I ramble a lot in this video! Ultimately, I was trying to express my immense gratitude for you. 🙏 Thank you for your encouragement and kindness. 😘 I hope someday to make a video about WHY I started UA-cam as a way to work through the grief. I was just able to write about it in the post for this video as an Early Access for Patreon Patrons. I feel my heart healing with each baby step I make. YOU are a huge part of my healing and I thank you.
I hope you get to see Lara some day in a future concert. She still has power and soul at 51. I think she travels with less of a symphony these days but her career has been outstanding always.
The parisian public is known to be one of the most difficult publics in the world. Once you are accepted in Paris, you know you will be accepted in the rest of the planet, and if the public loves you, it will tell you directly with no shame, like a smash in your face. That's the case here, the whole crowd just expresses how much it loves her. They even transformed the lyrics into " on t'aime", we love you Lara! Lara receives all this loves in her face and we can understand how much it can be emotional. When the public started to sing, a girl said "c'est pour toi Lara" =this is for you Lara. In response, you can see that she is addressing the words of the song directly to the public " je t'aime". Pfffeeew !!! What an emotion, that we can also feel! Once you have seen that in your career, you can die! Lara is the only one that can give us such chilling moments and she is also the best singer in the world, just listening to her interpretation of Caruso or Je suis malade!
Good evening. Sorry for my poor english. I just wanted to tell you I was touched by what you say at the end of the video. I really think you are a good person and I only heard good things from you concerning artists. I follow you from France since this pandemic began and I appreciate all of your comments and the émotion you give us. Thanks again for your kind words, your smile and how it is such a good émotion to listen to you. Have a great day. Andre.
What's wonderful is that the chorus in French means "I love you" and that the crowd instead is singing "We love you" and Lara normally would belt this song much louder, but instead chooses to sing more softly around the crowd and for the chorus she waits for them to say "we love you" first and answers them back with "i love you", so she is delaying her phrase a bit for the crowd, so she is basically adapting her vocals on the fly to not impede the crowd's involvement... Pure genius!!!
I was there the night this video was taped. Before the show, a delegation of fans when to see the pianist and the musical director to arrange the whole thing of all signing the song before Lara does so. They agreed to that proposition. And as you saw at the beginning, Lara was in no way aware of that situation and graciously followed with us.
Thank you so much for sharing this! It gives a whole new layer to the way Lara seems to look at the pianist in wonder, at the very beginning. Ooooh I love everything and everyone about this so much!♥️♥️♥️♥️
God Bless every one of you who were there and gave her this beautiful gift of love at exactly the time when she needed it this most! Humanity at its best!!!
It's really beautiful how she puts a - personal and emotional layer - on top of it. Big Kudos to the piano player as well. He picked it up perfectly, while being surprised as well. This is such a wonderful moment. A tear jerker coming form an 62-year old coot. It bl$$dy hell is. I'm old enough to have disliked her (Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, ... not exactly Lara :-) ). Anyway (think what you like, just keep the Boo-word to yourselves). I actually saw her live several times but could not appreciate what a story teller she is. I stand totally corrected ....
Don't be sorry because you chose a different path in life and couldn't be a Lara Fabian. Without people like you (the teachers/vocal coaches) there will be no Lara Fabian in the future. I love your comments.
Our singer-songwriters work a lot on their music , even if you don't understand French, you'll love the song . Try : mylene Farmer - California . (I'm a Big fan of A-ha btw) 🇨🇵 🤝 🇳🇴
Lara Fabian is a warm hearted, very emotional singer, who has the capability to put all her emotions in a song. In a very dark time in my live I watch a lot of videos on UA-cam and found her interpretation of Serge Lama‘s song „Je suis malade“ without subtitles. Btw I am a German guy and don’t speak French. I know a few words and phrases only. So I understood the title of the song, but not the whole song. I never heard and I think I will never hear such a song with so much emotions, that I could feel these emotions physically. And it touched my heart. Short while later I found the video with french and English subtitles. And now I understood the whole song and it affected me more. A few days later I found the video of her concert in Paris 2001. I searched for the German lyrics on internet to understand this song too. Also I heard, that her fans didn’t sing je suis malade. So i searched for this video with subtitles and found it too. Thanks to babelfish(a translation site) I understood everything. The result was: It healed my sick and broken heart. Due to her and her fans I am nearly healthy again. Since this time I am a great fan. Later I wrote, that she was in the same situation as me and her fans showed her the light of the life. THANK YOU TO ALL OF THEM
my sister was there and i must tell you what happened . as someone already told you Lara was having a very tough time. the fans knew it and some of them went to meet Lara's artistic director that is also the pianist here. they told him what they wanted to give her. He agreed. My sister didn't knew anything about it at this moment but when she was in the crowd before the beginning of the concert there in the public an information was circulating quickly and seriously and then my sister was told (as others) to be ready at signal to sing :"Je t'aime" for Lara. Now about the beginning of the video. Lara take position and the pianist starts to play the little intro... then he stops playing just one measure before Lara starts to sing. of course Lara noticed it and thought there is a problem ( that sometime happens in live of course). so that's why she didn't start to sing and look at the pianist because he stopped to play. of course that was the signal for public. you see the result of this wonderful ambush.
