The improv dave does is so amazing here during the outro bridge but I love this song and I admire the musicianship as they jam through the outro but I miss the subtle and melodic texture and structure that the song once had during the ending. Just my taste

Actually, it's about Dave's brother-in-law, who murdered his sister Anne and then killed himself.
This song is about a man that murdered someone. He wants to know if his mate will hide the murder. If you are with someone that won't hide this kind of mistake then you should not be with them.

This is such an amazing band. All except Stefan Lessard, that guy is the luckiest mediocre talent in the music industry. I don't know what dirt this guy has on Dave Matthews that keeps him in this band but holy cow, he's awful.

From 6:27 to 6:54 Dave's high notes or "wails" have been autotuned by DMB management.

I think it sounds beautiful, but I hate that they would do this without telling us. It's happened before.

It's a shame but like you said, he's pretty atrocious technique wise(wouldn't need cortisone otherwise) though he's improved a lot, they need to sell a shiny pristine package
