As a German, I definitely found the production line very aesthetically pleasing and satisfying to see. Seems like he was right with his intuition that we Germans would like this kind of stuff :D 54:43 in case you are looking for that reference.
Im pretty sure that if you rotate the screen with insert/delete you can see a butthole too. Imagine being the one that designed something almost no one is going to see
Such a beautiful series lowko very good commentary as well it’s so cool to watch such a high level and actually being able to understand the biggest parts of the game I play a little bit but you really know a lot of the mechanics and strong points of good play
My cousin's cousin's cousin's left pinky has nightmares about it where he is trapped in this death chamber. He has to answer a simple question. What is the best way to greet your viewers? He can't answer the question and he's cut off. He looks to the hand as it bleeds, cursing its luck and reminiscing the good days when he was still attached to the hand.
I love these huge macro games, where many groups of units are fighting all over the map as if many people controlled them. In fact, I subbed to you when these kind of games were popular! Great video as always Lowko!
A different channel posted the same game for casting a few days ago . But I was like "Nah, I'm waiting. This game is gonna be so lit, that I want Lowko casting it"
Yeeeesssss 1 hour of Lowko, that’s gonna be an hour of 100% awesomeness Edit: I sadly watched this Series al ready :-( still you cast better than Wardi who did that originally
It's always the second wave of Zerg that is the most dangerous. That is the one that is a new composition tailored around the army you have at that time. To defeat a Zerg, you make sure that second wave is defeated before you trade armies. Removing tech structures, killing queens to stop injects, removing larvae or overlords. Killing their economy enough so a second wave wont come, (but that usually is GG anyway). Defeat the second wave, and then trade armies.
German viewer here and I actually thought to myself that that production line was perfectly placed. The fact that you mentioned Germans being pleased by this was on point and made me smile, ty. :D
theyre pretty alright with queen transfuses unless there are heaps of buildings in the way (not good for dealing with harassment or fighting all the way into the enemy bases)
Whenever Lowko says "He makes it seemingly so easy to play *the specific unit*" then there will be nerf to that unit.:D Like Serral dominating with infesters supported by bloodlords.
Its funny that I started doing way better overall as Zerg when I just stopped going for roaches. I know what you mean by "getting stuck into that transition Lowko" it is hard man just avoid roaches like the plague LOL. Even when countering adepts just get a baneling nest and hide the Banes behind the mineral line. It works 90% of the time and the Toss gets easily baited, just don't do it twice against the same guy.
Been mentioning this a lot Dark usually goes for 6 zerglings as opposed to 4 don't know why but every game I've watched with him against Maru it's always the same. Really love the games between these two, the mind games and the effects of small mistakes can sway the favour of the game.
I think, potentially, that Maru "allows" the fast third hatchery by not blocking it because it sort of dissuades Dark from just going "Oh, you're blocking my third? OK, roach ravager zergling all-in then". Giving the zerg the fast third allows Maru to cut marines, skip the siege tank and get his own third up really fast.
I wonder whether the overlord thing was because he expected Maru to be very aggressive and kill one of his bases shortly after that point in the game. By having the additional supply available and keeping on top of injects he could've quickly ramped up army production, gone in for a very aggressive counter-attack (potentially even a base race), and resupplied again without using precious minerals, larvae, and macro focus on overlords at that critical moment.
I think I agree with the feel about Ultralisks, in the Heart of the Swarm video it shows the Ultras barreling down the road, they stomp on tanks and just mow things down and very little happens to them, in game they kinda... meh, I think even the Ultras in SC1/Brood War were significantly stronger, you could pummel them with all sorts of stuff and their health bar didn't move very fast, SC2 they pop like grapes
Regarding the scv that does not block the third: The reason, I think, is : "Ok, I'm blocking your 3rd, but I'm also losing mining time, and 1scv = 1drone in mining time, so basically, it does nothing that gets me an advantage because the 3rd is gonna happen, and the mining time of that SCV is more valuable for me than blocking a 3rd for 10-20 seconds." So basically, it is terran player's confidence of maximize its ressources value vs "lowering" his opponent timing. And I guess that the Terran prefer to bet on itself rather than a delayed timing of the zerg. I don't know if what I'm saying is making sense, but well...
what league are you in? Ok, so let me tell you something, the only reason to not block your opponents 3rd is to save up on your apm or you know you can't block it for more than 8 seconds. because unlike the other races the entirety of zerg production is centered around there hatcheries and having a hatchery delayed for 10 seconds is much more valuable than the additional minerals the one SCV can bring you.

You should watch the last game they played on the GSL super tournament. Maru basically made Dark shit his pant on the previous and last match of the tournament.
Naw Yellow Submarine is nothing like Steppes of war. The overall map sizes are similar, but Steppes of War is just really "inefficient" with it's layout such that the natural to natural distance is super short, and overall playable area is also much smaller due to large areas of dead space.
@@microqueen69 no, absolutely no you're obviously a StarCraft noob. 10 hours to refine your muscle memory and even one mistake will cost you the game and the money.

no. bio split's and widow mines is better. going air because you can't deal with banelings is probarly the best way to lose the game. you will need to start upgrades for air, get starports, fusion core etc. this is expensive and you wont be able to buy all of that while keeping your army up. meanwhile zerg gets a spire. mass curropter. they can have 20 curropters before your first bc is out. so going air against banelings. no. instead get widow mines. place them down and kide the banes into the widow mines.

I love when high level Terrans build one Viking early. You end map sight by Zerg and might even supply block them.
Even in mid to late game I chase overlords. Whack enough of them while I'm popping hatchs and even if you can afford to replace your army, you can't.
