Beautiful Malaysia, with very kind people! Thank you for watching and being here! 🇲🇾 I catch myself eating most of the time, but enjoying every second of it with the locals, especially in remote areas. Thanks to this nice lady for explaining and showing real kindness! Thank you, Davud
So happy to see that you are having such an amazing time going here and there on your scooter in Langkawi , Thanks for helping the local folks with their small business. Enjoy your ride and looking forward to see your next video ...take it easy on the food hahaha 🤩❤
I am a Malaysian. I have watched your videos for long time, even before your Sri Lanka trip. Your generosity helping Sri Lankan is very laudable. I am very much astonished with your generosity everywhere you visit be it Sri Lanka or my hometown Penang. God Bless you
Such a nice, friendly and hospitable store owner. I have friends in Malaysia who I studied with at University and plan to visit there oneday soon. Happy adventures Davud.
In Malaysia, there's a practice where people give and take. It's a way of showing appreciation and hospitality. Again, you did good brother. She appreciates your kindness, hence the free sweet palm sticky rice dessert for you! 😋
God bless the Banana, pineapple store owner, absolutely pleasant, hospitable and kind. No matter how busy, a pleasant disposition with a smile, makes a big differents. Hats off for her effort in trying to speak in English.
Not a suprise since this is Langkawi...the folks there are so used to communicate with foreign tourists..the same goes for those locals in Taman Negara Pahang & Tioman Island ( just to name a few)...
12:02 don’t worry, we local won’t steal the fruits even it is in outside, because we believe in our religion that eating the food that we steal is haram, that’s why Malaysia is listed in 18th most peaceful countries in the world based on 2022 global peace index

Because English is one of major subject taught in school from primary up to secondary schooling system. So almost every one can speak and understand basic English at least

Davud,You mentioned “Tapai Pulut Maksu” at 3:58. Tapai pulut is one of the delicacy in this part of the world. Maksu is a term that we Malays use in calling our youngest aunt. “Tapai pulut” is fermented glutinous rice. It is very sweet plus a little bit sour and has a little bit of alcohol content due to the fermentation process. The fermentation is normally for 7 days. We only eat/take the glutinous rice and throw away the liquid. Tuak which is an alcoholic drink famous on Borneo Island (East Malaysia-Sabah and Sarawak) is made the same way but the fermentation is longer and the liquid from the fermentation process is called tuak. Probably quite similar to sake and soju.
