Breeding factor, it also needs to heavily be considered *how much* of S.N.T's DNA is sonic, as well as knuckles and Tails. If we assume they're split evenly, then there are two other gene pools to account for, so reproductively there wouldn't be all too risky (considering a lack of new DNA is the reason birth defects increase with inbreeding) Another huge factor that's being overlooked is also Eggman's actual influence, looking at the evidence in the comic -SNT is a girl, which isn't very sensical considering all of her DNA comes from men -SNT has the ability to use item boxes and presumably recode her bloody DNA down to natural abilities (like flying with her tail) I invested way too much time thinking about this, but make your conclusions as you will So there's a big possibility that SNT's very being is simply a base, while Sonic, knuckles and tails' DNA were simply added onto, like the item box. This would imply that rather than being born from sonics DNA, she was "fed" it of sorts, giving her said abilities.
Not to mention him and Shadow some how surviving falling from orbit and crash landing on a planet without cushioning for impact, or anything to slow them down, or protect them from burning up in atmosphere.. Like Unleashed literally starts with Sonic being violently thrown out of orbit, slamming back on Earth, and then he got up and was walking around like nothing happened.. Also came back from the dead, guess its confirmed that Sonic is a roach-

My headcanon is that Eggman just really, REALLY hates plexiglass so he made SNT hate it too. So much in fact, that its in her genetic code that if she even touches plexiglass she explodes. At the very beginning of the comic, when SNT got shot out of the explosion, she had touched plexiglass for the first time. That's why she didn't want to break it. Even if Sonic broke it she might have touched the broken glass or stuff idk.

And every time Eggman tried to correct the mistake it just wouldn’t budge! Leaving the base relatively flawless except that glaring hole in it…gee hope no one takes advantage of it and sneaks in. *Sonic easily fits through said hole in the background*
So out of curiosity I decided to find out how much force it would take to destroy the plexiglass, and how much force it would've taken to make that hole that SNT made in Eggman's base. Plexiglass is 17 times stronger than glass, which requires 20000 to 24000 psi to break, so taking the higher number that's 408000 Psi needed for the plexiglass. For the hole in the wall however, I had more trouble, I had to estimate how deep the hole was based on the view in the first Pannel of Eggman's base (there seems to dirt on the floor leading from a point so I'm assuming that's where the hole is), and estimating the thickness of the wall to be about the width of a barrel, and assuming it's a concrete wall... Thats 1.6 MILLION psi. Again, this is just more of a rough estimate (this doesn't even take into account the pressure of the earth above the base), but still, SNT should've had no problem against the plexiglass after making that hole. How much time did I just waste on this?
Honestly, with this whole series, give ur young self some credit: yes there's cringe and nonsensical plot, but you got a lot of good comedic timing and Sonic esc dialogue in there lol. It brings back memories when I tried to write a Sonic book when I was around 10, except it features myself and essentially had me saving everyone in the Sonic universe lmao. At least you had an oc. Glad you were brave enough to unleash this on the internet, the comic and ur reactions/commentary are priceless.
Coming back to this video is funny now because the IDW comics established that Eggman does in fact have literally dozens of abandoned bases filled with random old projects he doesn't remember.

9:03 Okay I've been watching this video over and over for years now. And I'm a fairly advanced artist and writer at this point. Even after all this time I honsetly think that 4th wall joke is unironically hilarious. Every time I see this joke it still gets a chuckle or even a smile out of me. This is definitely my favorite line in this comic. Also, from an artist's perspective, Cream at 14:28 is definitely the best thing drawn in this comic. Like, it actually looks fairly decent, especially for someone who was a preteen at the time. In fact, a lot of the panels in the last act of the comic are noticeably better than the earlier parts of this comic. I know this took you a year to finish, so it makes total sense that in that timeframe you'd improve. Even though this comic is, yes, pretty damn bad, I can appreciate the fact that your art was already making progress even at this very early stage. I can compare how you drew the characters to the cover and can see a decent amount of improvement. Also, I also wanna say, for a preteen designing their first OC, SNT's design is actually, and I'm not kidding, AMAZING. While she is a Mary sue, she definitely isn't designed like one. Even with her first design, she actually looks like she would fit perfectly into the Sonic cannon. And honestly, I think her backstory of her being an experiment by Dr. Eggman infusing Sonic, Knuckles and Tails' DNA in her is actually super creative and a really interesting backstory. If you had executed this backstory well in your writing I definitely feel like SNT could be pulled off extremely well. I can't believe you came up with something so interesting and well-designed when you weren't even a teenager yet. I also think this comic honestly isn't that bad at all. I mean, yeah its bad but it's not downright horrible in any way. It's just the fact that you can tell you were a beginner artist and writer. I'd honestly say the writing is worse than the art, but even that, the only part that actually gets me to physically cringe is where SNT flirts with Sonic, and even then I do think its (somewhat) saved by the sitting in the tree joke. Everything else either makes no sense the characters are out of character. Overall, I honsetly would say this comic isn't nearly as bad as you think. I've seen way worse. For this to be your first large project, and I'm assuming one of the first things you wrote and one of the earliest things you ever drew, this is actually not that bad. I definitely applaud you for that.
i remember loving this video when it first came out deep into mary sue cringe culture; the cynical and incessant snarks on the absurdity of snt's character and actions made me laugh along with it. seeing this again 8 years later made me realise how much i unironically adore snt and your comic. her sarcasm, her condescending demeanor seemingly existing for no reason other than stirring the pot, sonic being dumbed down to a bumbling idiot in order to highlight snt's capabilities and how she can solve anything, amy's flat "i'm in love with sonic and that's my only trait" characterization, and the fact that cream is genuinely the smartest (and most adorable) character is the only constant between the sonic canon and snt's world. the humor is impeccable and reminds me so much of sonic boom. this is a pure, unadulterated artistic masterpiece and i hope you know it tag yourself as your favorite snt quote: i'm "you know, a cage is so medieval times"
I hope you know that by sharing your childhood you made my childhood, the first time I watched this - eight years ago, I was eight years old, or nine - but I'm fifteen now. the cringe sonic oc you made inspired me to create my own OCS, and whenever I felt my oc was cringe I would remember SNT, and keep in mind it was fine to have cringe OCS I could build off of, so I just wanted to thank you for the ripple effect this single video - the only video I have ever watched of your account for having such a strong impact on my life.

