Hi guys, I'm a female new dj looking to buy some cheaper decks and need help. Is this model good for me to imporove myself, and how does BPM Lock work to be exact (is it similar to sync in new decks)?
this is the BEST cdj going in terms of features and how i want to use the deck to enhance my mixing. The BPM lock is FANTASTIC ! i owned cdj 1000 mk3's as soon as they were released .. and they were awesome but everything they consisted of , for the price was unnecessary.Ive also owned the DVJs that are totally unnecessary.I highly recommend the 350. 350s are worth more then what they worth.Im not keen on the mixer cus i havent used it yet.But i found these better then the 1000 mk3s
Anyone noticed with these units that they never really calculate the BPM correctly and quickly? Even with a track i know is solid 140bpm, Its changes up and down all the time, and this is from CD's, Anyone know why?
can someone please tell me how to properly set up rekordbox i have the usb cables in the firmware and drivers udpdated. its plays music through the cdj but doesnt allow use of any functions on the physical cdj. it does work with virtual dj

I walked into a Best Buy and couldn't believe they actually had these on demo :P I thought they looked dull in the pictures but they're nicer when you actually see them.
Rekordbox will not allow me to use the Computer Source to play through my CDJ-350s. Is there a program that is compatible with the CDJ-350 where I can through USB 2.0 cables that are plugged to my PC play the program and thereby mix through the CDJ-350 and DJM-250? Thank you.
After seen some other pro DJs scratch on it I feel confident on scratching and beat juggling with these. It has no jog display but I think you can get away with using the beat grid to know where you are on the "record" so to speak.
Got this set up... easy and fun to use... good beginner set up. I have mine set up with usb sticks and sometimes use virtual dj pro7. have had them for 3 months and would say anyone whos looking to start up to get this set up or if your looking for a cheaper option mayb look into the numark mixdeck. hoping to get a few small gigs in the near future!!
Does the djm 350 work with taktor? Can i plug in the cdj´s into my computer and use it with the djm? or do i have to have another mixer? Not sure i put this right, but what im asking is does the whole set work with traktor?
about to play a dj set this weekend and the bar only has these decks. not going to lie, im scared. too spoilt from high digital read out which shows me my cue points.
Has anyone used a cdj 400 and cdj 350? i currently own a pair of cdj 350s but am considering buying a pair of 400s,i have never used 400s but just wondering is there much of a difference?
I really wish Pioneer would start using XLRs for all mxr outputs and IECs for all AC inputs. If Pioneer wanna play in the pro audio industry, they should be using industry standards.
i have them at the club and i think you cant... at least i had to put the same songs in the 2 USBs if i wanted to play with them. Now i use Traktor. Maybe you can find any way to do that but it would be a bit complicated i think
@sirin555 it doesnt have the basic :P how do you expect it to have hot cue banks ??? i think it is really good for a starting dj with a good budget !!!
people are comparing 350 to 400, i see because of the similarities but the line up doesnt match. 200-400-800-1000 350-850-900-2000 just saying. i never hear the 200 compared to the 350 or the 400 compared to the 850
@RaZZle010 no effects, the display isn't as good, there's no led on the jogwheel, the touch isn't as sensitive on the jogwheel, takes longer to read cds..
No I haven't used any 400's but I have a question about the 350 tho, since u've been using them. So is there a repeat play mode for those, and how do u do it?
@deviant2k No, its for beginners so they get the hang of beatmatching. It just makes starting out easier. Everyone starts somewhere remember. I tried it out when I started out, not the greatest tool to use though. Now i dont even need to look at what my BMP meter says.
@muzikmasteruk Too be honest, they're pretty much the same, they have all of the same functionalities as the CDJ 400's. The only problem is, that when people are like "What kit are you using?" and your like "CDJ and DJM350" They're automatically gonna be thinking, BPM LOCK, SHIT DJ. And tbh, i wouldn't use the BPM lock anyway.
Cdj 350 is much better than cdj 400jogwheel my look ugly but is tightee and more prexise add rekordbox plus usb is way faster to resd on cdj 350 cdj 400 is quite old technology
I started my learning with a controller and sync. It was easier to get into the whole thing. Now I´m syncing by listening, simply because with time you get better and want more challenge. Don´t hate on people for this.
I came for some info about the cdj. stayed for the amazing playlists presented. This guy loves IDM and breaky trax. Huge respect!
Do you necessarily need a dmj 350 mixing board to work with the cdj 350’s?
I still haven’t figured out how to slow down tracks whilst playing and scratch on them. Any pointer videos?

