While this is one of the most affordable guitar amps I've ever bought, is it any good? It's not exactly packed with features, but then a good practice amp doesn't have to be. As it turns out, this was my shortest review ever.

I find Elmo very easy to pronounce!! My first amp was a Peavey (it had 20 in the name, but I think it was only 13 watts) back in the early 80s, and it sounded amazing until I had it serviced. It was never the same again. So I bought a Studio Pro 112 which I still have because it sounds really good. It was never as popular as its brother, the Bandit, though

I have a Kustom Tube 12A as a practice amp that I bought off of a guy in a carpark here in Ireland a couple of years for €40 (maybe even 20 but we'll say 40 as I'm not sure) and it sounds fantastic with my pedals. Don't think they're available anymore but maybe a good brand to look into, or maybe if they can be gotten second hand.
EDIT: My pedals are mainly mooer micro pedals but have an ammoon American Sound added recently.

Thing is, they actually make some decent affordable pedals...but this amp definitely isn't it.

I have the 40 and it sounds really good
It looks similar to the 10 watt First Act amp I have but that one isn't as bad . I have fun with the overdrive channel on it and the equalization knobs actually sound like they do something haha . I also have a Line 6 Spider 3 which is much better .
I've got a similar 10 watt amp. It's a Burswood G-10. I picked it up at a closing Radio Shack for the price of a lunch. It was a stupid purchase, but I still don't regret it. The amp works. Happy New Year!
Have you tried the HA-40R with a Bugera 10 Speaker? It seams to have a nice clean and even overdrive tones for practicing.

Oh my that was brutal, for a practice amp on a budget I would go with the BOSS Katana MIni over that any day,

Do the Champion 100 and an Ampeg bass amp (for guitar)
Maybe a full on attack Hendrix style with the headstock of a cheap strat copy would help ?

I have the Behringer HA-20R and that's a good practice amp, better than my Blackstar ID core 10 v3, i think the HA-40R will sound even better than the HA-20R but that's definitely too loud for an apartment
When carrying a switched-off device HA-20R, the vibration noise of the reverb spring is heard, is this normal?

Try their GAMMA line, maybe the G25.
Ouch :D Perhaps compare this amp to an oold used Peavey bandit 112 or similar (for same/just a bit more money as this plasticbox), that is solid, loud, giggable and sounds.. nice compared to the Behringer?)) Wouldn't that be a fun video helping put things in perspective for the young/new generation of guitarists out there (on a budget?) :)
I was thinking of buying that amp, mainly because I like the design and presumed, it being 'Behringer', it would be ok as a lot of their products are good value. However, that sounds as bad as anything I've ever heard and, like you, it reminded me of the days when I couldn't afford anything usable. It sounded awful though you're clearly a good player. I'd still get one if I found it in a skip and would convert it into a small storage cupboard. Thank you for an honest review.

Wow, just wow. I think that sounded 10x worse than the crappy little Peavey practice amp I had in the 90s. Thank you for making this review because I was just looking at that amp on Amazon. I thought it could make a little travel amp. Yuck!!

I usually try to find something positive to say but this one is hard.... well at least it looks somewhat like an amp. You cannot expect a lot for 75 bucks but this one really hurts the ears. And even if you just want to go by the looks, there is a similar Marshall for 77 bucks. And if you just spend a few bucks more there are some sonically much nicer options.

That was rough. As soon as I listened to the clean tone, I thought "this ain't gonna work". I own a Kustom Dart 10 amp that sounds way better IMO (and we're talking about cheap of the cheapest here)

Test amp but i see man&guitar .. how could i know the setting on the amp :control knobs ..Poor review ..hope to see the better testing things..and you should learn some jazz for more vision..(fan of this channel from Thailand)

Don't be bustin' on Behringer... this amp do sucketh... ;) but the vast majority of Behringer products are bang for the buck...!
They do have some good stuff as well.
Now that’s just sad. 😂 There are so many amps you can get that are so much better for just a tiny bit more. I feel like anyone who’s willing to save just a little more and get something 150-200 USD or Euro will get something infinitely better than this junk…

Best low price mini amp by far conceptually is thJOYO JAM BUDDY.
Mine has been durable2. Makes a great bluetooth speaker. Has 2 foot pedals can be charged played anywhere can be played while accompany a song.
In thfuture all amps will be built mirroring Jam Buddy. Larger amps will be a foot council with 2 seperate speakers u place either side of your room for STEREO and they will have surround sound..
