I went to Poly High from 1964 until 1968 and this fight song was always the fight song I remember,If the USC fight song happened to be the Poly High fight song before this one,then I am very glad they changed the song--because the USC fight song is terrible. I do not ever remember the Poly High Band playing "Dixie".

Class of 65 here. Marching 100. I don't remember "Dixie" being played, I remember Richland Rebels playing it.

It was changed because USC sent a cease and desist letter. The tune is the same as their fight song.