I am shipping a pair of CDJ-350's. A friend mentioned I should activate the locking mechanism before shipping...any ideas on how to do that?

does cdj350 supports link option with the rekordbox not from lan cable, but from usb?
@itsjackingsley it reads the bpm of cd's and usb's.

sorry does the cdj-350 read the bpm of cds and USBs or only when u connect it to the pc??????
why is there not any hot que points?? or is there, am i just not seeing them

i have one of these but didn't have speakers.... any recommendations on some cheap speakers with good sound for this?
I walked into a Best Buy and couldn't believe they actually had these on demo :P I thought they looked dull in the pictures but they're nicer when you actually see them.
How munch the price cdj 350
Which CD-Players should I get? Pioneer CDJ-350 or Pioneer CDJ-400?
Thanks ....

can the aux-channel function as a send-channel too?
can one still use these today? would rekordbox be compatible?
yes! (:

do you have to conect it to a computer for it to work?
can i still use 350s at serato pro v3 or rekordbox v5/6?
any info on this?
They only worked on serato scratch live, they do work on rekordbox dj though and rekordbox export usb
Hi update! If you want to use laptop on 350s it works on rekordbox 5.7
where do you put in the cd's? do you put them in the cdj?
i have them at the club and i think you cant... at least i had to put the same songs in the 2 USBs if i wanted to play with them. Now i use Traktor. Maybe you can find any way to do that but it would be a bit complicated i think
Can i use DJM350 without any CDJ or any CDJ player just only DJM350??
hey, does it have a sync button?
yes you can i use my djm 350 for record my sets with a coupl of cdj 2000
ordered it today! can't wait! :D
can you use the 350 setup on sarato
so im confused, does it need a computer to work or doesnt it?
@93seanwalker
Why not according to you? 'Cause I'm thinking of replacing my 400s for 350s..
Is there a way (on the cdj) to change the order of tracks within a playlist (created in rekordbox) say from date added to bpm?
@sirin555 it doesnt have the basic :P how do you expect it to have hot cue banks ??? i think it is really good for a starting dj with a good budget !!!

Good review, thanks!
00:12 Track playing in the backround?
Si Begg or Stripper?
What the first video song?
I KNOW!! what gear you currently using?
@shixxx8 indeed. nothing "bangwow" with these ones tbh - totally agreed
what's the CDJ @ 1:40 ??
@RaZZle010 no effects, the display isn't as good, there's no led on the jogwheel, the touch isn't as sensitive on the jogwheel, takes longer to read cds..
Dear Santa!...I was about to buy the ddj ergo k, but I'll definitely get this one!
No I haven't used any 400's but I have a question about the 350 tho, since u've been using them. So is there a repeat play mode for those, and how do u do it?
What's that track on 6:20 ?
@deviant2k No, its for beginners so they get the hang of beatmatching. It just makes starting out easier. Everyone starts somewhere remember. I tried it out when I started out, not the greatest tool to use though. Now i dont even need to look at what my BMP meter says.
cdj 350 is good for beginners, you have a BPM LOCK this is very very good!!! .. for me :)
Very Very cool stuff...
TRAKTOR S4 OR 350?
song at 7:32 ?
@shixxx8 I really wish they didn't discontinue the CDJ-400! I really want the 400K set! But NOOOO, no where is selling them!
@SmartPhoneFreak if your wanna use the rekordbox than the 350, without rekordbox the 400 is better
can i use DJM 350 without CDJ 350?
of course
Great CDJs, I've played on them a few times and I'd like to buy them myself. But they're just way too expensive :(
Do you need to buy 2 of these or are you good to go with just one?
Can't wait for mine :D
has anyone noticed how at 2:32 the song name has porn in it ????
Android porn
@Screwbob1711 the logitech z-4 is what i use and are great
nice vid. but i have a question. can you add locaters or marks into the songs with the cdj-350?
jog's are much nicer on the 400's, but the look and feel of the 350's along with rekordbox compatibility is not available on the 400...
on my wishlist.
@muzikmasteruk Too be honest, they're pretty much the same, they have all of the same functionalities as the CDJ 400's. Ive now got these =)
@djrobo1014 yep, checked it later then :)
yes you can
Cdj 350 is much better than cdj 400jogwheel my look ugly but is tightee and more prexise add rekordbox plus usb is way faster to resd on cdj 350 cdj 400 is quite old technology
auto cue, bpm lock and auto 4 beat loop ... even my grandma can dj with those
wanna buy this to but i don't have the money... :(
im getting this tomoro =)
reason why I want cdj players, is that I have to mix by ear, and I dont have to stare at the screen showing mi the bpm
I want DJM-350!!
I agree!
R1 usb port doesnt record so ... It feels like a toy like any dj controller
@iamgreatish
same... the 350 is no where near as good... especially the limited edition cdj400's
well i really like my mk3 1000 :)
GALERA TENHO ESSES CDJ NOVOS NACAIXA LACRADO PARA VENDA
lets be honest the gate effect is terrible on the 350
don't think the 400's feels better than the no way the 400 is much loser more noisy also
2:26 android porn wtf xD
How about aux adapter for android?
this is in no way a replacement for the cdj 400
the r1 does more and it costs less
yeh
@tranjohn OMG!!! Now, it's Top in Beatport! WTF
I found these for $610 each on amazon. Don't pay more! Just keep your eyes open.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
💖💖💖💖💖💖👍👍👍👍👍👍
i wish i had the money for this :(
@shixxx8 the 350 is way better
@2:24 Android Porn hahahaha!
U dont need any computer to use this lol
lool perfect for begginers . perfect if you have alot of money
350 is straight up shit.
I agree, especially for a beginner that they are selling toward it's a waste of money for that much. Better off getting a high end controller.
Nope
ccccooooooooooooooooooooollllll
Pioneer encouraging newbies to avoid beat matching! shame on you!
+Fly Flicks all it matters is what goes thrue the speakers dude... hating comments just because pioneer made someone's life easier are pointless
