Probably "Red," but that could change, depending on my mood. Awesome seeing young people such as yourself being exposed to and appreciating this awesome music! 👍 🤟
Need more from this drummer? 😁Try Yes "Heart of the Sunrise", Bruford "One of a Kind", Earthworks "My Heart Declares a Holiday", King crimson "Indiscipline" and want him live? Try Genesis "Cinema Show" live from their album Seconds Out, with Bruford on duet with an "unknown" drummer named Phil Collins....
I would suggest 2 songs from King Crimson's 1982 album 'Beat'. They are titled The Howler and Neurotica. I would also recommend side two of their 1984 album 'Three of a Perfect Pair'. I have been enjoying your discovery of King Crimson so far, there is much more amazing music to discover. Thanks!
Robert Fripp should watch your reaction because I'm certain that he would love the way his song made you feel. It is beautiful, especially the Mellotron playing in the background creating the atmosphere.
Robert Fripp is a virtuoso and he experimented a lot with electronic effects added to his guitars, some of it he Named Frippertronics or a word like that
Starless is a masterpiece! The Crimson trilogy of Larks, Starles and Red sounds so good! The production is perfect in my opinion. Drums sound great and the playing is excellent!
So few of us ladies into prog. I was at 17 and saw King Crimson live! Best line up for me is Fripp, Bruford, Wetton, McDonald and Cross. They made you cry and opened our minds. Enjoy. Checkout Emerson Lake and Palmer my other fave Prog band I saw live! Good luck for your channel!
Thanks so much for this video. This is one of my favorite reactions of all time! You helped me feel like i was listening to my favorite song for the first time.
This is #1 of my prospects as the best epic rock song ever written. My view does change, but there isn't many (in terms of "Epic") from the late 70s till now. There's one, but that's a whole other video. God bless.
KC’s elongate ambitious 12-minute prima materia apotheosis.
Not a progcore King Crimson fanatic. Tho revitalized to witnessed and experienced "The Court Of The Crimson King" debut UK tour (prototypical members) prototypical introduced to prog rock/metal through various obscure British bands, "Fruupp" supported headliner mainstream artists. King Crimson - Genesis - Syd Barrett co-founder (Pink Floyd). Multi-instrumentalist Ian McDonald co-founder (King Crimson) produced Fruupp - "Modern Masquerades" fourth conclusion studio record (1975).
This is my favourite track from Red. The late great John Wetton's voice and bass playing is superb. When you have Bill Bruford on drums, you know you're in for a treat. We can't forget Mel Collins' sublime soprano sax. He was meant to rejoin King Crimson as a full time member; however, Robert Fripp instead had a brain fart and disbanded the band. 🤯 The mystery instrument is a mellotron. Starless is, without a doubt, a work of genius. 🎷🎸🎹🥁😁
I can remember back in 1970, being a senior in high school, all my classmates thought I was weird because of this kind of music. Nope! They were weird 🤣
What an astounding musical expression of depression. KC is notorious for blocking. Too bad that you had to cut so much of it. Such a fine, epic, and sorrowful tune.
If you have a good sound system, and if you listen very closely at the end, you can hear them shut down the amps. A brilliant piece of musicianship...a masterpiece. Keep listening. ✌😎
Fantastic album! What's your favorite song?

Starless
Starless and Epitah
Suspense (tension) and then exhilaration (release) is the King Crimson formula. It makes for good listening.
probably my favourite song period, not just on this album. also greatest outro ever.
X2
I listen to this when I'm on a plane taking on. The section at 6:22 I try to time with takeoff lol
Love your reaction. One of the best prog rock songs ever made, for sure!
Brilliant song. Bruford the legend on drums. Played for Yes before he jumped to King Crimson.
Bill Bruford played with countless people and groups, all of them excellent. He is legend. I have been lucky to see him play in concert several times.
FINALLY!!

I would say 'Starless' is my favorite song until you asked me tomorrow than it would be 'Red.' In other words I can't say!
Same! 😫
@@neonskepetunije Fracture is probably tied for their best. Plus, it was recorded live.
I couldn’t say it better

Wonderful perceptive reactions! I first heard this music in the 70s and its power has diminished not a whit! 👍🏻👍🏼👍🏾

The drummer Bill Bruford was in Yes, and you NEED to hear them do "Heart of the Sunrise."
Thanks so much for the recommendation, I'll check to out!
Fenomenalno, bend super izbor pesme odlican, performans super, samo me brine da li Rasinku boli glava❤❤❤❤
Took a lot of acid to this a few years ago. Lots of Alien like visuals.
The album “ Lark’s Tongues In Aspic”, King Crimson.
I can remember back in 1970, being a senior in high school, all my classmates thought I was weird because of this kind of music. Nope! They were weird 🤣
Bruford played in the band Yes he toured with Genesis once
This is my favorite song of all time. As morbid as it may sound, i want it to be played at my funeral.
It is a Mellotron it is a keyboard with tapes of of various instruments or voices
Ah ok, thanks for letting me know!
You like what the drummer does. Its Bill Bruford. If you want to pick the best drummer ever, he’s a strong candidate. He played in Yes, UK, and solo
try....King crimson--indicipline----live in mexico city......Can be found on youtube, and features 3 drummers.
Thanks for the recommendation 😊
I have shown this to friends and they just did not get it. my fav Crimson piece.
