Hii, I have pain in one knee from the side and it is making sound. Will this exercise be good to cure this pain?
Hi @kratikarajput! Before trying new exercises, it's smart to talk to a healthcare pro. They can figure out what's up with your knee and suggest the best exercises to help.

Hi sir,
Im having this same issue, the right knee some what hurts while doing seated knee extension, it sort of clicks or rubs at one specific angle during the extension.
I have been doing rehab exercises for around 1.5 months... I would say my strength has increased as now i can do lunges properly, which around 2 months back hurting a lot.
Can i add swimming to my routine each morning? As currently running is stopped due to this pain.. Im thinking of adding swimming to my routine.
What would you advice?
Hi, @debdootsen7509! If your knee hurts or clicks during seated knee extensions, be cautious. Swimming is a great low-impact exercise that's easy on the joints and can be a good addition to your routine. Just avoid strokes that might strain your knee, like breaststroke.

@@FeelGoodLife Hi sir,
I just did an MRI scan yesterday.. It says grade 4 chondromalecia patella and Grade I signal changes in posterior horn and body of medial meniscus.
Can you please suggest any remedies or exercises from your expertise...
Since I can't do a physical exam to see exactly what's going on with your knee, I can't recommend specific exercises. However, we have lots of exercises for knee pain on our blog at Feelgoodlife.com. Check them out and let me know if you need help finding them!

Can i do deadlift with patella chondromalacia?
Hi, @Tarekmad2006! Doing deadlifts with patella chondromalacia can be risky and might make your condition worse. It's super important to chat with a healthcare pro or physical therapist who can check out your situation and give you personalized advice or go for exercises that are gentle on your knees and focus on making them stronger and more stable.

Sir... Can chondromalacia patella heals permanently by physical therapy?
Hi, @fidhafemin3725! What I can tell you is that physical therapy aims to reduce pain, improve joint function, strengthen muscles, and enhance mobility. Some people with chondromalacia patellae achieve lasting relief through diligent physical therapy and lifestyle changes, while others might have occasional discomfort or ongoing symptoms

Let me ask one more doubt that
Is this condition (chondromalacia
patella) permanent? Does it persist life long?
Can mild chondromalacia patella with less symptoms get complete recovery?
Hey, @fidhafemin3725! It's not always a permanent issue. How it plays out depends on factors like the severity of the condition, how well someone responds to treatment, and their commitment to managing it.

I have chondromalacia patella pain, so I did ankle weight lifting exercises. Now, my knee pain is almost gone, but I'm now experiencing pain and dullness in my thigh and hamstring. Can I use a thigh support, and will it help reduce my thigh pain and weakness?"
Hello, @instakid05! Since we aren't able to do a physical exam and see exactly what is going on with your knee, I can't for sure recommend what exercises you should do. However, thigh support may be beneficial in some cases, it should be used under the guidance of a healthcare provider who can provide a comprehensive treatment plan tailored to your needs. Additionally, modifying your exercise routine and focusing on proper form and technique can also play a significant role in managing chondromalacia patellae and associated pain.
