This is a great way to make a whole meal in just a few short minutes with the Vitamix. The speed of the blades can actually heat ingredients in the container to a boil in just about 8 minutes enabling you to cook various types of soups and other hot recipes.
Soup looks good! Btw I watched a Vitamix video made by the manufacturer and they mentioned to only use the tamper tool to push items down to blades. After doing so they said to remove the tamper as it will affect the natural vortex function of the vitamix. Just wanted to share.
The best recepie i saw so far on the internet.
I would recommend this blender to my worst enemy. Nothing beats it.
Simple and to the point. Good information. Try adding a small amount of corn, a little cilantro, and maybe a handful of corn chips. My daughter loves soup for lunch and she takes this to school in a thermos everyday. Thanks!
I took the time to cook the black beans from scratch instead of canned. That improved the recipe for my taste buds and real health benefits.
Thank you for taking the time to do this video. Very helpful and real world.
mmm just the right time of year to start with the hearty hot soups in the early evening. thank you so much for sharing
I tried your recipe and it is now my favorite soup. Thank you for the video and I encourage others to give it a go.
Thank you for the demonstration. I'm going to make this recipe. I just got an older Vitamix from a friend of mine not to long ago. That's how and why I looked for a video and found your amazingly easy video. My mouth is watering just watching. Bon Appetit!
I bought my vitamix about a year ago and never used it much I have now got in to it so much . Made almond milk must say its yummy the best soup I've made is roast pepper & tomato Now love the vitamix
Need more recipes
Nice video mate, quick and straight to the point! Soup looks amazing....now I just need a Vitamix....hahah!
Simple, good, quick and easy - that video is awesome! Thank you thank you!
Fantastic video! Thanks! The soup looks good! I can't wait to start using my Vitamix. :)
Amazing. exactly the type of recipe i am looking for...hot water, some whatever vegs, blend, add in whatever, pulse and done. soooooo many ideas here to run with. ive heard better than boullion is amazing and thinking it would be great here. taco seasonjng ftw!!! cheers!!
awesome amazing great video. thank you a million times over. I HATE COOKING but i love soup (and i am trying to eat more healthy). THANKYOU FOR TAKING THE TIME!!!!
This looks great!
I just bought a Vita-Mix Creations GC off of qvc as a todays special on in the kitchen with David this passed sunday. So can't wait to try this soup out! Thanks for great video!
So how have you liked your Vita-Mix since you got it 9 years ago? Thinking of buying one. Do you think it’s worth it?
Oh yes I can never use another brand of full sized blender again I have a blendtec too and vitamix is way better for me
Looks delish... Nice video... Love my Vitamix!
Awesome video man, I’m bout a paycheck away from getting my first one, been trying to find recipes before gets here. This will probably be my first one. 2👍👍up Great your channel is dedicated to only Vitamix Recipes.. cool gotcha new Subscriber
Has no on ever heard of chicken vegetable soup? Geese if you don't like the chicken LEAVE IT OUT. What a novel thought.
I am having the Tomato basil right now it is wonderful. Thanks for the video..
Lol right 😆
@@alinacruz421 well yeah pretty easy to not put a ingredient in and chicken and veg soup is well known just vegans being gimps
Thanks for your recipe, I just bought a vitamix yesterday.. Just wondering what speed your vitamix is on when you add the kidney beans and chicken and is it on high or slow? I want to work out how to make a chunky soup. Thanks :-)
I have been using Vitamix machines for the better part of 9 years and the tamper can in fact speed up the suction of the blades when it is properly used while the machine is running. It usually works better with thicker mixtures to pull the contents down into the blades by moving the tamper in an up and down motion. As long as there are no air pockets that form in the mixture the tamper can be a very handy tool to have when using frozen ingredients.
I enjoyed the video and the soup.
An excellent recipe!
yumm i cant wait to get my vitamix and try this out!
vitamix is a god send.
Pulse the solid ingredients until they are coarsely chopped then you can turn up the speed with out using the tamper to push the vegetables down.
Thanks dude... This will convince me of buying it!
for vegetarian/vegan, you may want to switch miso paste for the chicken bullion.
Excellent. Thanks!
Great video!
question; if you were buying a blender, would you buy a vitamix or a blendtec?
appreciated.
Thank you so much for the video
I have a Vitamix knockoff. I just put cold water in it and ran it on high for five minutes. It got hot. Not boiling hot but pretty warm. I'll maybe put warm water in when I make soup. Thanks!!
Hell yeah I need to get me one of these machines pronto!!
Please do purchase one. My Vot A mix has lasted since the 80s. The newer ones are far better and more advanced.
When my vitamix arrives, this will be one of the first recipes I will try ! Thank You!
That was great!! Thanks for sharing..I will try that:-)
@PapillonPower Well that's a given, the broth is raw is what I meant. The cooked chicken and beans are optional. You can throw in a raw tomato or cabbage on the low speed to get some good raw texture in the soup and keep it completely raw.
Great video, thanks brother
this looks yummy
This is awesome. Gonna change my life.
Lol nice sarcasm. I though similarly: this is just another mediocre video from someone who thinks every boring thing he does is worth a publication.
Chicken broth equals stock cube ??? omg.
*****
***** I'm sure it's worth it to you. That's exactly my point.
@@RuudJH get gone pal you ain't know why he does em it's so people who can actually afford one know what they can do and how
@@jgilly3362 haha you must have been top dog in your classroom
Many people doing demonstrations leave the tamper in the container -- this hinders the blending by interfering with the vortex that the container produces in order to keep the ingredients circulating to the blades properly.