How amazing for your sister! Thanks for sharing this. I have the DVD of this concert, and I had to look at it again with this in mind. You can hear the audience singing sooner than in this video, and she hears them and puts her hand up to tell her piano player to wait. Which apparently he was going to do anyway 😊. But I love that Lara is the kind of performer who would quickly understand something unique was happening, even if she didn't know what it was. She trusts her audience. And her audience knew that. So incredible.
the crowd is impacting Lara because instead of lyrics which said i love you "je t'aime", they say "on t'aime" which mean we love you that's why this live song for french people is so intense
Eres encantadora , no cambies amiga , es un placer para mi poner el traductor para leerte y a la vez ver tús expresiones y esa simparia que transmites desde el minuto 1 , bravo ,bravo. Viva Lara Fabian. Viva Luis Miguel. ❤
What is most touching is that instead of singing “Je t'aime = I love you” the fans sang “On t’aime” which means « We love you ». A delicate attention especially in the period she was going through. A few days before this concert she divorced Rick Allison, her husband and father of her daughter. And I'm glad that today (even though it's 21 years later) the English-speaking public has discovered her and her immense talent. Because unfortunately she was regularly put in competition with Celine Dion (by French speakers especially when she moved to Canada). She is well known in France, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy, Brasil and Argentina. And a little in Turkey, Russia and Ukraine. I'm really glad she's starting to get the global recognition she deserves.
She broke up with Mr. Alison years before this concert and they were never married. And her daughter is born years later. There was no divorce or break-up, it's just a myth invented to give a romantic touch to the story. Why, I don't know.
Christi, I was the Director of Marketing for Gibson Guitar for many years and have worked in the industry for most of my life. I love your reactions. Truly. You have wonderful and honest and knowledgeable insight and most definitely a beautiful heart.
On June 15th 2022, I went to hear and see Lara at Place des Arts in Montreal . It was my 6th time seing her and had been waiting since April 2020 because of the pandemic.....and she still touches my heart and makes me cry because of the love and tenderness she pours out. I love this woman deeply and I can say all her fans feel the same way because the connection we have with her is a Spiritual connection........ no doubt about it. We are not just her fans , we are her family of fans. She is like one of her songs says : " She's not from here " . She was definitly sent by God to touch our Souls. Looking at you and listening to your words , I see that you joined her huge family of fans. Welcome and thank you for your kind words for this wonderful Human Being called Lara Fabian.
Yesterday night in my dreams i had this irrevocable certainty that she indeed has been sent in this world to be a beautiful and soothing Light in a World of Darkness. She gives so much ❤ I don't know how i could have been away from her all these years, i feel vey sad...
I have to give a little background by this song. Lara Fabian was going trough a very difficult time personally & professionally. Because of this, a group of her fans decided to surprise her and sing her own song to her. And the whole stadium chimed in. Can you imagine that maybe 10.000 fans singing your song to lift you up? "Je t'aime" means I love you, but her fans sing to her "on t' aime" and that means we love you. This singing for her by her fantastic fans; made her very emotional towards the end of the song. Absolutely magical and touching to see how this crowd was lifting her spirit up by doing this. Later she said that because of this: she knew that life was worth living further!
What really gets me is the very last line of her lyrics, "tu vois, je t'aime comme ça" - "you see, I love you this way". This whole song is supposed to be a love song to one person, it's a love declaration to you, singular. But at 9:32, she can barely suppress a smile/chuckle when she instantly turns you, singular, to you, the audience, and she shows that everything that had happened during the song is exactly the way she loves her audience.
