Haven't finished watching this series BUT can I just say how much I love that you went on vacation to CA vs. France to fashion week like other British sloggers I watch...same content...same outfits...same same same. Then there's Emma - LOVE that!
Oh fashion weeks aren't my cup of tea anymore. Would much rather be in a nice log cabin with a log fire burning and Mother Nature outside 😍
You're right Emma, gotta keep our distance from the wild animals :) Keeps them safe! So appreciated :)
OMG - Emma’s reaction coming out of that outhouse… Priceless! Same for the facemask. You guys are adorable. Awesome video - thanks for sharing💗
I love y'all's chemistry together!!!
Simon and his Gucci trainers in the wilderness lol love it!! such a London fashion guy ✨
😂 Can take the man out of London but can't take London out of the man 😂
Soooo happy and grateful you and Simon are sharing this spectacular trip, with all of us! :) Continue enjoying your road trip, moments like these are forever! you both look very happy! Canada is definitely now on my bucket list :) Big Hugs to everyone. Happy Wednesday!
Thank you ❤️
I love alllllllll your videos but the one with the animals gets to me in the gut! I seriously love animals the way you do!! I would have been on the side of the road at every one of those stops talking to the elk and moose as if they were pets. Seeing animals and being with animals is everything. It just really makes an already great fashion and beauty UA-camr like you, even better.
That dollhouse cabin with the roaring log fire is my idea of heaven...x
Well done to Simon and his stick action lol 😂
I so hope you are enjoying your trip. It is fun seeing the things you see in our own backyard from someone else's perspective. I forget how beautiful it really is. We drive through to go to our destination and don't stop to look at the beauty. Time to stop and smell the trees! Hope you went back to the glacier as it really is an interesting tour.
I absolutely LOVE these videos, Emma. So glad you both had an amazing time!
The reflection in the lakes are stunning xx
Your vlogs are my favorite. Wanna go to Canada so badly now!
We had elk licking salt off our vehicle and others when we stopped for gas in Jasper years ago...they would just wander around town like it's nothing unusual. Thank you for the wildlife note. Many visitors don't understand the risks when visiting here 🇨🇦. Glad you're enjoying your trip! ♥️
I can’t get over the colour of those lakes! Definitely on my bucket list! 👌🏻
Some of the trees you seen are dying from the western pine beetle.
This week is just awesome, both you and Helen Anderson are posting vlogs from Canada! Thank you for taking us with you on this amazing trip and I can't wait for the next thrifting video
Wow! What a wonderful experience you guys are having!!
Thank you so much Emma for sharing this vlog of your Canada trip , absolutely beautiful!
I went to jasper last month and it was hands down the most beautiful place. Everyday I’m sad for having to leave and I can’t wait to go back one day!
Yes I have been waiting for the next installment of your trip!!!
I am a Canadian living in Australia for the last 30 years. Did a road trip through Rockies last year. So beautiful. Growing up we did this drive every 2 years on our way to visit relations. I never stop being in aw of their majesty. Really loving your trip.
Susan Howe I’m an Aussie living in Vancouver 😆. I love driving around the Rockies. My husband calls the mountains in Australia hills. Love the vlogs.
Thanks for taking us along!! You are SO funny 🤣 Love the wildlife🤓 Emma was priceless coming out of the outhouse 🙊🙈🇨🇦
This was delightful! Thank you for sharing!
OMG It's so wonderful, I can feel the fresh air of North America !
Loving this trip. You two crack me up 😂 xx
love how happy you look in these canada vlogs🙌🙌🙌
yay for poutine!!!+
LOL Emma smelling the trees after using the outhouse! So many beautiful views!!
Loving your videos guys . I can almost taste that lovely fresh air. Ohhh those lakes the colours are stunning. Have s great n safe journey guys.
I have a farm in Essex and lucky to have deer on lawn early morn n late evening. Love the outdoors .
Good job Emma and Simon. Brave choice to come to Alberta but well worth it. I was happy to hear it was one of the places you visited that lived up to expectation. Tourism is not a big deal here, but Alberta is home to 5 national parks, with the most visited park across Canada being Banff. Your trip to Jasper was evocative. My first trip there was in 1982, I was 12 years old and we stayed at Becker’s, I remember the first thing I did was walk along that river by myself for an hour. I had never seen anything like it and was thoroughly fascinated., Over the years, Tekkara, JPL and others became well travelled by our family as we’re based in Edmonton and slightly closer by drive to Jasper. We are well familiar with Banff and environs as well, though the last time I was there, Banff/Lake Louise, was on an August visit when my father’s 5 surviving sisters finally came deeper in to visit us in Alberta. I highly recommend to anyone wanting to avoid the crush of tourists, as an Albertan we do not go at these times unless unavoidable, such as the trip with my Aunts, If/When you return. You should check out the Watertown Lakes Park, which is also a national park and is also very beautiful. We have not spend much time there but plan to in the coming year. Apparently they have the largest network of hiking trails of all kinds in the world. Stunning landscapes. We were there in September. Thank you for visiting our beautiful province. Oh, early July is great as well as most everything is in or is beginning to bloom.
