Marine Weather and race navigation experts give a fascinating and invaluable two part presentation. Part one featured an overview of N2B race weather including big picture and historical weather and Gulf Stream considerations and discussed the historical weather trends for the Newport to Bermuda race. Part two is a look at race strategy and performance from the perspective of the nav station including race preparation, instruments, sailing team communication, electronics and safety. The goal is to educate the listeners on the typical weather to expect for the race along with providing insight on how to integrate this information into their onboard navigational approach.
