- Langkawi Island exploration is continuing. One of the things I love about here is the small roadside vendors where you can get your snacks and food. And of course meet some sweet, caring and hospitable local people.

She's trying to ask you what you want to eat, and she's single and working to take care of herself. This is how many villagers run their home based businesses. Its good to learn about how the locals live though. Your good tip just made her day brother!
Thank you so much, Nick! She was amazing person indeed, and the language is not a problem usually when your heart is pure.
Hahah i'm indo but the villagers its pretty similiar with us in here same language too, but the villagers its actually kind, friendly even they cant speak english 🇮🇩🇲🇾♥️
@@Davud_Akh ..if u don't mind mr. David,r u muslim or free religion??..u looked so cool bro
Tq sir
Stay in this lady’s company a few days and you will be talking her language fluently! A very good hearted woman. You made her day.
This kind lady's name is Roziah. The henna on her fingers is common among Malay ladies for everyday use and not only used by Malay brides on their wedding day. She's very friendly and telling you some of the food she can cook. "Goreng" is fried. I'm sure she feels happy that you come to her stall. I bet she didn't realise you were filming her on You tube hahaha. Your videos are not only interesting but funny as well. You are such an inquisitive person. Keep up the good work Davud and thanks for sharing, as always. All the best from KL 🤗
So kind of you Davud, she's single mother. You touched my heart by your kind heart...may God bless always... I'm subscribe now
Such a lovely and kind lady! I love Malay culture.. unparalleled hospitality.
Thank you brother for supporting the local businesses mainly the rural areas, they depend mainly from tourist.Thank you once again on behalf of all Malaysian.God bless u,Brother.
Vocabulary in video:
Goreng = fried ( mee goreng = fried mee)
Suami = husband (tak ada suami = no husband) (she was saying she stays alone, no husband)
Banjir = Flood (she was pointing out flood water came into her store)
Terimakasih Banyak banyak = thanks a lot
TQ my brother for being kind to this lady..respect! i subscribe now. Enjoy while you are in Malaysia.
I think you can speak local language there if you live for perhaps 6 months to a year. Your solo trip footage never fail to amaze us. Thank you, Davud
Thanks david for helping and sporting poor people
Lovely lady. Hope to see another video soon. It's nice to see you are giving back to the locals, not just making videos for yourself. The lady was concerned if the money was legit when she asked if it's halal. This tells the lady has been working for legit money all her life. Very hard working and great example 👍
When she say halal, she doesn't mean that the money source is halal, she just asking if he really giving it with full heart... It's like whether he is hallaling(allowing her to own it with full heart) the money to her?
@@mzackkhan6499 Yes. That's what I meant. Thanks for explaining
Malaysia series is awesome👌The way of recording the video is excellent👏Nice shop & wonderful lady👌👍its like Sri Lanka 😃Thanks for showing this great post Davud👌👍always love from ❤😍🇮🇳
Thank you so much ❤
@@Davud_Akh Thank you too❤
King Coconut only from Sri Lanka
Besides the coconut tree, the lady also said there was a "manggis" or mangosteen tree, not a mango. you must try the mangosteen, the fruit is very soft and sweet, the color of the fruit flesh is white.
May God protect you wherever you go, thanks for making makciks(aunty) dsys👍😊❤️ shes a single mother, you really help her a lot, the way she raise both hand and say thank you shows that😊❤️👍🇲🇾
I support this kind heart of yours. The lady of this secluded place is really honest and humble
You are so kind bro... thanks for the kindness bro...we Malaysian really appreciate it so so much 😘
Thank you for having me here! 🇲🇾
Yes, terimakasih banyak banyak..(lot's of thanks)
Sha......! Lovely video.I see that you have a good intelligent audience. What you don't understand they correct you.. Good !!Not only for you ,it gives us more understanding your videos.... Good luck.!!!
Enjoyed watching this video a lot. Iam a huge fan of yours
She is so sweet. She talks the same language as Indonesian. I was in Bali and Lombok this summer and the cultures are very similiar
It isn’t exactly the same.
@@JK-eu8ri i didn’t say it. Cause i can not understand every word.
Do our face with indonesian, brunei, singapore etc different?we from same people..austronesia+austroasiatic..of course similiar.
You are so generous and kind to help people, nice to see them happy.
Hi Davud, always a joy to watch your content. You present it with such an ease connecting with the local people. That ice cream machine looks fascinating. The joy on the face of that lady tells how happy she was receiving money from you. So many times thank you :) :) :) Teri Maakashi..
Davud, the title is misleading, as my first impression was that you paid too much for the coconut. Gave me the first impression that something was not right here. However after watching the video, i had to say i was corrected pleasantly.
The lady was showing plain hospitality Malay style, and making an effort to communicate with you in Malay, and very positive despite not understanding English. She was probably affected by flood ( banjir) recently. Your kind gesture of giving her the RM100, and not expecting change, was so gratefully received by her, while she also needed assurance, that the money you gave her was earned honestly ( halal, clean) .
Hopefully your video will help her little business with few more customers, without overwhelming her🙂
Mr Davud you are so generous. Thank you very much ❤️👍
🇱🇰🇱🇰😭😭 Kindness overloaded from both. Thanks for helping people Mr. David🙏🙏
Wish you all the best brother, do what u doing brother… you have turned out to be a role model to our self.. mad love from 🇱🇰
She is very humble lady Masha'Allah
Banjir means flood. She no husband and works alone. Laksa is a traditional northern Noodle soup (sour)
Terima-kasih, new favorite word. 👍🏻
Brother u a humble, so she prayed for you, ALLAH BLESS YOU DEAR FRIEND, come to my country india 🇮🇳 south western India, names CHIKMAGALUR, with beautiful mountains n coffee estates
You make her day and give a sincere help, you show to people that if we be kind and helper, this world become very nice. Wish you all the best 🌹🥰❤️🇦🇫🙏
Thanks for this video. Glad to see that u have had a simple lovely time exploring d island.
U probably didn't notice, many small biz were badly affected by d last 2 years of pandemic n lockdown, in fact, some biz didn't survive. Good to see tourists that support d small biz.
Goreng means fry noodles brother I love Malaysia food I'm from beautiful Nepal but before I have work in Malaysia 7 years I hope one day you can visit in Nepal 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵
It takes little to please you, that's your best quality. You only feel sad if someone unnecessarily ignores you. Bless you.
Been to Langkawi many times, Thanks to take me back to this lovely island... We used to have dinner at night @ the Gallo Nero ( black rooster) an italian restaurant the food it's lovely
May God bless you and grant you abundant sustenance. Given good health and protected from all evils
Beautiful video Davud. Love from 🇱🇰. Stay blessed ❤️
In Malaysia yellow coconut is called kelapa gading
RM 5 for green coconut is normal price
It's 2 RM in India
@@user-tns1986 dont compare pricing from other country, thats kind of stupid seriously. Each country goods pricing influence by many things and whats cheap in Malaysia maybe expensive in India and vice-versa.
ABC means Air Batu Campur (Water Ice Mixed Sweet Syrup) Malaysian desert, Banyak Banyak Terima Kasih means Lots of Thank You
Looks like language alone doesn't really unite us. Very nice lady and a very good gesture from you. Hope you enjoy our beloved Malaysia. Safe travels Davud.
Thank you davud you make the auntie happier 👍👏 well done bro ❤️
You're a good, very generous person mr akhundzada. I commend you for trying to interact with the locals but sometimes I find it hilarious, like a chicken talking to a duck! I'm sure if you stay longer in malaysia, you will get the hang of it as the malay language is very easy to learn. The coconut is too young, the flesh is not formed yet. Slightly older, the flesh is thicker but still soft. Terima kasih banyak banyak = thank you very much! thanks a lot!
Voglio parlare la tua lingua madre con te
@@alphatourbaku Aha, I want to speak your mother tongue with you? Uncle google translated for me. Awak dari negara italy kah?

