So sorry to hear about your camera being stolen. I hope you were able to enjoy your trip anyway. It looked like Ben & Jerry’s was a good stop. I’m with you Emma on the hill and steps ICKIEST!! Back home is always good, even when you have really enjoyed the vacation.
Please dont be sad about the footage that got stolen, what you did get was great, it was really enjoyable to watch! Watching this video brought a tear to my eye, but in a good way. I used to go to Stowe every summer as a kid to visit my grandparents, but I haven't been back since they passed away a couple years ago. I remember that covered bridge so well! When I was about 10 I was going horseback riding down that road. A truck with huge Christmas trees strapped on top of it came through the bridge and the horse basically lost its sh*t seeing moving trees, it nearly ran straight into the truck! 😂 It was bittersweet seeing Stowe again, but it was lovely to see you both experience it for the first time. I'm so sorry your trip was overshadowed by your camera being stolen, thank you for powering through it to give us this great vlog! ❤️
Loving your road trip! I live in the southern United States and I've never been to Boston or Vermont but I have been to London and Paris. It's funny that you are commenting on what we see everyday as so cute and quaint and I had the same thoughts when in London and Paris. I guess we all love new and different things! Enjoying your trip report!

Oh what a awful thing about the camera. I've been reminded by your trip that you can count on something going wrong and being tired and out of sorts at times when you head out for new adventures. Glad you took time for yourselves 💗You made it through the trip and weather and hopefully enjoyed the areas you were in. I'm glad you made it to the Ben and Jerry's factory, a bit on the hippie side of things lol I guess that's how it started for the company. I like that you both like to hike and see those kinds of sites beyond the city areas. Montreal looks beautiful and French.

I was in London by the time you drove back into Montreal, and it's strange but really cool to see you there. London is a few degrees warmer, very true.

it didn't ruin the trip. just frustrating that we had so much footage for you guys which was lost. a learning curve for us both. x

I was so sorry to hear about your camera on the InstaStories and now I'm even sorrier after watching you re-tell us here in the vlog. I'm sure that, despite the bad moments, you've both made the best of your journey. Thank you for showing us your trip and can't wait for your next update (as always).
P.S. I didn't know what Ben&Jerry's was until last year, when I spent my Uni Year Abroad in the UK: love at first sight. So, even though I'm now back in Italy and I can't really complain about our ice cream, can't I... I really miss B&J and you should feel a little bit guilty because, after seeing you have it in the vlog, I miss it even more!! :P

Emma I am so sorry that your camera was stolen, however I enjoyed the sites and nearly peed in my pants when Simon was encouraging you to walk up the steps it was in Montreal after breakfast he is so funny, both of you really know how to just be yourself open up to us and you both seem to have enjoyed yourself. OMG so much OMG in this video!!!
1. I bought that cord jacket. Its awesome though the sleeves are thinner than I thought they would be.
2. That first Blue Jays hat is sick. Ive been searching for a black Jays hat and I need it.
3. New England is amazing. Vermont is beautiful during all 4 seasons. Really shocked about your camera. I will bet you any money that it was taken by a non-VT'er as everyone there is a doll.
4. The way you drove into the B&J's factory... if you kept going straight maybe for 3 KM, you'd come to a set of lights and you'd turn right and up that hill is the house we rent every year to ski Stowe. If you turn left you'd come to the Green Mountain Roasters which has the BEST coffee.
5. Loved the repping of Toronto in SHITREAL and the Simon POV & Commentary.
Your trip looked awesome but I can empathize with you. When something bad happens, your mind isn't there. I lost my car fob and house keys in Milan once. The replacement of the fob would have cost the me amount of the trip itself. I was gutted. So I feel you. I hope things are looking up!