Thank you for the recommendation ❤️ We will definitely be back when we can ❤️
I love love love these videos. Fantastic roadtrip. Simon you did a great job filming. Can't wait for the third. X
Thank you, glad your enjoying them. 😁
Love the video guys! You're hilarious!😂Thank you for sharing! ❤️👍😍
Loved your travel blogs : ) Canada is amazing ❤️
Another great video Emma. Oh and Simon of course. x
Totally understand the beautiful of the landscape. I live in Colorado USA. We have home facing mountains in town. Then a mountain home in Winter Park. Skiing, snowmobiles, biking, and hiking year round and so much more. The mountains are peaceful. The waterfalls are breathtaking. Moose and fox walk by our porch. 🥰
That sounds amazing ❤️ We have been to Colorado once and loved it - Seven Falls in Colorado Springs was beautiful. Then we spent a night in Denver before driving through the Rockies 😍
Lived in BC most of my life and never made it out this way - looks so incredible!! Need to visit soon 🥰
Watching again Aug 2020 enjoyed it first time so here i am again, the scenery is incredable as is the video's xxx
Love Simons Boy Scout skills, A1 fire 🔥 for sure. Thank you so much for sharing your trip, I made my hubby watch some highlights (he’s not a UA-cam watcher) and now we are both adding Alberta Canada to our vacation list. It’s just so beautiful!
😁👍
This trip is so amazing! Love following along. :) xx
Omg...that is a beautiful place to be 🐻🐿🌲🏔
Loving your Canada road trip think this has been the best by far. Watching you and Simon though makes me feel nostalgic. Think it's remembering when we were younger and everything felt really exciting. When Simon was standing close to the cliff edge my husband would do that he was like a mountain goat and I'd be scared witless :)) We still have great holidays together but realise we don't have adventures as such.
Roll on the next one..Simon, your 'stick' is called a poker! 😂 🐃🐿🐾 Xx
Yea. You see a lot of wild animals in that area..reminds of my trip years ago. Love u guys❤️
Loving this travel series guys!! Even it was slightly disturbing the footage of Emma in her mask thing! Keeping it real Simon and Emma. X
You all are getting me in the mood for cabins in the mountains! What beautiful scenery 😍😍❤️👍!
Simon, good job on the 🔥.
Don't you love exploring new places? Did you get your bear claws?
Thanks for sharing this with us. I have enjoyed the trip 😊. I feel like I'm there with you. You all crack me up 😂. Looking forward to the next one! Hope you have a great day!❣️
I loved this! thank you!
You're really making me want to do a staycation this year 🇨🇦 haven't done the jasper/Banff road trip for awhile. The mountains are calling 🏔
Can you please do a sit down video of how you planned this whole trip start from finish and if there’s anything you’d need to know / apply for before you go? How it all works etc? X
I live in Alberta, I've been to Jasper, I celebrated Canada Day there! I'm planning a road trip back when I'm older, I miss the beauty so much 💕
You got some beautiful footage in this vlog! We had a huge problem with mountain pine beetles destroying large tracts of forest. Between that and fires, you will see a lot of dead trees.
We pronounce Malign like muh-lean. Emphasis on the second syllable. Can’t wait for vlog 3.
You guys are making me want to road trip in Canada!
Jasper is a really beautiful place ! Enjoy ! 👌👌
This is beautiful!
Love your vlogs. The two of you are so cute and endearing together. The Columbia glacier is where the Columbia River starts. You might look up the Columbia River. It separates the two states of Oregon and Washington and then empties into the Pacific Ocean on the west coast of United States.
Amazing, Spectacular views . Cannot wait for vlog 3 E &S .Great editing Simon👍 and goodchoice of outfits Emma. Cheers Xx
Glad your enjoying them 👍😁
You two really party, roaring fire, mask and all 😂 I can't believe the glacier has receded so far back 😭. So glad you had such nice weather for your trip!
Great vlogs Emma!
Love your hat Emma, and yes Simon your is nice as well. Glad you guys are enjoying the beautiful Jasper❤️
😁🤣
Great river ... We also have such in Bavaria and Austria too.
Incredible canyon. Never seen such a height ...
Waffle hut ... good idea!
Ok, it’s going seriously mad, now I wanna get there! I just need to see it by my own 😍😍😍 goal to achieve🚀
Great blog. Love u two
We did a very similar road trip in 2017, but summer. The forest fires were horrendous then: blocked out the sky. Despite that British Columbia is stunning & we saw a small black bear family. I’m enjoying reliving our trip through yours!
Looks amazing putting me in the mood to visit Canada 🐝🙀❤️
Dont know why but this vlog made me really emotional,i think its the beauty of the country and the animals, just wonderful,,i adore your hat Emma, really suits you,,im off to Cornwall this weekend ,bit more beauty to look at xxx
I hope you have a great time down there and hope the weather is OK. 👍🏼
omg I was in Jasper last winter to ski and I absolutely loved it!!