Merci pour votre analyse et votre émotion, gros bisous de France. Lara Fabian nous donne cette émotion au quotidien, il fallait lui rendre, elle le mérite.
We know that Lara is a master of singing, but it is at such a moment that we can really appreciate how beautiful Lara voice is. This is also moment where I can feel that she is also a beautiful person.
What makes this so special and the reason she was so emotional is that the name of the song is "Je t'aime" (I love you) but the crowd is singing "On t'aime" (WE love you). They are literally serenading her.
one of the incredible reaction in this song : when lara sing "je t'aime"(i love you) the public respond with "on t'aime" (we love you) this is a very special moment and totally insane. I think for all singers in the world, i hope for us to have this moment one time in life, so incredible !
Christi...Thank you for opening your heart and sharing your innermost feelings with us... I enjoyed the reaction a lot but I enjoyed what you said from your heart much more...I will be watching a lot more ...Thanks again and God bless you...
I have watched this a few hundred times and it always makes me weep. I don"t trust men who don"t cry. As for your comments let me say they are so connected to precisely whst is happening -- they dont simply love the performer, they love the person...and I love your wisdom and empathy and the way you open up and reveal yourself. Just exquisite. Really.
As someone who attended 18 schools before graduating high school, I saw my share of teachers and most definitely heard the phrase, "Those who can, do. Those who can't, teach." There's an additional sentence my dad always added, "But those who can teach, change the world, one student at a time." Your ability to articulate singing techniques, emoting through song, and performance analysis provides an excellent translation for those of us who can't sing and for those wishing to add more emotional authenticity to their performances. 💜
A beautiful gift from her fans. You can see she was really surprised when the pianist stopped playing to give the fans the opportunity to start singing.
She hears them first, then puts her hand up to tell him to hold up, giving the fans all of her attention. I found a copy of this concert on eBay, and you can hear them singing a little earlier than in this video.
@@elizabethwhite1068 this was prepared by her fans and musicians ;) the pianist knew :) and before the song starts you can hear someone screaming from the crowd "Lara, chante pas!" which means "Lara, don't sing!"
One thing that needs to be said is that the lyrics of the song "Je t'aime" means I love you. The crowd is actually singing "On t'aime" which means We love you.
Right now I see your LARA FABIAN reaction and not only that the performance touches me a lot, because it shows the connection of the fans to Lara Fabian, but I have to admit that the emotional, honest and human reaction of you, me, touches me and as a man that brings tears to my eyes too ...... also this honest and so warm reaction, shows you as a person, so sensitive and warm-hearted - so we can all look a little bit into your heart .... THANK YOU, soooo much , regards from Munich/Germany Jürgen
A very beautiful rendition of a beautiful song. And what a great interaction with the audience. But you also cry very beautifully... :-). You are a very beautiful woman inside and out..! X
Very touching comment on this unique moment. 06:55 An intimate moment between Lara and more than 6000 fans declaring their love to each other. I can't imagine how could anything ever top that!!!
This was just.... idk what to say. Even though seeing it on a screen... it's like the sky opened up and she flew right into space with those that adore her.... just ... glad i got to see this ty
you could see the moment, when she realized, that the crowd is singing 'on t'aime' , we love you, (about 4:40 in this video) and loosing it there, crying through the rest of the song, while making a sing along into a dialogue of equals. That was a magic moment.
J'été ému par deux choses, votre commentaire si sincère et Lara avec son public. Merci beaucoup pour ce partage d'amour et de sensibilité. :) je suis en retard de deux années :) Bonjour de la Belgique. 😍😍😍
And the crowd sings : on t'aime - we love you. And the pianist was in the plot. So he plays the intro and stops, allowing the crowd to start. Even the camera caught it right. Magic it is.
Look at the words she said to her fans before she was to begin this song: "I'm living things that, thanks to you, are unbelievable" . She did not know what was coming!!!!!! She is a great artist, an unbelievable professional, a wonderful human being and a phenomenal woman.
Ma'am you are very good in dissecting not only the music and the performance but also the psychological behavior of the performer and her being. How nice you are sharing it to us. and connecting us more to the artist and to you.