Amazing lady, food stall multi tasking one man show
Go to the tourist centre at each state in malaysia. They may guide you with more cultural activities , events and places to visit. I saw a travellogger did that. Eventhough i am a malaysian, there were many things and places i just discovered by watching the video. Hoping i would be able to visit in the near future.
Alhamdulillah coconut water is very fun to drink
I saw Davud you are very kind & helpful for poor people you are paid everytime extra money for eat or buy

His shop is very isolated and lacks customers and your donation is a blessing for him

Good morning ..... Love from sri Lanka ..🇱🇰
Malaysians are kind people same as Sri Lanka and the food are super deliicious..Enjoy your stay in malaysia.take care stay safe Davud
Bro, Coconut don't have queen or king. It is only coconut. Yellow or green is the coconut breed. Banjir means flood at her stall before. Goreng= fried. Terima kasih banyak-2= Thank you so much.
Coconut RM 5 + Drinking Water RM 2 + Biscuit RM 3.50 . Total RM 10.50 . Poor Lady using Calculator she total up to RM 12.30!!! . Overcharge by RM1.80 !!! I am sure a sincere mistake . But you are so kind . You bless her by paying Rm100 ! So generous of you 💗. God bless you . The caption mentioned your spend US 22 for your stop here . So u gave a very BIG TIP !
Brother you can use Google Translate with Conversation Option so you can record what she says and get it auto translated. Then you talk in English and get it in Malay with audio so she can hear it. It is very efficient actually I use it too.
Most of trees we see similar to SriLanka thanks, ..Hi..Catee...same like sri lanka....amezing
Nice video. But, why the caption says '$22 Coconut in Langkawi'?. It's misleading. As a Malaysian I was shocked to read the caption because a coconut in Malaysia won't be this costly, the price range is between RM3 - RM5 only depending on the type, and nothing more.
Because he's give RM 100 for the woman, RM 100 = $22🤦😹😹🐭
@@Kamar-fz2oi Yes, giving extra and make it as RM100 ($22) is his choice. But, that does not quantify the actual price for the coconut been sold. As a Malaysian, again, I'm saying the caption is misleading, and it's not right! Or, perhaps that's a tactic to attract viewers with misleading caption similar to the video on Langkawi cable trip (?). Maybe, I'm a little over-protective towards my country that no false impression is given just to benefit others.
agree. misleading caption. the coconut only cost $1. 😌
Super nice gentleman
Yes title misleading ... onky RM 5 less than 1 USD .... please change to give the correct info to your viewers.

Brother, King coconut which is orange colored coconut is indigenous to Sri Lanka. 😊
Terima kasih banyak2 Thank you so much/TQVM
Alhamdulillah...
💸💸💸💸 thank you brother good man 😍😍😍👍
I have seen some sellers who have generous to UA-camrs, I have never seen any UA-camrs who have been generous to a seller, except you. Don't forget an easy sunnah to say Bismillah before eating or drinking.
I heard that king coconut which is orange in color and is sweeter in taste is found only in Sri Lanka ? Not 100% sure. Normally a coconut in Sri Lanka costs less than a US dollar.
in malaysia also have that orange color coconut... but majority people in malaysia don't like that type of coconut...
It is also found in Malaysia.
