Xumo is a joint venture between Comcast and Spectrum TV...it's really only meant to be marketed to customers of those two cable systems (hence the lack of videos, reviews). The remote looks exactly like the one used for the Xumo Box (Comcast/Spectrum's streaming box) which apparently is where Cable TV is headed as I've heard new customers to Spectrum can only get the Xumo Box and not the "traditional" cable boxes/dvrs.
Wanted to let you know that I just bought one! It’s sitting, hooked up to my Pioneer stereo system. I’ve always wanted a Pioneer tv, and promised myself that I’d buy one if I could ever find one. Well, today at Best Buy, there it is! So I just bit the bullet and bought one, thought “what the hell, it’s a pioneer, so it must be good” And good it is. I love it. The picture is so clear, probably not as clear as on a real high end one, but it looks very nice. I opted for the 43” model. I highly recommend to anyone looking. Pioneer is a great brand with a history of some great products. My old JVC 32” can be laid to rest!
You're still haven't bought a pioneer TV, this tv isn't made by pioneer, it's made by TCL and they are using pioneers name ( who they own) to get people to buy it thinking it's a pioneer, it's a TCL.
Yes!!! What a waste of time! Just click bait. I don’t want to know what you think. You made no major points one way or the other. Who cares about your subscribers. I have the 65” model and use it as a computer monitor. For its price - it phenomenal!
@@TechWithScott They were focused on high end audio back when speaker systems and disc players were around. They couldn't compete with mass produced emerging technology. So the benefit of the Pioneer TV will be the addition of superior sound.

I bought this TV for Christmas. It's great! I have no complaints. The picture and sound quality are awesome. Would definitely recommend this to everybody. I got the 55" and paid 230.00.
I just bought this 43in yesterday and it's awesome and the sound is fine the only thing I don't like is it has airplay and not chrome cast other then that I love it
way tooooooooo many ad commercials my guy. unbearable. you should try n fix that.seems more like clickbait. you said urself u didnt know what the point of this video was... a waste of damn time.
My Panasonic plasma TV that was purchased in 2001 is dying out. The screen is getting darker with night or shadows scenes and there is constant flashing about 45 minutes later. I still watch DVD's, so I am glad there are RCA plugs with this Pioneer TV instead of having to buy one those adapters. BUT, I understand with all these new TV's the DVD quality are really bad. But I ordered this Pioneer with the 43 inch screen and since my DVD/VCR Toshiba player automatically formats the screen, usually with borders on the right and left sides or all four sided. I am hoping the DVD quality will not be bad. I will be purchasing from Best Buy.
What length screw are you supposed to use to mount this tv? The ones that came with a mounted tv stand aren't long enough and there isn't any info on the tv's description
Just ordered me one from Best Buy for $211 regular price is $399 it will be here tomorrow the reason I’m looking at your video now I got the 50 inch one brother
I am really thinking about getting this TV for sure. 55 inch for 240, Dolby Vision and HLG/HDR10. I mean it is a steal at that price, plus I heard lots of good things about it.
Great tv for the office. Pro’s - cheap -Dolby vision -hdr-10 Cons -inputs a bit wonky (go and choose the right hdmi cable) -you can’t edit preset video settings. You do have the option to have your own, just can’t edit theirs. -could never get the sound to work on my soundbar with optical. I had to use the hdmi in port 2 -60 hz Overall I’m satisfied with the purchase. I do have a series x hooked up and it displays both hdr and Dolby vision correctly. It’s not a Sony or Samsung, but for the price, it gives you a lil taste of high end. 7/10
If I had to guess it’s probably because it’s a Xumo TV. It’s a brand owned by big cable and it is a glorified cable TV box. Which isn’t a bad thing. That OS Spectrum/Xfinity boxes are on is rock solid. But a lot of people don’t like that idea.
I have the 55 inch .. when playing hdr content hdr shows up on the top of the left hand corner of the screen .. I’ve tried to view Dolby vision content on UA-cam but haven’t noticed Dolby vision showing up on the top of the screen ??
I wasn't even aware this tv existed let alone tv's were still being made by Pioneer- even if it is owned by TCL now. Seriously considering getting it for my living room.
where do you place the screws for Wall Mount on the 65in version of XUMO TV. Manual has zero information on it and searching online couldn't find anything either. Any suggestions?
I am a huge fan of Pioneer electronics and have 4 Pioneer Kuro TVs that were super high end and 2-3 times more expensive than any other TVs at the time and it showed. I have lots of Pioneer Elite equipment I still use and was excited that Pioneer started making TVs again but once I read about it and saw it I was dissapointed. It’s not a real Pioneer but TCL with Pioneer name. It’s an insult to Pioneer to have something low like this.
Uuuuum I thought you were actually going to show the tv and not talking about it and show everything on your computer like we couldn’t just do that on our own?! Oh yah make your bed
I just bought the 50 in. Model brand new and the remote that came with it will not connect to the TV. The first step is to select language and setup tv. There are no buttons on the TV except on/off. Without a remote I cannot do anything. Going to call pioneer today to see if they can help me get the remote to work.
I have this tv like 2 weeks ago its really good for a cheap 4k tv but there’s an issue randomly when u turn on the tv the wifi not connected and if u try to reconnected it will show “ finding signal “ and doesn’t shows nothing so i have to unplug it and plug it back in and works which is annoying now the second thing the remote control it can happen a random time also lets say the tv is off and i click the turn on button it wont turn on so i have to do the same thing unplug it and plug it back in
This isn't what it appears as Dixon is who is manufacturing the TV's not Pioneer. Which is known for their cheap sets. I don't know the details what the agreement with Pioneer is. However, I am skeptical of this partnership. I hope people do their research before jumping on board here.
@@undeadicated the problem with it is if I turn it off like @11pm and don’t turn it back until 8pm it won’t connect to WiFi unless I reset the tv or unplug while it’s on. You could try it yourself. Don’t turn it on for maybe 20 hrs and see if it will connect to your WiFi

I checked Google, and Pioneer was a brand in its own right and exited the TV market in 2009. TCL brought the rights.
I wonder why they barely sell any tvs
I have a pioneer TV from like idk when I was a kid 2008- until it died in 2017 it was amazing
