- One of the best attractions you can experience on Langkawi Island is this cable car ride to the top of the mountain for amazing views. But you should be super lucky to get the views. I have spent $24 for the experience and it has been incredible. Even tho I did not get to the views.

I think the title of this clips is wrong. He actually commented a few times during the ride that it was lovely. He was only dissappointed with the cloudy sky for obstructing the nice view.
Strongly suggest to change the tittle with immediate effect

Actually, I bumped upon very good content creators because of this bait, come for the bait and then stayed for hours on the channel because of quality of the content.
But some of click baiters are just completely trash, the click bait is trash and the content even more trash
Those who complained about different pricing for foreign vs local tourists have not travelled much.

I think this pricing difference was done not too long ago but the price difference is often too much. You may charge foreigners more but not up to 3 times as I saw some tickets in melaka.

You can still travel and do free things or go places that don't have different ticket prices. Not everyone wants to pay more just because they're a foreigner.

Always check the weather when you're going up to high places. Unfortunately, you're visiting during rainy season, you won't be able to see much due to the clouds. Try going on a clear day, the view is amazing~
it's the same as what I felt when I went to Langkawi. but someone advised me that if you want to see beauty in high places, you should go in good weather. and when I went the other day I was very excited to see the beauty of Langkawi island and I said it was a paradise. it's so amazing!

it's clearly cloudy right from the start before you purchase the ticket, even the top was covered by cloud at one point yet you still spent rm100+ to go up there

Langkawi is my family yearly trip for holiday since i was a kid, the pricing cost so much2 more compared to when it first open, parking free, no queue, only need to pay 1 price to access all part and super cheap, but now my brother said all things will be charged, there will be additional charged to access certain part, and queue is super long 😑, thankfully I already went most of what Langkawi can offer😆
I always check the weather before using cable car. As a guide, Always go there in the early part of the day.
Fun fact(if u dont already know), Matchinchang mountain(& Tarutao island. Could be seen when the weather is clear) is the oldest peace of rock in South east asia & the oldest in Malaysia. It's from the Cambrian period, older than dinosaurs.
Hi. If you are going the cable car for the view, please check the whether before going up the cable car to avoid disappointment. Usually, it would rain in the afternoon, so try going up in the morning. Anyway, I do enjoy the experience watching your video.
Whether it's raining or not, afternoon is just no no 🤣 it is either too wet or too hot. Mornings are the best to enjoy high places like mountains and ranges, evenings are the best to enjoy beaches.
Yes. I went to the cable car for 3 times, since in my teenage age.
I never had an experience about the cloudy, windy situation.

Dear bro. It better to have one sky bridge and nothing else. Then only, it can long last for some years with good reputation. If not : ( Too many cooks, Spoiled the soup ).
For bungee jumping they need a more stabil platform to tie the rope to, this hanging bridge is definitely not built for that.

I guess you should research before going. Wrong time. Normally you should go in the month when the rainfall days are minimal.

For that price and not get to see what u want to see i.e. panoramic clear view of Langkawi us a big disappointment.I was up there either on same day or day before him...Torrential rain from halfway ...if I had known it was going to tain and be misty....I would not have paid for whole family...no rain cheque
@@amandapoole2587 That is logical, the facility was built using the taxpayer money (citizens of Malaysia) not donation from the United Nation or anything.

If there is 'surprise' over different prices for locals and tourists then this person doesnt appear to be so well-travelled. At least not within SEA (ex. In Myanmar, and some parts of Thailand to name specific spots) where such a practice is evident. However, if the intention was just to 'draw viewers' easily, then i guess it worked. Easy-peasy. I cannot comment on the overall quality of this video, having been drawn in by the click-baity headline and subsequently being turned off a few mins into it. That wouldnt be fair 🙂
It's because of the weather. I think you went there during rainy season so all you can see is mist.. Its not always like that tho

If the weather is clear you could see the beautiful Andaman sea and its small islands which is on the Thailand border.
To make your stay in Langkawi more entertaining, you should do the jet ski island hopping through Mega Water Sports... It'll be from Cenang beach

It will be always cooler on top than on the ground, especially the skybridge, even on sunny day. It's rainy season now so the clouds are gonna be in the way. I hope you can come again when the weather is better. You will definitely be amazed by the view. And the nearest Thai islands are Koh Lipe and Koh Tarutao, which you can see from one of the platforms on top if the sky was clearer. Koh Lipe is also an awesome place for vacation!
there is no significant arab community. The reason you see a lot of arab restaurants is because you have a lot of arab tourists coming there

the highest peak in langkawi is gunung raya... not this cable car mountain... can go up to the peak of gunung raya by motorcycle

In north of malaysia u should go in december until april or mei ,during that month in here we call "musim timur" there have no rain that time, beautiful whether ,wind so heavy and beautiful color of nature as well
