Pioneer makes good controllers but the problem is they use too much plastic components, instead of using steel to make the controllers durable. I had similar issues with my ddj 800; deck A jog wheel snapped out of position and I couldn’t spin or scratch on it.

From experience, the grease makes a big difference in the long run. I've repaired over 100 controllers and after a while, I started using grease so the repair lasts longer and is noise free.

@@djviinie You're welcome. Sorry to hear. I really hate doing liquid repairs since they are so time-consuming. Liquid damage is the worst, but the sooner the cleaning process starts the better. I usually take everything apart and begin inspecting the board under the microscope, especially the areas that got touched by liquid. Use 99% isopropyl alcohol and a brush for the cleaning. Let me know if you need further assistance. Good luck!

@@djab203 thank u. Yess everything is completely disassembled. So by the visible spill spots I need to look at least with magnifier then?. Somebody said demineralized water is also an option to clean is that treu ?
      I already started with isopropyl

@@djviinie Magnifier is the best because most components are so tiny and it's best to do a good cleaning so the problem doesn't return or get worse if not cleaned properly. Your other cleaning solution is Deionized Water and Ultrasonic Cleaner but unless you're a business and do this for a living it is not cost-effective to spend money on it. 99% isopropyl is the most affordable cleaning solution which does an amazing job and evaporates after so doesn't stay on the board. Other cleaning chemicals that don't evaporate sit around and create a short when the unit is powered on.