I don't usually comment in the videos, but I have to tell you, Christi, that not only was Lara's song very emotional, as she was definitely moved by her audience, but I was also moved by your humble comments to your viewers. Thank you for your vulnerability and your heart, as you explained your desire to connect with your viewers. I have been watching your reaction videos for the past few months, and I appreciate when you "break it down" with each video and review them piece by piece. I also only subscribed to your channel today, and am glad that you are here. I appreciate you. Thank you.
Humanity at its best!!! Glorious and generous love given to Lara by the right people at exactly the right time! God bless that precious audience!!!! Lara is a treasure and i have loved her for decades!!!
I think this is the biggest award that an artist can receive and she deserves to be a complete singer and congratulations on this video, your channel is a great hug.
Apparently this was a surprise organized by her fan club and the pianist because of the struggles she was having in her life. They let everyone coming in know what they were going to do. There was also a chiore in the crowd that was there to see the performance.
John from Scotland , I appreciate all your comments on the video's you react to . Love Lara so beautiful , so emotional . I have watch a lot of her videos and love them all . Je Suis Malade the version she does at 2003 Olympia is just amazing in my opinion I think it is one of her best songs . just love it and Lara
That was beautiful in every way, from the audience and their great outpouring of love to her and her returning that love ... and to seeing it magnify the love in you as well. That was beautiful. Thanks
Great job Christi. You're not rambling- you're conveying your own emotion and vulnerability, which helps connect us with the emotion in this special concert moment between Lara and the crowd. The comments below validate you and this beautifully captured moment in time. You rock - and you're beautiful yourself (and even when you cry too - your eyes are like sparkling sapphires). God bless from NZ. 💖
What makes it special is that it is a love song that is meant to be sung for the audience, but as the audience then sings for her, which then shows a mutual love between them. True love. And that honesty from the audience and Lara touches me. A once in a lifetime experience that we have fortunately been allowed to experience. How must it not have been and be in that concert hall when so many years later we can be as moved as many of us have become, by and watch that video.
Hello beautiful lady, you must know that every time UA-cam introduces me to this reaction of yours, I cannot resist watching it over and over and over. Thank you for your genuine, kind and emotional reaction.
I love Lara and I love you Christi. Your own soul shines through every moment of this vidéo, it is truly a gift to behold ! Thank you, and thank you for enhancing the amazing beauty of that concert with your own. 💖
Lara's amazed look is once in a lifetime just to see. When she starts up, she sings gently so as not to discourage them. They have become her choir. In the beginning she is CONDUCTING with her voice, NOT performing with it. That's something that she is not used to doing at least on stage. As she rises and realizes they are not stopping... She then rises and falls to highlight them for what they are doing well, and lead them where it's difficult. At this point she's MOTHERING them. Which is even more incredible. Then in the end she is consoles by them, almost crushed under the love. Beyond belief really.
I just wanted to say that she's not just a vision, she's more like an angel. That woman have had an extraordinary destiny, with a lot of struggle. The way she uses all that to deliver such beauty, is just showing up the best of all mankind. She is a transcendence, like some kind of meaning. The worst, and I am saying that as French random man, the worst is that, at some point during her career, some kind of people, you know, the well thinking ones, just started to mock her, not just mock, be cruel with her. And this cruelty was spread through mass media, just imagine how hard it must be to one day be at the top, and the next day, being insulted, without any reason. This was seriously a very uncomfortable time for people observing what was going on. Because to a point, people started to be ashamed loving her, and that is not a fake story, this is all true... She sometimes talk about a woman who once told her, "I love you, but I cannot tell it". How, and why some people, could try destroy such a person ? For years she actually thought about that, she doubted herself, but then she released another album and sold 100k units the first week. Showing them, how wrong they were, she truly is a form of living martyr, a messiah. And yes totally agree, she's so beautiful, there is this little something about her, a mystery imbuing her character. Thing is she's real, she's the demonstration, that you can reach greatness by being true, by being kind, and caring about the others. She's actually telling, just by existing that, it probably is the only way to reach greatness. And that's why I believe the well-thinking ones, tried to destroy her.
@The Voice Love Co.. you are good what you are doing, and you do it with love for the people who like to watch your reactions, including me. Thank you so much for that! 🙏❤
I like how it touches your own vulnerability and humbleness. If someone like Lara can be humbled like this by love, then I think we all can. I have myself experienced immense love and appreciation and the opposite in my years of work. I think more than being seen we need to feel our soul and this is best done in loving connection with others.
