@@FrugalRules I like Freevee, because while it doesn’t have the quantity of programming that Pluto and Tubi have. The quality of the programming is outstanding, considering that it’s free. I hope you do a review on it soon.
@@shackdaddy7106 Freevee is a good one too, but we seem to not think about it very much in our comments. I like to binge on Perry Mason from time to time on Freevee.
@@spaceghost4474 speaking of courtroom shows on Freevee I binged Night Court which to me, is one of the funniest shows ever on television. I also like Law and order UK, which is the British would say is quite good. But my favorite show on Freevee is leverage both the original shell. And the sequel shall leverage redemption which is putting out new episodes every Wednesday even as I speak. I like to wait till the season is over so I can binge. I have become so addicted to binging that I cannot watch a scripted TV show and wait a week for the next episode. I have to see a season all at once. And I am willing to wait to do it. Good to hear from you again.
You guys are the best, I start streaming last year and always watch your videos for tips on streaming, so far I think Roku channel and Tubi are the best free apps
Xumo sucks can't turn off the auto play, stupid thing locks up can't do anything because of the stupid auto play. Same problem with Pluto. Tubi is the only app I don't have that problem with.
Pluto, Roku channel, Tubi, Plex and Xumo are all worth having, IMO (as long as you can deal with adds). You can find a lot of movies and shows on these free apps that no other services offer. The biggest issue is trying to decide what to watch.
Yep, we think all of them are worth trying, especially those first few in your list. They're generally not going to be the most recent/popular shows and movies but you can still find some quality content.
Can this be hook up to a projector that has usb in puts and shown on a projector screen? bcos I have roku premiere and roku premiere plus my other tv 65 inch thanks
I have Xumo on my Roku, but I have rarely watched it since I installed it. It seems most of the free streaming apps have a lot of overlap on their content. I go to Pluto the most, but lately I have received recommendations from different blogs and subreddits that Tubi has a lot of good movies if you know where to find them.
Yea, it's a decent service but Pluto and Tubi, along with the Roku Channel are our top three rated free services. Tubi really is a good option if you've not used it much. 🙂
From what I'm told yes. I just ordered it yesterday it should be coming in the mail today through spectrum they sold me on the fact that you can search anybody's name and it will come up with their filmography... I don't like how they said there's no search option but I'll let you know later on today
Comcast is supplying hardware (Flex box) and Software (Xfinity x1 platform) and Charter is providing the $900 million funding. Today they announced XUMO smart TV with Element. A picture shows XUMO UI will look similar to Chromecast with Google TV UI. Since your video release last month they changed the app logo to XUMO Play. The UI has been tweaked, grey background, rounded corners. The app is good. The content is decent. You can tell they are no trying to take away from Peacock and getting content elsewhere. I think it worth keeping an eye on and see where it goes.
Great video guys! Thanks. I've avoided the 'smart' tv because it usually was 'evil' with so much violence, smut, etc. Interesting what you said about creating an account (to sift thru all the junk) I can agree, for sure for why you mentioned, but there are times I want to just watch w/o account, commitments, passwords, etc. Good content and organization here. Thanks!
I just got & I hate it so far. What's the point of recording something if you can't fast forward thru the commercials? Can't pause it either. I've only had it for 2 days, but giving it a few more before I give up.
What’s most important to you when trying a free streaming service?
You too are the definition of undiagnosed tism at its finest for the love of God lighting up your not on TV stop speaking like your reading from the promoter
Top tier Picture quality, movie channels, and nature documentary channels.
In my opinion the big three in terms of free TV apps are Tubi, Freevee and Pluto TV.
FreeVee is a good one too. We've not tested it a ton since the rebrand, but always thought it was a solid service before that.

Aw, thanks for the feedback and always happy to help. 🙂 Those are both very good services. We'd add Pluto in there as well as top services.
Freevee is good also.
I tried Xumo a few months back & to be honest I dumped the app - as u say way behind Pluto & Tubi

Yeah, but why do I have to have a cable provider in order to have the Zuma box?
Does it support local channels. CBS abc nbc fox

Is the other apps free like Amazon peacock Hulu and the rest of them
You mean you can't fast-forward through the commercials and pause it AFTER recording it?? Or during?
Is this the same as the Xfinity Flex box? I know that the remote is different with the Xumo box.
no
Can you load 3rd party apps?

Are you able to watch all nfl games?
How about the xumo box itself?
Thank you for this! With so many free streaming services available now, it helps to have someone separate the wheat from the chaff!
Of course! The FAST market is only going to be growing in the future, so definitely important to stay on top of what's good vs. what's fine skipping.

Hard to beat the Amazon fire TV in my opinion.. But these Xumo TVS are super good priced if you just need a good deal Screen

Why don't you show the actual product. All you're doing is sitting there yapping your opinion.
This is a review of the service, so there's no product to show. That's why we showed screen recordings of us using the service.
You're not very kind 😆 🤣 😂
So this is like Pluto tv
It suck’s not worth the time and effort they need to go back to the drawing board
