We somehow played this in my highschool 6 years ago it was like huge LAN parties and all the teachers got so pissed lmao. It was like some type of website that let us download and host.
That or we played that one tank game where you had to figure out your trajectory with like 20 different weapons (1v1 and it was usually on the same comp). I honestly can't remember the name of it lol..
@@Phvsics that’s awesome brother miss those days lmao. Teachers were so mad at us they ended up banning halo from our highschool. Mind you there were over 1300 kids lmao
No no no no! They're playing Halo totally wrong. Completely wrong! This is absurd, where is the banana peels and the Jenga towers! How dare they! They must have been 343 puppets grooming their way steal Halo from Bungie! /s I watch this with nostalgia, as I remember so many LAN centers having 1v1 and 4v4 tournaments happening all the time back then. I can't believe the Halo Community has the audacity to pretend Halo was never "a" competitive game whilst their attributes only unfolded post Bungie's departure, not during the original days of this game. Thanks for the upload. Hopefully others see it after they wonder "Did I get grifted by ActMan and Favyn".
@QUAD DAMAGE The problem is that people grift the living sh** out of Halo because there is a group of insecure players who "want" the game to fail so it can remain a niche that they can play when "they feel bad at other games", they can tell people "Time to play Halo, the game where I don't need to feel bad at". Meanwhile, Halo CE was incredibly competitive at a LAN environment, Halo 2 and Halo 3 were INSANELY competitive online (Impossible to not be told to 1v1 someone, which legitimately came from Halo, along with the teabag for body disrespect for when you beat someone), and the worst contender that's often an opposing take: Halo Reach and 4 were the most non-competitive variations of Halo to exist, permitting Forge as the "primary focus" to play, and those titles had a concurrent user a month after launch of 1,000 - 3,000 players peak...and they "had forge, theater and custom games" working at launch.
@@anonymous7564 I don't really see how Bungie's Halo trilogy being competitively viable is a knock against Favyn. Pretty sure his main argument is advocating for the games' modularity, not for them to be casual only. The more simple the core player traits, the more flexibility both developers when making the games, and players using custom games and/or forge have to make their games both casual and competitve.
This game is literally just slower quake, legit masterpiece and the most balanced Halo.
funny story some of the maps are copies of quake if you pay close attencion Chill Out is one of em

What a game, Halo CE…i’m dying of nostalgia 😭
Don't: playing it daily here. MCC still pulls social 4v4 matches for CE in under 30 seconds.

I was 8 when this was happening holy fook
I was 4 lol
I was 13 lol
How was Zyos that great when he's been killed twice within 5 mins
(1) This is against Ogre 2.
(2) The meta for Halo was brand new and the skill curve hadn't grown to what it is today.
(3) Zyos would push your hole.

Bro, we used to play CE in our computer classes. It was either a CS day or a Halo day. Maybe a starcraft day, but it mostly revolved around CE.

None of these guys could ever beat the ogres 2v2 TS to 50 in CE which is what actually mattered.
they are not allowed to pick up rockets or something?