Hello Christi! From what I have heard, during the chorus of this song, Lara was singing 'I love you' to the audience, while the audience was singing 'WE love YOU' back to her. Certainly a special moment. (Edit: Just saw the end of the video, and realised you already know this, but I'll leave this comment up for those who don't know what it means!)
@@TheVoiceLoveCo Hi. I totally agree with you. Incredible and so emotional. She was so overwhelmed and just couldn't speak never mind sing! Never seen anything like that before😀
Hello Christi, brand new on your channel :) First, sorry to be this late on comments and subscribing (done!) and second, THANK you for your reactions, especially to Lara whom you discovered last year. Now, from all I've seen from you, I might say that you're possibly an angel yourself and that you're such a beautiful human being. We can easily feel your passion and your honesty in every way you look, in every word you say too. So thank you. Back to Lara, if you allow me. What a lot people don't know about her is that she started in the 90's, moving in Quebec from Belgium. Celine started her career few years before, as a teenager. While Celine was being pushed on for an international career in USA, Lara tried her luck back in Europe and made it. But after, when she tried going to USA, she was compared, underrated, mistreated and pushed aside more than once in a way she could never become bigger than what she really deserves. And many influent people mocked her too often. So sad. We could say it's a kind of "rules of the play", if I may. Yes, she's a star but it's still shocking that people coudn't get to know her before. She had tough times personnally and professionally - yes, you're right, we all do!- but she never had the chance to go higher, like she couldn't find a place on the same market, or quite. Yes, competition is fierce when money and relationships are at stakes. Something tells me you'll understand what I mean. So, do I like her? No. I LOVE HER. Besides the wonderful Withney Houston, barely we can see such a complete and amazing artist. Tough road built her entirely just the way she is. Maybe one of the reasons why she's sooo beloved. Sorry I took a lot of place. But I really hope more and more people wil get to know her. :) THANKS again.
I have never seen an epic duet of this magnitude. Even the lyrics of the song is well connected and meaningful to what was transpiring. After the crowd started the song, everything just become a spontaneous exchange of perfection.
Merci pour vos commentaires. "Je t'aime" est une chanson qui est très connue en France. Elle a été très populaire à sa sortie en 1996. Lara Fabian est une grande artiste, une grande interprète.
We love you, Christi. That's one of the reasons we keep coming back for your reactions and deconstruction and tips and reflection. Thank you so much for being here.
Awww... Let me tell you you're beautiful inside out. Amd you reactions and words bring so much joy and entertainment to my life. Please keep doing what you do so well! Sending love from Germany 🧡
Have listened to a a lot of reactions to Lara I find them fascinating! She is incredible. The reaction to the audience is just so beautiful & unique . Gets me every time. It’s mesmerising. Congrats on this reaction
You are so right w how u saw her reaction, she is just such an amazing performer in every way, she leaves her heart on the stage every time, I abs adore lara!
Thank you Christi for another perfect video. I can tell you are a beautiful soul and I enjoy watching your reactions and insights. I love how clear you express yourself and how passionate you are. I send you lots of love from France. Keep rocking ! 💖
It's been a while since you reacted to this. I have watched this performance several times and am emotionally affected every time. I guess she had some personal problems and this song was one of her breakout songs a few years prior. I have never seen an audience be THAT invested in a talent. To receive that adulation by fans has to be the ultimate compliment.
I have watched this performance a lot by now, and it's almost unreal how connected she and her audiences are, and I include myself. I have also watched several reactions to this song as well, and yours is the most human, appropriate and insightful I've seen so far. That's a subscribe from me.
You're such a sweet person. I love your humility, your smile and your ability to understand Lara's world beyond the lirycs. Im a big fan of you. Greetins from Argentina.
Everything has been said, either by yourself or by the comments left here. You nailed it, Lara is a beautiful artist, physically but also, and maybe more importantly, spiritually.
13:11 I think this is the first time it hits Lara that the audience is altering the chorus from "Je t'aime" ("I love you") to "On t'aime" ("We love you")!
Nobody translates Laura's work and Laura as a human being as you do, Christi Bovee. Not only because you are so intelligent and knowledgeable, but also there is this human quality about you of having this amazing sensibility of, just like Lara, expressing emotions with such a clarity and quality and divine grace! We, fans of Lara Fabian, feel so deeply that she is being honored by you as she really deserves. Thank you for being so generous and graceful and tender with the words and feelings you convey. It is impossible not to admire you and your work. Your analysis are so refined, so moving, so full of substance. Thank you so much!!! It is a privilege to listen to you.
