Need to do mine. Don’t know whether I’ll do gears or motor, but your video seemed to be very detailed and hopefully helpful whichever way I go. Thanks.

Hey man so my left headlight makes that noise when it goes down completely and I can see the knob on the motors still spinning then it’ll eventually stop. Does that mean I should replace the whole motor or just the gear?
Using your video right now on my C5

Do you have a voltage tester? You might have an electrical issue.

75% chance its just the gears gone bad. If the motors are moving then most times they are golden and have enough power to do their job
Great explanation about to tackle it thanks again I got a 2004C5 silver
Thanks! Hope everything goes smooth for ya
Thanks for the upload Bro! Thumbs up from me... Stay safe... Rico ('01 Millennium Yellow C5)
Appreciate ya checking out the video! 👊
What if my headlight knob is broken? I can't manually raise it
You'd have to disconnect the arms first I'd assume 🤔
i had to take a screwdriver to it and turn it that way
(for anyone else running into this issue)
This helped out a lot! Thanks!
You bet!!