What kind of bouillon do you use?
Is the water cold already? I get confused with different recipes.
the vitamix was a show at the costco store
nice one!!
Awesome Soup VITAMIX BLENDER SOUP
How i make soup warm?
And how i.make sure my smoothie dont get warm
What model is this?
Nice!
CAN YOU MAKE THIS IN THE 48 OZ WET/DRY CONTAINER?
Thanks bro for video
So cool
EXCELLENT seems a bit loud?
Bullion has a lot of MSG... FYI
Awsome
I do vegan, too, but I use a Not-Chick'n broth cube with freshly-picked veggies from our organic garden. AMAZING!
vitamix is at costco
so many triggered vegetables in the comments upset over the chicken, lmao
Yes so what if he had chicken cube. His soup his choice
reminds me of t he time I went to a restaurant in the US and asked for meat free dishes ...and was offered chicken, which was not considered MEAT apparently she was dead set straight faced too LOL but thanks for the demo
How exactly is the soup steaming? Is there a heating element in the thing or it's actually just cause the blades are spinning that fast? There must be a heating thing...
Yeah, 25,000+ RPM, it's the friction of the blades against the contents of the soup.
NiplesTV the vitamin 5200 go to 37,000 rpm not 25,000 rpm
well he said 25,000+ (note the +)
No heating element at all. It's the speed of the blades
How much do these blenders cost..
spunkmonkey5000 I bought mine for about 550$ check groupon get a refurbished one the company is amazing if they do break. these usually last 22 years on average
Dude, thats freaking awesome..I want a Vitamix, but dang, they cost an arm, leg, and a left nut.
you can still conduct business without your left nut CF!!
So does a phone, a gaming system, and other stuff you might buy. It's worth it because it gives you more options to eat food.
Buy rebuilt with warranty...
the vitamix was a show at the costco store duh it was my mistake
Tip of the day: Don't blend with the tamper in as it disrupts the vacuum caused by the blades.
For people complaining about meat you realise not everyone who gets a vitamix has to be vegan its also for people who would like to become more healthy in which you will do just cause you are vegan and he isnt doesnt mean you cant just not put the meat in wow grow up he did everything right you aint gotta reason to complain
that is bad ass.
except for the chicken :p
To better control the amount of salt, leave out the bullion cube and save yourself about 1000 mg's of salt. Instead just add salt to taste.
How can it be a vegetable soup when you put chicken in it?
Rakesh Parmar how did I know you were brown before looking at your name lollll
He should have called it chicken and veg soup.
I don’t doubt it’s good. But I’m not sure I would make soup. Although vitamix are used at restaurants, I wonder what a real chef would think about this method. Compared to making it in a pot; wait until breaks boil, season it, etc. Im talking about the composition of the Soup when boils on fire than the blender, that changes flavoring.(if it does) otherwise great blender though.
Johnny J I work in a (relatively) high end Gastro Pub, and our chef swears by the texture this gives, however, would always use our homemade stock!
🥰🥘🍲
are u the dad of Evan??
toosad when you were pushing it and turned it to liquid
I would leave the chicken out and make it vegan but otherwise it looks good :)
No one cares what you would do.
Soup like a fucking boss.

Blend tech gets lower reviews. Check consumer reports

Damn people, so he put chicken in it. Have you every heard of beef stew? Guess what? IT has vegetables in it - but the name of it doesn't require a full description. Like "Beef, tomato, bean, broth, seasoning stew". o_O
+•• BPDrafting •• People complain about weird things
This is UA-cam where most of the people are assholes. They can't help it.
MSGliscous
veg soup with chicken! lol
you know the anti oxidants in your vegetables are oxidized the longer you blend. two to three minutes is waaaayyyyy too much
+Josh Wilson How long then?
duh it was my mistake
vegetable soup!!! lol!!! more like chicken soup lol
show
HE SAYS VEGETABLE SOUP AND THEN HE ADDS CHICKEN....GEEEEESH!!
He's cooking, his choice! The vitamix is good for using small leftovers and food that's sat too long. Less spoilage, less money wasted.
shoot
Good recipe except it's not "vegetable" soup if you add chicken/meat.
Vegetable soup with vegetarian 🐔 what à 🃏 lol.
Hahahaha, this would be great for a college student who's trying to eat healthy and inexpensive. Lol! You don't even need an apron. Well, some people might.
Dude that is NOT a bunch of vegetables lol
Nice vid, I think it's chicken soup at this point
Wouldn't you rather recommend a crappy blender to an enemy?
***WARNING***: making a soup letting the blades process the food at high
speed for minutes will leach inorganic chromium and nickel into the
food, more so if the soup is acidic (tomato), this happens also in
normal SS cookware: (
www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4284091/ ).
We are
talking about hours of cooking time in this study but the high speed and
force of the blades have the potential to leach those metal faster, how
much faster idk but TITANIUM would be a far better option.
yawn. nobody cares.
It's a chicken and vegetable soup not a vegetable soup
He put chicken in this veg soup
He's making it to his taste, the beauty of cooking at home!
Clickbait veg soup.😂
Never use water as a soup base!
gnjk
I like how you made the soup. But I would not call it a vegetable soup because you added chicken!!! Thanks
its chicken soup not only vegetable. Rename video
Grow up obviously he said hes putting that in which means nobody else has to it will still be a beautiful soup be positive and you will soon feel better once consumed