Girl, imma be completed honest here. THIS IS IMPRESSIVELY GOOD FOR A FIRST COMIC MADE BY A CHILD. SERIOUSLY. I say this because I also was into sonic when i was a kid and also drew a bunch of comics about it. And i can say you younger self ABSOLUTELY NAILED IT, OKAY?! I even feel embarrassed now for my cringey old comics that i thought they were ultra cool and mature for a kid lol😭 But seriously, the story and the communication between the characters really felt like an official episode from a sonic show or some sorta thing, you know? And the dedication to draw and put colour on each panel is impressive, cuz my anxious kiddo ass couldn't wait a whole day to get my comics finished. The VAs did and INSANELY GREAT JOB!!! I didn't notice SNT was voiced by you, so i was shocked when i found that out! I didn't know you could change your voice so much and do such an amazing voice acting! I loved the sound effects, the lil soundtrack and the effort to bring this old comic to life. It’s been five years and I rewatch the series like 34 times per year and I only now just noticed that even though the writing is in bubbles, the words are written on the lines.
I have a theory on how snt became from sassy girl to a shy person. First she was sassy but after time sonics friends (mostly cream and Amy) started roasting her back at every sassy thing she said and cause of this she stopped and slowly became more shy .
literally most nostalgic video ive ever seen i watched this video as an 8 year old and thought "oh, i should create a sonic oc and make a whole comic about it!!" and so i did. and i have courtney to thank for this

I actually really enjoyed this! Mostly for the wrong reasons, yes, but even so... Also, the fact that none of the characters would shut up is actually very in line with pretty much every 3D Sonic game, so don't beat yourself up too much over that.

Even though this comic is, yes, pretty damn bad, I can appreciate the fact that your art was already making progress even at this very early stage. I can compare how you drew the characters to the cover and can see a decent amount of improvement.
Also, I also wanna say, for a preteen designing their first OC, SNT's design is actually, and I'm not kidding, AMAZING. While she is a Mary sue, she definitely isn't designed like one. Even with her first design, she actually looks like she would fit perfectly into the Sonic cannon. And honestly, I think her backstory of her being an experiment by Dr. Eggman infusing Sonic, Knuckles and Tails' DNA in her is actually super creative and a really interesting backstory. If you had executed this backstory well in your writing I definitely feel like SNT could be pulled off extremely well. I can't believe you came up with something so interesting and well-designed when you weren't even a teenager yet.
I also think this comic honestly isn't that bad at all. I mean, yeah its bad but it's not downright horrible in any way. It's just the fact that you can tell you were a beginner artist and writer. I'd honestly say the writing is worse than the art, but even that, the only part that actually gets me to physically cringe is where SNT flirts with Sonic, and even then I do think its (somewhat) saved by the sitting in the tree joke. Everything else either makes no sense the characters are out of character.
Overall, I honsetly would say this comic isn't nearly as bad as you think. I've seen way worse. For this to be your first large project, and I'm assuming one of the first things you wrote and one of the earliest things you ever drew, this is actually not that bad. I definitely applaud you for that.

i remember loving this video when it first came out deep into mary sue cringe culture; the cynical and incessant snarks on the absurdity of snt's character and actions made me laugh along with it. seeing this again 8 years later made me realise how much i unironically adore snt and your comic. her sarcasm, her condescending demeanor seemingly existing for no reason other than stirring the pot, sonic being dumbed down to a bumbling idiot in order to highlight snt's capabilities and how she can solve anything, amy's flat "i'm in love with sonic and that's my only trait" characterization, and the fact that cream is genuinely the smartest (and most adorable) character is the only constant between the sonic canon and snt's world. the humor is impeccable and reminds me so much of sonic boom. this is a pure, unadulterated artistic masterpiece and i hope you know it

Girl, imma be completed honest here. THIS IS IMPRESSIVELY GOOD FOR A FIRST COMIC MADE BY A CHILD. SERIOUSLY. I say this because I also was into sonic when i was a kid and also drew a bunch of comics about it. And i can say you younger self ABSOLUTELY NAILED IT, OKAY?! I even feel embarrassed now for my cringey old comics that i thought they were ultra cool and mature for a kid lol😭 But seriously, the story and the communication between the characters really felt like an official episode from a sonic show or some sorta thing, you know? And the dedication to draw and put colour on each panel is impressive, cuz my anxious kiddo ass couldn't wait a whole day to get my comics finished. The VAs did and INSANELY GREAT JOB!!! I didn't notice SNT was voiced by you, so i was shocked when i found that out! I didn't know you could change your voice so much and do such an amazing voice acting! I loved the sound effects, the lil soundtrack and the effort to bring this old comic to life.