Christi, we appreciate you, and what you do. There's always gonna be a small group of people trying to put you or others down. But they're just that, a small group of people. I was really touched when, in an other video you said "I want to be her (Lara Fabian) when I grow up". That made me so emotional. Just know that we love you. Never give up, and keep being you, because "you" is beautiful inside and out. Cheers from France, on t'aime. :)
I ramble a lot in this video! Ultimately, I was trying to express my immense gratitude for you. 🙏 Thank you for your encouragement and kindness. 😘 I hope someday to make a video about WHY I started UA-cam as a way to work through the grief. YOU are a huge part of my healing and I thank you.
Thank YOU for YOU! xx
Dear Christi, thank you again for reacting again to Lara. Thank you too, for being so nice, kind, and inspiring. The world need more people like you!
Wow. Thank you so much for this video. We love you.
I hope you get to see Lara some day in a future concert. She still has power and soul at 51. I think she travels with less of a symphony these days but her career has been outstanding always.
Thank you! Absolutely love this channel. Your reactions are so heartfelt.
this was one of the most beautiful things i have ever seen and heard
.Lara is the only singer on planet earth to sing from her soul to our soul.

Oh oui ON l'aime, elle est magnifique....
That was also where i was thinking about.. she is great! Lara have a beautiful heart
She couldn't sing louder because she was too emotionnal. She would have cried if she had done.

Thank YOU for your emotions and your feelings. A beautiful soul with a beautiful face. Je t'adore from Greece!!!
An other thing is, that the fans didn‘t sing: ”Je t’aime....“ ( *I* love you). They sang: ”On t‘aime...“( *We* love you)
Nice one. Stay alive
Yes they are not singing with her, they are singing to her, which is why she gets so emotional.
Our singer-songwriters work a lot on their music , even if you don't understand French, you'll love the song .
Try : mylene Farmer - California .
(I'm a Big fan of A-ha btw)
🇨🇵 🤝 🇳🇴
THANK YOU TO ALL OF THEM
@@manukeo5498
I know her and like her songs too
Chansons and black blues are my favourite genre.
my sister was there and i must tell you what happened . as someone already told you Lara was having a very tough time. the fans knew it and some of them went to meet Lara's artistic director that is also the pianist here. they told him what they wanted to give her.
'..didn't _know_ anything..'
vous etes magnifique lady et votre émotion est aussi touchante ! oui Lara nous fait vibrer, mais plus encore c'est le partage de cette émotion.
You are a beautiful lady with a beautiful heart, i loved the reaction.
imagine being in the crowd at this event and experiencing all of this greatness, how can you then go and see another show after that ?!!!
the crowd is impacting Lara because instead of lyrics which said i love you "je t'aime", they say "on t'aime" which mean we love you that's why this live song for french people is so intense
I love the way you help us non musical types understand your craft at a higher level. You seem to be such a beautiful, special person.
@@jmullway3979 Yes i agree with you, i wonder why people always tell this completely false divorce story.
You tube is much better when Lara and you are here.Thank you.❤️
Christi, I was the Director of Marketing for Gibson Guitar for many years and have worked in the industry for most of my life.
I so agree, and I’m feeling welcomed into the family too thanks to your beautiful comment!
Yesterday night in my dreams i had this irrevocable certainty that she indeed has been sent in this world to be a beautiful and soothing Light in a World of Darkness.
She gives so much ❤
I don't know how i could have been away from her all these years, i feel vey sad...
Christi, I hope you found the back story on this concert. It brings tears to my eyes when I listen to this.
Love Lara ❤
Love from Denmark ❤
We know that Lara is a master of singing, but it is at such a moment that we can really appreciate how beautiful Lara voice is. This is also moment where I can feel that she is also a beautiful person.
What makes this so special and the reason she was so emotional is that the name of the song is "Je t'aime" (I love you) but the crowd is singing "On t'aime" (WE love you). They are literally serenading her.
Yeah! You go girl, your one of my ' lara's '.
She was just standing there taking it all in.....emotional!
I hear you and love you, keep the reactions going!
one of the incredible reaction in this song : when lara sing "je t'aime"(i love you) the public respond with "on t'aime" (we love you) this is a very special moment and totally insane.
