@@gregoryhunter753 I forget which High School but I saw it at a special showing at the Orpheum, a large twenties style movie palace and he thanked his HS drama teacher who was in the audience (Madison, Wisconsin)
I've never seen this before! I guess this is a deleted version of the karaoke bar scene. I can see why they chose the other version but this is still awesome. Thank you for posting this!
Thank you so much for this video, I've enjoyed every second of watching 😄 This is my favorite movie and I watched it so many times. I know every scene by heart and for me, it was a pleasure seeing things differently. You rock 🤘
Thank you for liking me video! Just like my other videos, this was actually a class assignment in which I had to reorganize all the cuts together from everything they'had shot for this paricular scene, and create appropriate sound design along. So glad to see people like it! 😄
It's so strange to see this movie when you don't know your worth and don't love yourself (Tom's POV). And then again when you finally realize your worth and do love yourself. Makes you smile both times, but for the former, because it makes you hopeful. And the latter, because its actually a good movie that makes you say, wow, how could someone actually think they could be happy searching for happiness based on if they have someone or not? There is no greater love than to give your life for someone, but there could be no greater respect than the one you have for yourself. To be happy with someone, anyone, you must first be happy on your own. Truly happy. Or else you'll never be happy with anyone, even if they are the most beautiful, gorgeous, nicest, most awesome person in the world.
Also this version actually seems like it would play out like a real conversation though. The final movie version is much more cinematic and flowing, but in reality it would be like this I think.
She shows her Palms of the hands in every shot, why? they want to show her like an open and transparent girl. Rhode signs warned the guy of who she was all the time.
I've posted this a few times but i met a guy 15 years ago who was basically Tom and i was Summer. He fell super hard really quickly where as i told him i just wanted fwb. We did this on and off for a year til i sadly broke his heart and found a new guy. BIGGEST MISTAKE of my life. 15 years later i bumped into my Tom at a gig, we hit it off again instantly, i was a lot more mature and so was he. I'm now his wife and i give birth to our first baby in 6 weeks ❤❤ right person, wrong time. He's the most perfect husband ever.
Frustrating that you cut out the part I cane for. I’m trying to find the scene where his friends sings Poison’s Every Rose Has Its Thorn but you had to cut out the best part. Thanks for nothing
Everyone would love to be someone's bf or gf..as long as it's the right person. Summer said that to Tom bcoz she thought she could do better than him. A temporary relationship is fine but marriage is off limit coz he's not rich enough. At the end of the day, she's just like any other pretty girls..materialistic. And you can see that she actually getting married to someone who could buy her a nice wedding ring. Summer would definitely choose Tom..if he's a succesful architect. It's all transactional with Summer..and unfortunately that's how most people see a relationship..
🤦🏻♀️Nowhere in the movie does she say or suggest she didn’t value Tom because he’s not rich or successful enough, or that she married the other guy because he was all those things. She simply wasn’t sure about Tom as a long term, stable partner. If you rewatch the movie you’ll realize they were two very different people. Not similar enough to sustain a long term, meaningful partnership. So please get your ass backwards, sexist opinions out of here. Thanks 👋🏼
I already read the feminists takes on this movie, and can't agree with it, they just want to be right, but they are wrong on this, she was wrong and that's it.
Simply one of my all time favorite films. I would definitely put this one on my top ten desert island movies.
made partly where I live. the director, from here, based it and some of the post production processes...
@@ericpeterson6766 Wow man!!!! Marc Webb is from your neck of the woods? Fascinating.

Nobody is happy by their own! Love doesn't work like. Tom was a victim in the whole movie!
Honestly this is something that low value men/unattractive men, and women who date out of their league tell themselves.
I like the scene better. It feels more real
Why is this scene different than the other ones? The shots are different when she's singing.
Yeah
Yeah
Yeah
Yeah

Seeing this movie again older, Summer is so much more mature than the protagonist
She may be more mature, but she’ll still a damaged girl who is basically lying to herself.
this is a different version than in the real movie
I’ve never seen this version before!

Why this whole scene is different with the scene in the movie
Must be an unedited cut
I related so much to Tom.. no bueno.. very glad I watched this movie
Summer - a classic avoidant.
4:48 starts to sing
This seems to be a slightly different version of the scene that ended up in the movie. I can see small variations in script, editing, and direction.
Holy shit where did u find this?
Is this a different cut? This entire scene is quite different.
Which micheal buble song in playing in the background?
I think this was a deleted scene
Why headphones
Bc Mitochondria is the power house of the cell
Wtf is this different cut? I’ve never seen this before
every rose 🌹 has it torn gubaa..
Wait did we just Mandela effect?
No haha it’s just uncut
I was like Tom then I became like summer that's life!!

Zooey Deschanel is very beautiful and pretty girl, she's my girl celebrity crush
Es limitante pero darme más diversión a mi. En todos los sentidos XD
Which song is she singing?
