Hey Tnx man i buy pair of these and after one month of Studio use i have same issue ... no dust no nothing seemles just no lubricant there so i put some lubricant and now work excellent
Thanks man !! I’ve been navigating on internet for weeks to try to find how to disassemble the jogs and solve that same issue ! Very nice one, clear and clean !
Excellent video I really appreciate the time you took to do this I had the deck apart in mins oiled and back together in no time although I agree with another poster not perfect but a whole lot better I too used hair clipper oil if the issue comes back I may opt for a heavier oil but for now we are sorted! Thanks again
Thanks much for sharing, although I have the service manual, I was wondering how to remove the jog wheel before watching your video. Before I tried using oil like you did, I tried the original Pioneer GYA1001 lubricant. The result using GYA1001 was not as good as with oil. My only concern with lubricating either way is that dust would more likely to stick on the lubricated surfaces. However, now the jogwheel works much smoother, although not perfect, but that is due to the "cost optimzed" design.
Best of luck, and hope you get them sorted! It sounds like you might have to go a bit deeper than i did here, so my advice would be to make sure you group the screws into bundles as you take them apart....and take photo's as you go! :)
petroleum-based lubricant might damage plastic. A silicone-based grease is what plastic manufacturers usually recommend.
Thank you so much! Sorted my jog wheels and now they’re like butter!

Which product did you use to clean the jog?
Thanks man!! Gonna do that this weekend on mine

Thanks
Thank you men , great video
Is the repair the same on cdj400?
Thank you so much!!!
It is necessary to lubricate not with oil, but with silicone grease, because oil can eventually spoil the plastic!
🤝
What kind of oil did you use
The oil that you get with hair clippers