Those who can't, teach." There's an additional sentence my dad always added, "But those who can teach, change the world, one student at a time."
Your ability to articulate singing techniques, emoting through song, and performance analysis provides an excellent translation for those of us who can't sing and for those wishing to add more emotional authenticity to their performances.
@@elizabethwhite1068 no, look more carefully. the pianist stop playing. then she raise head and look at him. and audience start singing.
@@elizabethwhite1068 this was prepared by her fans and musicians ;) the pianist knew :) and before the song starts you can hear someone screaming from the crowd "Lara, chante pas!" which means "Lara, don't sing!"
there is a mutual exchange , respect and love with Lara and her audience : she sings : i love u , the audience answers : we love u
One thing that needs to be said is that the lyrics of the song "Je t'aime" means I love you. The crowd is actually singing "On t'aime" which means We love you.
Exactly. I think that is very important touch that makes this moment so special.
I have watched your reaction over and over. Love it. Thank you.
Her voice is angelic; her humanity is Devine.
Thank you for your authenticity! You are bringing love, music, and emotions to all of us.
you could see the moment, when she realized, that the crowd is singing 'on t'aime' , we love you, (about 4:40 in this video) and loosing it there, crying through the rest of the song, while making a sing along into a dialogue of equals. That was a magic moment.
J'été ému par deux choses, votre commentaire si sincère et Lara avec son public. Merci beaucoup pour ce partage d'amour et de sensibilité. :) je suis en retard de deux années :) Bonjour de la Belgique. 😍😍😍
I’ve watched many YT reactions to this performance, but this is the only one that truly gets it.
You are so knowledgeable and so present in your presentation of Lara Fabian and her fans.
Je t'aime. Tu es tellement belle et précieuse. ❤️
Thank you Madame for appreciating Lara the way you do 🙏🏻 🇫🇷🇨🇦
I don't usually comment in the videos, but I have to tell you, Christi, that not only was Lara's song very emotional, as she was definitely moved by her audience, but I was also moved by your humble comments to your viewers. Thank you.
same here....
Lara is one of those artists with the ability to sing two words and have you in tears. A beautiful reaction, just like the reactor. Cheers!
WE LOVE U THE WAY YOU ARE ; DON'T EVEN THINK TO CHANGE ANYTHING ABOUT U TO PLEASE ANYONE

🌹🌺🌸🌻💐✨💖🇺🇸🥰LOVE Lara; the audience and pianist; and YOU!!!
That was beautiful in every way, from the audience and their great outpouring of love to her and her returning that love ... and to seeing it magnify the love in you as well. That was beautiful. Thanks
And your Words are also beautiful and i completely agree with you.
Intimate moment between an artist and her fans. What else could artist wish?
Great job Christi. You're not rambling- you're conveying your own emotion and vulnerability, which helps connect us with the emotion in this special concert moment between Lara and the crowd. The comments below validate you and this beautifully captured moment in time. You rock - and you're beautiful yourself (and even when you cry too - your eyes are like sparkling sapphires). God bless from NZ. 💖
We need real and simple persons like you and Lara. Thank you to have given your heart and love in this video. ♥️
Lara will always remember that moment :) Love unconditional LOve wow what a performer
your reaction is one of the best I saw for this song, you are genuine and full of passion, keep up the good work, lot of love from France.
LOVE THIS @GuitarGirl! Isn't it the sweetest thing? This is one of the best artist-audience moments I've ever seen. 😭
Yes that is right. Amazing!
@@TheVoiceLoveCo Hi. I totally agree with you. Incredible and so emotional. She was so overwhelmed and just couldn't speak never mind sing!
Never seen anything like that before😀
No matter how many times I watch this I cry, and your genuine reaction and words after made me cry more. You're good people Ms Bovie. On T'aime. 💛
Magnificient - my new favourite word about Lara, Thank U
Impressive and life changing....no words

Thank you for this reaction.. you touched me with your message you dropped us.. thank you again
Very emotional performance as well as your comment, thank you

Christi, we appreciate you, and what you do. There's always gonna be a small group of people trying to put you or others down. But they're just that, a small group of people.
I was really touched when, in an other video you said "I want to be her (Lara Fabian) when I grow up". That made me so emotional.
Just know that we love you. Never give up, and keep being you, because "you" is beautiful inside and out.
Cheers from France, on t'aime. :)
