I love my gold DW 3C MP but have no idea how it’s specification are to a Back 3C.....I can tell you my DW is far easier to play or at least easier to get to upper register than my 3C Bach and has a far better sound...I am wondering if my DW is shallower than my Back 3C, if anyone knows please leave a comment.

I have a 3C too but I am afraid to change to it completely. There is something about most DW trumpet mouthpieces ,different from Bach models that is both better and worse. It's like DW might perform better on stage live for light music but for playing classical studies at home it feels more natural to play on a Bach. It's like a Bach is more a pure bowl shape while a dw 3C looks a little bit like a very rounded square. It probably causes a lot of turbulence at the flat throat and the sound is very bright but it's not a deep lyrical sound . But for playing the "objectiv"e staccato Bitsch etudes it might be better than Bach. The dw 3C is also excellent for me for playing on the street when it's not quiet (festivals) because it cuts more through. For impressing people playing etudes all alone I think a big Bach mp is warmer, rounder (often). But we all want easy high notes and so I am all the time torn between beautiful tone and feel or good high and projection and less good feel. The Bach (a 2C) always wins.

I play a Denis Wick 4AL on euphonium. I use a Bach 5G on trombone but I’m curious in trying a denis wick mouthpiece on my trombone, which mouthpiece is closer to a 5G? A 5AL or a 5BL?

The 5AL should work well. It's available in both Classic and Heritage options. You can find more sizes and details on the Denis Wick App (download from App Store and Google Play, or visit deniswickapp.com)
