I never said I am entitled to exclusive service just because I am with the camera. Even without the camera, I would act the same, eat the same, and talk the same.
My travels are raw and either it is a good experience or bad I share it for your judgment. So I shared how I felt about the whole experience.
I love India and Indians, and I know how good they treated me in India.🇮🇳

Those workers are from south India not local Indians. May be boss was watching over. Normally we don't talk much while cooking because of hygienic wise. We have to go for crash cause for handling food. If customer complaints got food poisoning they'll shields the stalls for two weeks. Compulsory get vaccinated only allowed to operate. Information only

A word of advice to you as you travel - please don't take things personally. As a traveler you should know that you meet all sorts of people; not everyone is going to be excited to talk to you or be filmed. They may have lots of other pressures that they may not want to share especially because you are filming. Keep an open mind.

They are not rude. It is just that you caught them at the wrong time. For places like these there is no time for casual talk. Just order, eat, pay and leave.

Davud, don't take it at heart. This shop looks busy, and it's obvious those guys don't like to seek attention unnecessarily, they got work to do. If you noticed the shop is by a busy street (Market Street), many of his customers are on bikes and ready to go. So, the workers have to attend to them quickly, if not those bike customers might cause traffic jam on the street. If public make a traffic jam complaint to the City Council, the shop has a potential to be removed. Different country different rules, different people different culture, that's why you're travelling, right?

If someone keeps bugging you while you are busy, every 5 seconds or so, "brother this, brother that" asking many questions, I am sure you or anyone will get tired and fed up with this. It is like babysitting an unruly child. Those workers handled the situation correctly, I think.

First time I found you a bit annoying..
When you were trying to record the Chapati making process...
The owner was busy too and you were moving in between him while he was busy with his customers...
And you expect him to respond to you at all the time?
And you are saying in the title "COLD" experience...?
    Not good dude...
You need to communicate better too...
I would not have commented in this way...
Your title provoked me to write this...
    That was a normal experience...
    Not COLD...
Some people won't even have patience to respond a single sentence but that guy responded well..
    And you're saying Cold experience...?

Then you left and returned there....should have just went somewhere else to eat. On top of that you complained about the food. The tea guy also wasn't happy, then you asked him for a show...we know you on a goal to reach subscribers and increase opportunities to monetize your content but exercise a bit of respect and consideration for others.

I think you were overly sensitive, if you goto an eatery during busy hours and you bombard the staffs with questions while shoving your camera without asking permission to shoot and you get upset just because they didn't take their sweet time to answer trivial question such as where to sit. You acted like a little kid being ignored and label it as "cold" treatment. I think the owner was nice enough to entertain your questions earlier albeit they were already busy, but you keep bugging them non-stop. You were just being rude.

You were bugging the hell out of them. First thing you asked the man why he was mad. This was a negative approach to begin with. Afterwards you kept asking too many questions while they were trying to concentrate on their jobs. I thought they were gonna tell you to take a hike, but they took care of you anyway. Also, Penang gets more tourists than India and I believe concern about them is much less there.

      actually I agree, Mila
today, I buy waffle, but need to butter chocolate, and peanut butter. the seller ask me "how old, earn how much $$$, married, lived where, how many children"
you are right, sometimes people talk, sometimes they dont.
but when they do, cannot keep asking personal questions and then say "oh, we are Asians, very friendly"
thats not true. she just wanted to compare if im earning more than her. I have around 5..6 waffle bakeries around my apartment...ive crossed out around 4 of them...I usually cross out establishments who ask personal questions.
more and more each day, it's like I cant buy any more food. because buying = ask question "how much money do you earn"
can I answer "you go and die." Will they prepare my food..?
it's very tough really. for me, 100% I just want to 1) buy food 2) pay money, 3) leave. it is a lot of harassment.

After ordering, just find a table, and wait for food. Don't loiter near food area "wanting to see how things are prepared". Some people find this annoying. Not only food vendors but also customers in the queue. Eat and pay after food finished. Not halfway through the meal. And don't ask stupid questions. Things here especially in Malaysia and Singapore are different. Unlike your favorite part of the world. Where there's no system, anything goes.
Also, Indian and Chinese temples are covered in other videos. In Malaysia, show the mosque and Malay culture more, please!

Not like some remote areas in some countries they welcomes u like an alien who had just landed. Most of the workers are from India not locals. As a Sri Lankan I too might get a bit stressed out when you want to see the food etc. With the pandemic everhing has changed and in many restaurants and hotels you can't go to the kitchen for hygienic purposes. My son almost got fired becasue he made this mistake. He was working to gain some experience. It was a very popular chain around the world, so it's their job Vs customer services. Just try to understand David when it comes to food it's a very tricky business. Be safe and God bless you.

      agree, Jenny...pandemic, everyone must clean
but few times we paid for food-item, we point, we pay...ANOTHER item come, much lower value.
not saying Sri Lanka cheat, I did love Kandy. I also agree how u say "pandemic...everything kept clean" but, sometimes, we see, we point, we pay - very low priced food comes to our table so.
after being cheated so many times, we are not wrong to be careful too. im not saying your son cheated, im saying a lot of food sellers are just trying to cheat and be bullies only because they know even Police cannot help.
so it's only up to us buyers to be vigilant/careful.

Malaysian is the nationality because we are citizens of Malaysia.

Therefore, all the food are Malaysian but of different cuisines.

It seemed that the stall was famous in that area and your constant questions had disrupted the drink orders. Normally, these immigrant Indian workers from India do not write down orders but just remembering them. The guy who was preparing the drinks seemed lost his count of orders. Bro, also I think you are confusing people when you ask if Malaysian or Indian food. Malaysian food consists of Malay, Chinese and Indian foods - the 3 main races here in Malaysia, plus the many indigenous races from Sabah and Sarawak, including those from the peninsular.
Also, do try Malay food as we make up more than 60% of the population. Plus you'll quickly get Malay subscribers when you try satay, nasi lemak, rendang etc

The thing is, that you are travelling and want to know everything but people are just working. Imagine every tourist would ask so many things. So don’t have a long conversations with them, cause they are busy and have to work. And especially don’t ask if you can sit there. I think you don’t have to ask things like that. And don’t tell brother to everyone. It’s common in Azerbaijan but not there.