I bet it looked beautiful with all the snow 😍
Love the sound of that crackling fire. You look great with that mask on Emma😃
You in your Uggs, Simon in Gucci trainers to hike..... love it, love it! Enjoying these Canada vlogs so much!!!
Awesome! So beautiful. 😊🌲🌳🐾🐑🐻
16:35 OMG. Haha, glad you are enjoying Canada. It's a fantastic country - especially west of the Rockies ;)
wonderful vlog!
Arkala Simon, defo deserved your camp fire badge 😂 those cabins were so comfy looking. The scenery is amazing it sure is on my bucket list 👍 but I might just leave my ‘designer’ footwear at home, proper walking boots for me 😂 can’t wait for the next instalment x
I also cant believe how much the glacier has changed in last 12 years, wow!!! :(
Love how everyone stops to see the animals and no one cares that there are cars all parked up 😍😍😍 like unwritten rules 😍😍
Men love building fires. Well done, Simon! Glorious scenery beautifully photographed.
Oh my you had me laughing so hard.... “Lady Deer” you’re so cute. 🤣
Yay Jasper hasn't changed, beautiful. The fries! Drool...😍
Jasper was so nice, we loved it 😍
You reeeeally should do s’mores! I started making them with a toasted marshmallow and two chocolate covered digestives and it’s amaaaazing
I love Tekarra lodge!!!! OMG! it's had some updates since the 80s. 😂😂😂💜
😂 Yes they have modernised them a little but not too much, they are still beautiful and cosy, we loved them too 👍🏼
Lmao 😂 you two... that fire 🔥 side romance scene was the best. Very cozy with you mask on Emma 🤣
Beautiful 🌲 🏔reminds me of my school town of Nainital on the hills of the Himalayas !
I'm hoping you managed to see Moraine Lake and Peyto Lake on your trip. Both a bit challenging to access due to crowds, but are stunning.
Amazing!!!!
I see you guys are having a great time !! The place is beautiful and Simon is thinking he's Indiana Jones !! You looked great dressed as a lumberjack!!!
Lovely vidio looks like you are having a great time scenery looks amazi🌲🌲🦌🌵ng
Welcome to Alberta!!! Enjoy what Jasper has to offer! I live about 4 hours away from Jasper! 👋🏼
We really enjoyed Jasper 👍🏼😍
Emma, only you can be so stylish when hiking. Love your outfits.
I was on a very similar trip when I was a moody miserable 13 year old. I enjoyed it much more with you and Simon 37 years later
😂
All the giggling about the stick. I was waiting for you both to zone out in front of the open file. Eh voila, all goes quite then the mask. my cheeks ache. Thanks for the inspirating footage. safe journeys guys
More gorgeousness! Such amazing views. And you both look great, obviously having a great time. (Did Simon have to spend a lot of time cleaning his lovely white trainers after walking all over the grass and wet trails? Or maybe he's just super-coordinated? I kept thinking, eeeeek, your white shoes! lol) So happy for you! Can't wait to see the rest of your Canada adventures too! xo
[By the way, poutine is from Quebec specifically (I lived in Montreal for a few years and back then it was just a weird thing that Quebecers ate, including my nine-foot-tall hockey-playing boyfriend at the time...so weird that it's become a worldwide thing now) and the pronunciation in Quebec French *is* more like "poo-tin". Obviously a European French speaker would say "poo-teen". ]
🤣 it wasn't actually too muddy. I was meant to pick some walking shoes up before we left but I didn't have time. Although the trainers faired really well 👍
In case you didn’t find out why all the trees around Medicine Lake were dead, it’s because there was a fire in July 2015. It was caused by a lightening strike that smouldered underground for several days. They had to evacuate about 1,000 people from the backcountry. We could see the smoke from town. Luckily we got quite a good rainfall shortly after.
Excellent!!!!
Beautiful memories! Love the AB check jacket, what size did you purchase? @emmahill
Hello greeting from Belize wonderful video loved it
I was there this week, amazing view
Hope you had a fantastic time 👍🏼
Wow Emma you and Simon are looking very nice beautiful amazing Alberta Canada Road Trip vlog well done 😊😊❤️❤️👍👍
Ciao Emma che bel viaggio. Siete bellissimi e simpaticissimi
❤️
Great vlogs, thank you for sharing your travels! The music is a bit jarring though against the calm serene visuals
Boy scout badge for making fire😂 you guys are precious 💚
LOL. It was worth it, Simon (Emma's reaction coming out of the toilet), thank you :)
Told you. 🤣
How did you rent your hut on the road?
Aww, your cabins were so cute! What is it about Men and wood? Have wood must build fire 😂 If we’re away my husband always wants to do the fire (if there’s one) but we have a multi fuel burner at home and I have to do it 90% of the flipping time in the winter! Lovely seeing the wildlife, and the camera mounted on the bonnet is giving amazing footage 😍
Men right? 😂🙈
Emma Hill yep, exactly! 🤣
