your thread does not bunch up when you start a new seam or row? Mine tends to do this. Would you have a hint for me?

    what machine are you using, it is very quiet? I love baby lock, i have an Allure Plus. I've been watching 'sewing with nancy' for many years, then started watching your videos. So glad I found your video tutorials, I've always wanted to make a quick and easy tote bag, thanks for your detailed explanations. This is a bag I am very excited to start and finish for a future trip.

    Or, you know, leave a bigger opening to turn the bag. It is very easy to close it up later.

    How wide is the handle fabric, how long? How wide is the bottom, I know it's as long as the three squares but not that to make the other side. Any suggestion on how far apart the straps should be apart? This is my first bag.

    • @JasperJanssen
      @JasperJanssen Рік тому

      Looks like roughly 8-10” to me, but the dimension is not critical - any excess results in a slightly deeper bag with more base fabric visible on the sides.

      Use the # of pixels area, once you tap the video as it is playing.. usually 3 dots in stop light fashion, push it. It should highlight # of pixels choices, for a more clear video. Hope this helps.
